@@PBKreviews What should i do against stuff going inside the phone? Hair and stuff like that its transparent and has a fan which sucks things in it.
@@McLova911 One. Leave game mode alone if that's the case, leave it Fan Mode off until you're aware from debris source. 2. You only see bits of debris in the transparent fan window, nowhere else inside of the transparent glass back. (I own the 7SPro and work in a pretty dust ridden workplace. I often keep my phone in my department locker because debris just loves static build up, even from pocket lint).
@@McLova911 Also, this is why the Intake near the camera array has a mesh screen, and if I recall even has a white sheet moisture pad(?) Inside I could be wrong about the pad because I see white something underneath the mesh of my phones intake.

I ordered one of these for christmas so I'm glad your video exists! I do have one question though- With there being so much copper sheeting inside prone to bends and folds, would we expect worse cooling performance after the first disassembly?

Is there an easier way to clean the vents? I'm always afraid to disassemble anything that's not just held on with screws
just use an air can and u can blow the dust out just dont do it at point blank range with the phone and it will be fine thats how many ppl do it

You mean on the unit I took apart? Yeah if you take it apart, its always best to re apply the thermal paste. I don't show it in the videos to save time, but I re apply the thermal pastes when I am done with the videos.
and what thermal paste do you use? Is the color of this device pink or any of them will work?
Could you change the CPU to a newer model ?
No, the CPU aka SoC is soldered to the board, plus there is nothing newer "yet".
Thank you i'm interesting this phone. But yeah disassembly is a must for me since after 1-2 year after heavy use need to replace battery / thermal paste

Where can I get a motherboard for this phone? I bricked mine and messed it up desoldering a bad IC. There were shorts all over the board. I really don't want to buy a whole phone for a simple board replacement. I think the damage I've done to my board is beyond repair. Any ideas?

you should remove the battery sticker, remove the black paint on the glass, and put it back together, it would look amazing
Yep, but removing the paint on the glass wouldn't make much difference since the adhesive strip around it would basically become the black paint border's replacement.
@@PBKreviews You can try out the patented "JerryRigEverything" method (double sided tape)
You could also buy adhesive strips specifically for phones and cut them into shape, or the easier but basically permanent method of using UV resin
And also you can check phone under
display front face camera which can be fun.
Oh yeah I should have shown how the cut out was for it but forgot to mention it.
Can u explain the effectiveness of how does that active cooling fan work in my opinion its kind of useless
It helps a lot, blows out the heat from the heat chamber inside the phone helping it cool down faster, and stay cooler. The quicker you get heat out the better the phone would operate.

you can try to use a compressed air can to gently air out the vents but thats about it.
I'm wondering the same iv tried a long bristled brush but I just can't get it to actually brush the glass lol iv tried compressed air but it's still there

I guess you can use mini air compressors or blowers, and small gadget brush with fine tips

@@McLova911 if you have a portable air compressor, may it be compressed air spray can or a device itself, just blow on both intake and exhaust vents of the phone. Make sure you device is turned off while doing so
@@McLova911 i've seen others used vaccuum cleaners with tiny nozzles to suck out dust or blow it. blowing or sucking dust from the inside would be enough.
When will the pro be released globally? And is this phone possible to buy in the states?
Probably sometime in quarter 2 of the year. Its a tempting device, I like it a lot. Especially the transparent version.

Can you do a video to show how to clean the redmagic 6s pro air vents and if its ok to blow caned air through it or would a vacuum work to clean the vents because i have one but the country I'm in we don't have good phone techs or one's who know about the phone and shipping it out to get fix will be extremely expensive for me.
Just want to know for future purposes in case my vents gets dusty or clogged

There are zero parts available for this phone on the site you link in the vido description. Where can I source new batteries for it? I have been googling around, but simply cannot find a place that would have any sort of spare parts for this brand.

