    Say, why aren't you trying to test toothbrushes with the mouth-color test?
    Meaning after you eat something, put the color liquid in the mouth, brush, and then show how well it did.
    Sure it's not so scientific, but it gives some indication if it's doing a good job...
    Also, about sonic-based toothbrushes like here (in other words, vibration-based), is it true that this is how you use them? Just move them slowly over each tooth, and not really brushing it on your own?

      We do the test you advise as part of our testing. We just don't typically show this on camera. However we are looking to implement this in future videos. I will always be honest if it is doing a good job or not.
      Yes, the advice is generally to move them from tooth to tooth letting the brush do all the work. Our in house dentists personally recommend using small circular motions too as they think this helps, but the manufacturers generally advise tooth to tooth only.

      @@ElectricTeeth I see.
      Why not show the colors result though? Is it because you generally get the same result anyway?
      About the motion, that's a bit weird because I thought that the more motion there is, the better, so if you add your own motion, it's better than just what the toothbrush does alone.

      Correct. There is often very little variance in the results as most brushes do a very good job. Realistically only long term 'clinical' tests really tell the whole story. Unfortunately we are not in a position to be able to offer such.
      The brushing motion is one that needs more study really, but I would speak to your dentist to see what they say is best for you.

    Should I get this or the Suri for travel?

    • @ElectricTeeth

      I'd opt for SURI because of the travel case.

    Hi!, I've been engaging into your videos lately! Quite effective in content delivery! Nice job! Regarding the product: What do you suggest is better between the oclean line? Maybe the X Pro Elite?

      Glad to read you have found the content useful. It's a tricky one to be honest, there is a lot of similarity between them all. I would generally advise the Elite as the best of the range. The only catch being if you are a regular traveller the X Pro Digital might be better because of the travel case that comes with it.

    When will you review the Laifen Wave?

    • @ElectricTeeth
      @ElectricTeeth  5 месяцев назад +1

      Soon. We've ordered one and waiting for it to ship. Went for the stainless steel one but it seems to keep getting delayed 🤦‍♂️

      Hey, quick question ref the Laifen Wave brush. Are you in the market for a new brush or are you simply interested because all the ads etc

      @@ElectricTeeth Hi! I am simply interested because of the ads. I am a dentist. I personally own Philips Diamond Clean for more than 8 years and I love it and recommend it. I want to hear your opinion about Laifen Wave.

    What's better do you think. The fairywill p 11 or e 11? And do you think either of these are better than my current oral b pro 2000?

    • @ElectricTeeth
      @ElectricTeeth  5 месяцев назад +3

      From memory there isn't a lot between them. I'd argue the E11 is marginally more user friendly based on the way the cleaning mode labels are configured. If your Pro 2000 is working I wouldn't suggest it worthwhile changing.
