    Im so glad that someone actually did it. I have been thinking about freelance as a book keeper but super super confused and nervous that i would ruin my clients books, even though I had a lil experience of doing a part of book keeping like invoicing and receipts every week and expenses once in a month plus all the manual accounting from journalising to final accounts that i did in my BBA.

      Go for it! You never know until you start what you're capable of and how much you could help a business owner with something they definitely don't feel comfortable with! All the best to you!

    Do you think there is a best time to contact people when you’re approaching them about needing your services? Like is it better to send a message first thing in the morning? On a Monday? Midweek?

    • @RealisticBookkeeping
      @RealisticBookkeeping  3 года назад +1

      I've never really thought about that, but maybe late afternoon to evening so that even if they don't respond that night the message is waiting for them the next morning.

    Hey Rachel!! Wanna be my bookkeeping buddy?! 😅 I’ve been thinking of starting my business for a few weeks and now that I’m pregnant with my second baby, I’m really ready! Kinda freaking out, but your videos have been SO helpful 🙌🏼 Also a Type A over here and taking lots of notes. Thank you for sharing your journey 💗

    before i reach out to potential clients, should i ave a fee schedule? how do i determine my service fees??

    • @RealisticBookkeeping
      @RealisticBookkeeping  3 года назад +1

      That’s a great question! I don’t think you need to have that all figured out before you try to find clients! You can decide that as you go, in my opinion 😊

    How was your experience signing up with quickbooks accountant? Some people say it’s free but how did you do it?
    I found you on a group we’re in. 🙂

      Hey! I’m so happy you reached out! You know, I thought it was going to be really confusing just signing up and getting my account “set up,” but it wasn’t nearly as bad as I made it out to be in my head! I really just signed up as an “accountant” and then looked around in the training section. Here’s the link to sign up for QuickBooks Online Accountant: quickbooks.intuit.com/accountants/products-solutions/accounting/online/
      Let me know how it goes!

    Did you find a helpful resource for determining your pricing structure?

    • @RealisticBookkeeping
      @RealisticBookkeeping  3 года назад

      I have not :( BUT, FinePoints has a pretty good video describing her pricing for small, medium and large clients - ruclips.net/video/8A877-pVRKA/видео.html I'll also be making a video soon about my newest pricing :)
