Randy!!!! you saved the day for me. I hadn't used my Pfaff 7530 in over a decade & had to refamiliarize myself with its workings. I was following the manuals' bobbin winding info, said to put the thread under the little silver square & to continue straight across/behind round spring disk, & in front of disk on way to the thread. Just kept getting loops. So I tried your way & it wound beautifully! Great walk through with visuals, Blessings to you my friend!

Dang Randy, that thing would make me tired just winding the bobbin. I’m sure owners of that machine thank you for covering all the tricks of the trade…. Haha!

You’d be surprised how many times an improperly wound bobbin causes a malfunction.
Sometimes it’s a little bit confusing and challenging for some folks.
Those of us who are just a bit older than 28 are especially susceptible. 😎

Just sold my modern computerized Pfaff passport 2.0 made in Taiwan. It’s just not same when sewing on my Singer 301 or Bernina 730 record.

You could use the damaged thread for basting.

Looks nice, BUT, I trust my Kenmore 158-1941 to not burn out any circuit boards, servo motors, etc. Plus, no plastic internal parts. How can you go wrong?

True. I wouldn’t take this machine to my apocalypse bug out location for sure. It has a shelf life that is a fraction of your awesome Kenmore. 👍🏼

Hi, I have a pfaff 7530. The needle mechanism doesn't disengage when I wind the bobbin. The wheel releases . Is it harmful to machine ?
