Hey Trish, PLEASE keep this instructional video on uTube. I purchased my “7550” on Ebay, many years ago. It’s still my “go to” and favorite machine. As I’ve aged I often need a “ refresher” on how to use the zig zag and patterns😬. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and time😀! Mary🍀
My Pfaff 7550 (second hand) is still my go 2 machine 4 basic sewing😀. Thank U 4 the time you've put in2 this tutorial. Rewatch it when 👁 need a "reminder".
Threading this machine is troublesome for me. I cannot get the thread to hook behind '31'' directly before threading the needle as it says to do p. 26 Pfaff Creative 7550 Instruction manual. You do not emphasize it on this video. Please comment on rectifying this issue for me. Thank you.
No, I gave it to my niece. I am, however, interested in purchasing another machine as a backup... my daily driver crashed right after I sent this one off!
Hi N.P.R. Did you get an answer to your question? I have had this problem when bobbin thread gets tangled below the needle plate. You may have to raise plate as Instruction book page 157. After cleaning under plate you may have to manually turn wheel to free up.
Wow, I thought it was pretty clear. You may not have liked to see my arm to the side but it was clear enough for most people. Too bad it didn’t help you. There are probably other videos you can sift through to get answers. Or you can do your own video to help other people once you get proficient at sewing. You will have to get someone to help take and edit the video so you aren’t trying to do it all yourself like I did. Good luck.

what happened to your sewing machine that crashed
are you selling this machine
At around 1:40, it looks like you turned the handwheel the wrong way (away from you).
Does this machine use AA batteries?
no its electric only
I still can’t get it 😢I can’t see what you’re even doing
I can't see... her arms are in the way :-( This is a great vid otherwise.
