Two comments: (1) If you measure the OP41 with calipers , it actually checks in at 39.5mm, so only a hair bigger than the OP39 (which measures in at a true 39mm). If the watch dimensions are gonna be the main basis for your review, please do the bare minimum of due diligence before posting. (2) The statement that the new 3230 movement is only "imperceptibly better" than the old 3130 is just wild. Between the improved shock resistance, magnetic field resistance, temperature insensitivity, and vastly increased power reserve (70 hrs vs 48 hrs!), it really is leagues ahead of the old one.

Can someone help please? Ive been fortunate enough to own a few high end watches. There's always a missing link. Literally. Nearly ALL of them have an Achilles heel. The point and method the strap attaches to the watch itself, the pins. Ive had many watches fall off my wrist from these pins coming undone or breaking. Can anyone suggest a watch where this doesn't or will not happen? Ive had a nice watch fall onto the floor on a few occasions. Thanks.
Nope, it s ugly. I can t imagine wear this color at work, for business standing it s not good so far. A nice Blue moon Seiko Présage is such nicer, but not the same price!
What's with all the Rolex bashing?? It's been all over the watch community lately.. They still make good fucking watches let's not forget that! And 41mm still looks great on your wrist in this video, no need to complain. Plus there is a youtube video where some guy measures the new 41mm OP and it turns out that it's only like 0,5mm bigger than the OP39. So it's just 41 on paper, in reality it's way smaller
Most of us were indeed expecting a review yet the video was as usual nice. I think there are more than a few differences between 39 and 41 like indices, logo position, bracelet clasp, movement, etc.,?? Not sure if it’s worth considering. You could have at least spoken about the lacquer dial. You did manage to break the heart of some of the other soft spoken pro-Rolex reviewers out there with your metaphors!, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Amen bud. They need to bring them put in 43 next
Two comments:
(1) If you measure the OP41 with calipers , it actually checks in at 39.5mm, so only a hair bigger than the OP39 (which measures in at a true 39mm).
I feel the same thing with 36 mm watches, I think 36 mm is just perfect for everyone, anytime and everywhere.
MAKE 36 MM GREAT AGAIN 😁
Yes, 36 mm is king.
Agreed. Dress watches should never be as big as 41mm.
Abdul R Watches just start working out your wrist and making them bigger
@@cityslickeroutdoors8306 o.O say wut
sausagemclovin do wrist curls until you can run a 42mm on your wrist
The aftermarket rolex vintage watches with replacement dials are super popular online...this is them trying to capture that market
These watches are impossible to get and sell way over list on the secondary. Can’t say that for any of Richemont’s brands
You got that right M Tbone. Interesting marketing strategy for a reseller that makes most of its sales from Rolex.
@@orangehand7929 Ummm, unfortunately very few, if at all, even Vacheron, Richemont brands are doing well. Rolex knows what they are doing. www.hodinkee.com/articles/coronavirus-impact-on-watch-industry-richemont-sales
Don't be mistaken guys, it's not Rolex that they are taking the piss out of.
I agree 39mm is the perfect size. 36mm watches are too small and 41mm are too big.
I think it has been a nice move to make it larger, as they also make a 36 mm that to me is even nicer size than 39!
Agree 💯
I absolutely love my Pagani Design PD-1690, Oyster Perpetual homage in orange, 40mm, Seiko NH35A, 42h Power reserve and Sapphire Glass. I regulated it to be +8spd. All less than £50 on AliExpress choice sale around 1st of every month. OP is so symmetrical and I feel so happy and calm whenever I look at the dial. Absolutely timeless design. So
I feel like the red dial would look pretty good on a black leather strap tbh
U color blond homie
I feel like the red dial would look pretty good on a SOYBOY!
A manual winding Oyster is a bit of a contradiction. The auto allows you to leave the crown shut, so the gasket doesn’t get extra wear
When I read the title, I thought you were going to talk about the hideous dial colors.
By the way, you're a funny guy. Love your commentary.
Thought that too, there quite hideous xD
The guy talking is not the hands holding the watch! I just think that's weird all those hand gestures are nothing but a dude sitting there pretending to be presenting the watch!
@@NathanChisholm041 nope, same guy!
@@watchfinder lol I was just teasing!
@@watchfinder Hello Alan. How's the QI team doing.