Is it easy to change the back cover? The glass got broke and I'm going to prder the cover.
Mine is 7s pro
It's not too difficult, just use a hair dryer to apply heat as needed to loosen the adhesive and work your way around prying it off. You will probably need a suction cup tool to help you gain leverage to get a pry tool in between the glass and frame, or you can use a thin metal tool or razor blade but that would probably scratch up or scuff up your frame.
That was a mission.

nope, the screen and glass are glued together and the glass is not user replaceable.

Anyone here know the power it requires to operate charge separation feature on rm7/7pro? Coz I'll use it on a powerbank with the same rating.
i hate those coaxial cables lol. they use them on xbox controllers and you have to remove them to take the controller apart and they aren't designed to be unplugged and replugged a bunch of times so if you like to change your controller case and buttons / replace your sticks often then chances are these antenna connectors will break off the board eventually ripping a pad or two off with them. Nightmare to fix!

What about the most important part..the LCD
After you disassemble the phone as shown in the video, all that is left is to pry off the screen. There is no point for me to damage a working screen to pry it off when there is nothing to it. Just apply some heat and pry off.

Help! I recently got this phone and the darn intro song to theo Vons podcast blew my speaker. It got so loud so fast it was immediate. I just contacted the company but I never finished setting it up because I only used it to watch a video before bed and hadn't gotten a sim for it and didn't finish warranty. They made it so hard to get a year warranty although I bought it FROM them. What do I do. This looks likes if I get the speakers replaced I'll damage other parts of the phone and i barley have gotten to use it. 😭
If you paid with your credit card, I would suggest contacting them and filing a complaint, since your credit card company usually will have more leeway with them and you will have a better chance at arguing for a replacement or refund with them. They should honor it regardless of you registering the warranty.

the fan air portion is closed off with a lining/adhesive so the area it has moving air is just a chamber. The air doesn't get into other portions of the phone so unless you drop your phone and crack the back or the adhesive on the back comes off, there shouldn't be any dust showing up inside the back glass.

@@PBKreviews hello again, you will right about the dust part that it wont get in the back, but theres a bigger problem, so i got my Redmagic 7S Pro and theres alot dust in the intake fan or whatever i don't know what it is called, so i wanted to as is it possible to disassemble the back, get the dust out and but the back frame back on without any damages

Without opening it up, maybe a compressed air can carefully spraying the air from one end

Hi, usually there isn't enough room in the frame compartment for a larger battery to fit. The 5000 mAh battery would be slightly larger. Also since the 7 pro and 7 (from what I remember) have different charging speed capabilities, it might not work for fast charging at the same speed for the battery since the battery may not be rated for it. It might work also but won't know until you try.

I have this phone it has two issues. The side menu shortcut tab is not removable, defeats the whole point of the fancy screen. Second after the latest software update the fan no longer works. Over priced for issues like that.
what software version have u installed which made the fan not work?
@@djkivler1916 latest build I reached out to Nubia and the advised me to enter *#8604# in your dial pad, then you will enter Test mode.After that, please choose the option named "Fan test". adjust to the highest speed, and the speed above 12000 rpm is normal. Noise-related issues are also tested at this gear. It started working, think phone needs ahard reboot after some updates.

lol not sure maybe they can engineer it differently one day but one thing I can think of is it would get damaged easily from a drop if the motherboard or main components were located too close to the outer parts of the phone.

WHY NOT REMOVE THE SCREEN??
I usually don't pry off working screens unless there is something underneath that needs to be shown because there is a high chance of damaging or breaking the screen and it costs me a lot of money to purchase these phones so I don't want to render them useless. After the disassembly shown in the video, all that is left is to heat it up and pry off the screen from the frame so nothing much to it.

The channel the air goes through is sealed off from the rest of the phone. The air goes through the channel and out the other side.

Red magic 7 pro I bought from Nubia Global Store and is worst phone i ever bought.
Cooler works very loudly and
not only that, it no longer charges after two weeks of use.
