I’ve had this machine since 2000 and I had no idea it had all these wonderful and very helpful features. My manual didn’t even come close to being this thorough and good! Thank you.
Thank you soooo much for the tutorial. I've got a Pfaff 7530, which I bought in the 90's for quilting but haven't touched it in over a decade. Seems I forgot how to get around some of the decorative stitches & you both helped me figure it out. It's made even simpler now, as yours shows pictures, I have to refer to the book or the inside top of machine, which is fine, it's a beautiful machine and the stitches are perfectly consistant! Blessings to you both!
This video is almost older than I am! But this is one of the things I absolutely love about sewing! Even though there’s so much new tech and tools, the basics are still the same. Plus, many of these features on this Pfaff are still used today. It’s amazing, and because of this, it’s fun to sew with different generations. We can all learn from each other!
Thank you for posting this video. I've had my 7570 since 1998 and it is still my go-to machine (I also have 2 Berninas and a Brother semi-industrial). Purchased it at Sewing Machine Exchange in Tampa. Didn't know anything about "computerized" sewing machines except that it was the brand that Nancy Zieman used. But, wow did I get lucky. As a sewing teacher, I get to play with a lot of machines. Nothing else has made me want to give up my 7570. This vid highlighted new festures that I didn't know about or didn't remember from my dealer training. I still love my 7570 so much.
I had to giggle at the “90” style and slang . I have the creative 7530 Quilt and craft pro.bought used and love it. The 7570 is close to my machine so it’s been helpful.
Haha....I also have the 7530, bought it in the 90's for $1,900.!! Made in Germany, all metal inside, love it, but haven't used in over a decade & forgot how to access different stitches, this video helped me through. Solid machine & sews beautifully. So glad to learn the 7550 & 70 are just like ours! Blessings.
I have got this machine used last year .I have manual and other book .But no idea how to use it .I am just using the straight stich .Thanks a lot for showing all the features of this beautiful machine .
I bought mine at the fair many years ago and loved quilting with it. I even had our business logo put on a couple of embroidery cards by the pfaff company in Germany. (At $300.00 per card) I have another 22 cards I purchased also, just as much invested in cards practically as the machine costed!
I’m not sure if this will be seen but I’ll ask anyway! I’m dearly trying to program a stitch that’s basically a combo between 01 and 12. I would like the stitch to go down, up, down, right, left (or vice versa if mirrored) then repeat. I love the blanket/appliqué stitch but I would love to see the bordering line thicker. My mom had it programmed into her 7570 years ago, but the battery died and everything was lost. She can’t remember how it was done and I’ve spent hours trying to figure it out. These videos have been so helpful and I feel like I’m almost there but can’t get it quite right! Do you have any advice?
Hello! Thank you for posting this. I scanned the entire video several times and couldn't find the place where these experts explain bobbin-winding and placement. Might anyone know where that time-mark is in this video? Just got one of these machines from a yard sale for a couple hundred bucks. Great machine so far. Had it tuned up. I think it's missing a some stuff, but it's still a great machine just to have, even if I don't have all the pieces or the embroidery stuff. I'm here for the basics. Thank you again!
It is at 4:55. Unfortunately, his hand obstructs the area you need to loop the thread. Loop it in the metal clip and then the button tension. then round the bobbin. There is also a volume II video that shows you can wind ribbons in the bobbin for special sewing.
Is there a video that shows how to use the design cards? I just spent two hours and finally got one decent letter...I need guidance on tension, backing, bobbin, etc.
I have two pfaff 7550. Problems! One will not sew, I bought another foot pedal makes no difference. It will turn on but will not sew. The second machine lights flashed a second. Will not turn on. It does not need new batteries it does not new need a new lightbulb. Any ideas on if these machines can even get parts to be repaired in the US.? It makes me so sad. I love this machine!
The 7570 uses 9033p bobbins. Search Amazon for "TFBOY 50 Piece Clear Bobbins 9033P - Pfaff", you can get 50 for $8.99. They are not Pfaff brand, but seem to e just as nice as my genuine Pfaff bobbins. There are metal Pfaff bobbins, which will also work, and will provide a bit more room for extra thread. However, the downside is the low bobbin monitor will not work with metal bobbins because the sensor won't be able to see through the metal, as opposed to the clear plastic bobbins.
@@PfaffPfantom And be careful, because I received the wrong ones the first time. Make sure they're the TFBOY 50 and are for Pfaff, not some other machine. Some suppliers think they're interchangeable. They are not.The difference is a tiny nub on the inside of the cylinder, which will not allow you to even wind the bobbin on a Pfaff. I found out the hard way. :-.( $$
I’m writing to let you know how to change the needle position on your PFAFF 7570. Once you have selected your desired stitch pattern (straight or zigzag stitch etc.) Tap the stitch key again and the stitch details will be highlighted on the display. Needle positions are moved with the keys 7, 8, and 9 for left, center and right respectively. Use the “” to move the needle one position at a time. See directions in manual on the bottom of page 46. Hope this helps. Stephanie
I have a Pfaff smart sewing machine. It is computerized. Can you tell me or put me in touch with someone who could tell me? The machine will sew a few stitches and then beeps and the screen shows that the thread is broken and it is not. Thank you for any help that you can give.
Does anyone know where I can get the software for the computer for the 7570 embroidery machine? I have the software but it’s on a floppy disk that came with my machine. It’s needed to put designs on the empty designer card.
Hi all! Could you tell me the name of the part for a PFAFF 7570 that the foot pedal cord plugs into the inside of the machine? The end of the cord is male, single prong that plugs into the female part inside the machine. I borrowed machine from my neighbor and the cord continuously falls off the plug in part. Thank you in advance. On other machines is called a terminal dox, but not called this for the PFAFF.
The triple-stretch straight stitch is pattern number 01. If you want a slightly stretchy single straight stitch, select the basic zig zag, but set the width to 0.5. This will create a "wobble stitch" that stretches.
Post-2005 Pfaff machines are basically Vikings with dual feed. They really have nothing in common with the older German-made models, and the company has changed ownership several times since as well.

I’ve been happily sewing and working embroidery on this model since 1998. I learned something new about my machine by watching this video. Thank you!

Cherish that machine. It was "German designed and manufactured".. Now they are made in China !!!!

These kinds of high end machine were existent even in 1996. That's amazing.
PFAFF actually began making these types of computerized machines in 1983 with the Creative 1469 model.
