You even mention some of the downsides. I wonder if this case version does charge with usb-c to usb-c, since the Oclean X pro digital does not. I also do not understand why Oclean offers a customizable setting, where you can pick different timers for each mode, but does not allow the information of changing positions adapt to those timers. Furthermore, the idea of having the charging stand as the wall adapter like with the X Pro Digital was nice. They should have made the charging stand with a detachable usb-c cable and pin it to the wall as well. And charging hanging on the wall would have been nice, too...
I've tried it with 2 USB-C to USB-C chargers and it appears to be topping up the battery. Charging lights coming on and screen showing accepting charge. I have not done extensive testing.

$130 but £200 in the UK? What a rip off for us.
$130 + local taxes etc whereas UK includes taxes. Still more though, I agree.
I suspect it will come down a bit in time and there will likely be promotional offers.
Oclean X Ultra S Sonic Toothbrush is loud and not 45dB as you say, the charger is very slow, poor materials, cheap plastic, the battery runs out quickly, returns are not possible after opening the box, the worst toothbrush I have ever bought in my life, the worst company
This sounds like a very different experience to what I have had. Have you spoken to Oclean about these things?

I would contest this if I were you. How would you know about this until you opened the box? If you paid via credit card it can be worth speaking to them too.
Hi, I've had the toothbrush for a few days but as a score after cleaning it always gives me a "12". I tried a reset, but it didn't work. It only worked on the first wash, after which it did the firmware update to version 1.1.0.6 ... Anyone have the same problem? Thanks
You can also swipe on the left of the toothbrush screen to see the weather and time, and I think that's why it needs Wi-Fi.
I find rotary brushes transmit a lot of vibration to my skull. The brush isn't that loud but when I touch it to my teeth the vibrations are loud, through bone conduction. Does this toothbrush produce less bone conduction? Do ultrasonics? 6:10
This brush uses bone conduction to give the audible alerts.
I don't really suffer with the feeling of vibration to the skull that I would find it to be a problem.
The vibration can potentially feel a bit louder when in contact with the teeth, but I can't say this brush is notably different to any other sonic toothbrush I have used.
@@ElectricTeeth thanks that is helpful. Ideally someone can compare this toothbrush in this regard to a rotary brush like an Oral-B.
DO NOT BUY!!!! It works for a month and then it stops. Customer service does not reply or help!
Sorry to hear this. It sounds out of character for Oclean support to be this way. Have you tried emailing them? Followed up? Did you buy direct or through a third party?
