Chester Bennington and Linkin Park were just another frking league, I just cant seem to understand how could he sing those insane screamings and high notes, then sing as an angel, all at the same time and with no problem on studio and live. RIP Chester, forever missed
Live performances of The Messenger are even better. There was one performance I heard once, I think it was from 2012, he didn't even have a mic or anything but he sounded like an angel. Also My December from Projekt Revolution 2002- outstanding
Chester had such a great Voice, he really could do everything. This is the first Video I saw from you and I really liked it! Keep up with the good work :) Greetings from Germany!
I couldn't agree more with you man. Although I was hoping to see the 17-seconds scream from Given Up, because while official studio recording he did the entire stretch without stopping while changing the vocal note and then also nailing the chorus scream to perfection right after that. Chester Bennington 4ever ❣❣🔥🔥
@@WSlopeAggie Inhales are seriously bad. Hurts after like 5 seconds. Personally I don't wanna do whistles either. Fry highs are good enough for the job.
I think Chester said at one point he’s sometimes more comfortable on stage than in the studio cause of the fans. I can’t exactly remember where but it definitely shows in their live performances, his energy each and every show was just unmatched. And I agree that sometimes the live performances are even better than the studio ones. I actually prefer the 2014 download festival performance of One Step Closer over the studio version.
You should analyze Kyo from Die En Grey. Guy does literally everything; growls, screams, cleans you name it. Not to mention he makes whistle screams like it's nothing.
Chester Bennington is a legend. I saw Stone Temple Pilots and he was singing alongside with them in replacement of Scott and it was an incredible show! He did the iconic bull horn and overall a phenomenal performer. He will always be loved and missed 💜
That A6 isn't singing, it is an inhale note. Which while really high, isn't singing in the sense we usually put it. Most people can make that sound, but it's still really impressive gow he got that tone so consistent and clean. Even when he is pulling tricks he is impressive. Also that is from "a place for my head" from "live in texas" 2003
Hello, first of all i want to tell you that i love your channel, i admire the work you do in investigating each singer you analyze, and it would be a dream Come true for me if you made a video about the best vocals of Vince Neil from Mötley Crüe as already i wrote in the past, a strong greeting friend!!
I love his camp freddy performances!!Who am I kidding?I love ALL of Chesters music lol Chester n Chris..Layne,Kurt,Scott..We have several artists with amazing vocals n talent but none of them are as insanely talented as these guys imo!🤘🏽 Thank you for your fun videos!
I really get the feel that Chester likely did a lot of his studio vocals in one take. I saw him live in 2007 with Linkin Park where his good friend Chris Cornell was the support act. incredible.
You should give a listen to some Soul and RnB singers, they could scream like nobody else. Especially ones Wilson Pickett, James Brown, Little Richard and Baby Huey.
How dumb are u tobcompare those to Chester's singing. I understand u people are so old and lost 2000s 1st decade completely. See his live performances and linkin park songs are tough at all ends to sing.
Since you said you'd do anyone's vocals, could you check out a friend of mine's vocal range? For his age he has a CRAZY voice. He has really low notes and really high ones too, plus he's also very versatile, he does a LOT of different genres
Haha I was actually saying to someone the other day that chester's lowest note should be his didgeridoo. Its funny that often the most impressive stuff from him is when he's messing around or doing covers.
We lost a irreplaceable legend in Chester he is a one of a kind tremendously talented unique human being that we will never see anything like him again greatly missed legend 🙏❤️
Thanks for the video man! But it`s not a part* in a song* or a song of Linkin Park`s that`s amazing, or how he transitions from screaming to clean singing, it`s very simple - his singing is god level (no joke intended) and every body else is a mere mortal. Again, I`m not trying to be funny. Those handful of people in the world who have superb vocal perception understand that he wasn`t from this world. Everybody else sounds like they`re disabled and squeaky compared to him. P.S. The most impressive part in Given Up isn`t the scream, it`s cool and all but the truly awesome thing is the B4 vocal laser beam. Not even super female singers can sing so powerfully that high. He truly shot sonic lasers. He was the god of singing.
@@CrazySinging And Waiting For The End, some Dead By Sunrise songs. B4 was his stongest high note. He didn`t go higher usually because higher it didn`t sound as cool for him. While everybody else squeaks on much lower notes and they just don`t hear how bad it sounds:)
@@CrazySinging I can give you awesome vocal lines from the Backstreet Boys (either from the band as a whole or from 3 of it`s famous singers individually) and Amy Lee (Evanescence) for your "3 Craziest vocal lines" series.
So, i really like this chanel. A few days ago i listened to my old CDs from the Darkness and was screaming the high parts, inspiered by your chanel. Maybe you make an episode about Justin Hawkins.
Haha thank you so much! ♥️ That makes me happy to hear. I’m never sure if people ever watch multiple episodes or just one from their favorite singer and move on 😛
Best singer in this millenia by far. No doubt about it. Americans dont understand his greatness.cause they stuck in their own bubble. Dont see his greatness. Best in the world ever
I would love to see a video on Anthony Kiedis from Red Hot Chili Peppers, Till Lindemann from Rammstein, or Maynard James Keenan from Tool and A Perfect Circle. All are very underrated vocalists.
I’m dying to know what you think of Emily Armstrong as the new singer for Linkin Park. While I’m glad they’re keeping the band alive, I just think she’s no where near the caliber of Chester for vocal prowess. It sounds like she covers up her lack of power with screaming, from what I’ve heard.
