For the ones saying the click is annoying... it is until you are up in stage and you can't even hear your thoughts hahaha the click for musicians is the best way to keep track of whatever you are playing

For those new to click tracks/in ear monitors, it serves a lot of purposes. Keeps band in sync, keeps Taylor on time with band. Overcomes crowd noise.Think about what the basic physics as well. Light travels faster than sound, so while Taylor is standing at the front of the stage 50 yards out in front of the band, if she were relying on hearing them as the audience does, her vocals would be out of sync with the band as she’s now far away. The goal is to have the music hit the audiences ears all in unison, so having the click track is a must. Nothing new here, people have been using click tracks since in ears existed and even drummers with headphones are hearing the metronome. All part of the show. Very cool and thanks for posting this

Thanks SO much for making this! I'm so curious: what do you consider when making these? I'm thinking of things like deciding when/when not to use count/ins, when to start them, and other things such as whether or not to specify the upcoming song section (I've heard in-ear mixes that do), which instruments to emphasize, plus other considerations I'm sure I'm not aware of? As a classically trained singer who's only performed non-classically on small stages and has never used in-ear monitors, these basically take the place of a conductor. I'm sure a LOT of thought goes into these mixes!

The in-ear monitor play a crucial role in helping musicians stay in sync during live performances.
It's like having a personalised audio guide tailored to each performer's needs.
They hear specific instruments, vocals, and cues that help them stay on beat.
      Hope this helps :)