Please give review on Seiko SPB165J1..🙏🙏.. and suggest me best seiko presage watch please.
Excellent writeup! One if your best. Thank you! I really hope they bring back the OP39 in a few years.
I see you! Watchfinder Guy @5:08 - Also nice polish on the bezel in previous Rolex models you would've looked like a Picasso :)
Wow. I don't think I've ever heard our narrator be this acerbic, sardonic and downright post-modern.
Watchfinder is owned by the Richemont group so obviously they won’t be objective
If these watches have such high precision then how come @3:04 the Minute hand is off by a few degrees (when the second hand reaches top position)?
you set the minute hand yourself.
41 is perfect for the dive pieces like the new sub, 39 for the OP like the explorer 1 mk 2 👌🏼
The 41actually measures 39.5 and has a new movement which may be why it is slightly larger
Personally love the 41mm. If I’m going to wear a watch I want it to stand out a little. Nice video.
Well that's probably because you're actual man size like myself. The problem is manlets like watches too and though they're not real men they still count as people and I care about them.
U want a big watch? Get an invicta. It’s like wearing a wall clock
Any plans for a 4K camera? :)
I like the 41mm size and whimsical colours. Rolex quality, ruggedness, and real life usability in a fun, light hearted package. Seems like a win.
As a fan of Porsche, your analogy made perfect sense.
I like them both including the larger size.
When I can't sleep, and I mean this is the nicest way possible, I put on these videos on the background. Its the perfect bedtime story, with that great background music and the most calming voice on the internet. Can't say enough good things about this channel, keep it up!
damn the yellow one looks lowkey sick, people just haters
New measures are almost the same in both 39/41mm models. You should read/watch real sizes comparison.
this range just reminds me of the legal case when Rolex bullied a small California company in last year,
Who?
Care to explain?
bingo..
Care to elaborate? I'd love to hear this.
I had always been considering Rolex OP small to its actual size, then saw a youtube where it was made clear that OP39’s actual diameter was around 37.8 whereas 39.3-4 for the OP41..
Great vid, as usuual. Sadly, one is more likely to find an alien civilzation than a steel sports at an AD.
Thanks.
My 2 Cents: both colors are just off.. they really look like knock offs.. making my stomach turn.. YUK! You guys lile these colors?
Nope, it s ugly. I can t imagine wear this color at work, for business standing it s not good so far. A nice Blue moon Seiko Présage is such nicer, but not the same price!
Yep. I really do.
I actually do
Yes, in fact I really like all of them!
Never underestimate the contagion that is poor taste!
The a
AD in my country has a Rodhium dial 39 OP they did not sell ...they ask 7k for it.
What u guys think? Good price? I tought retail was less.
Love my 41mm green dialled OP, nice watch at MSRP!! Good value with the new Sub movement!!
I got one too 💪 🍀
What's with all the Rolex bashing?? It's been all over the watch community lately.. They still make good fucking watches let's not forget that! And 41mm still looks great on your wrist in this video, no need to complain. Plus there is a youtube video where some guy measures the new 41mm OP and it turns out that it's only like 0,5mm bigger than the OP39. So it's just 41 on paper, in reality it's way smaller
Watching this now, it's interesting that these watches are commanding well over retail, especially the more far-out colours.
Arena red tip tronic 97 base-model. Thank you kindly.
Anyone paying over retail for an op is crazy or dumb.
in my country, we even get a discount.
I like the dial colours but it's a shame they beefed up the sizes on the new releases especially the sub
They are beautiful timepiece however becomes over rated with assholes perpetuating their price especially in the secondary market.
They look pretty ordinary next to a grand seiko, or king seiko,
@@SeagullWaterPurifier then buy a seiko and stfu.
I tried one 41mm datejust, its waaaay too big
Looks like a high quality Mumbai special
High quality?
Most of us were indeed expecting a review yet the video was as usual nice. I think there are more than a few differences between 39 and 41 like indices, logo position, bracelet clasp, movement, etc.,?? Not sure if it’s worth considering. You could have at least spoken about the lacquer dial. You did manage to break the heart of some of the other soft spoken pro-Rolex reviewers out there with your metaphors!, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.
They should have kept the white dial OP in the line up.
In my opinion there should almost always be a white dial option.
Hmmm. Isn‘t that very much depending on the individual wrist size?
