  • In this video, I explain exactly how to hit a draw with your driver. I go over why its better to hit a draw than a fade or a slice with driver, the 3 things you need to try to do to encourage a draw shot, and then my favourite drill that will get you hitting a draw every time.
Please check out my other videos on different golf shots or golf techniques that might help your game! I also do tour player swing analysis videos so you can learn from the best golfers in the world.

I draw well the ball without all these frills.Right foot a little bit back so I have a close stance, I strenght a bit my grip, my body aims right of the target while the club head at the target. The ball starts straight and then turns slightly letf.I use a driver with 13.5 loft which is ideal for drawing the ball ( more loft it closes the club head )

This is far to complex for the club golfer.
The answer is, [1 Take your normal address of the ball]. 2[ Your direction of setup is to the right of the fairway] 3 The driver club face must point towards where you want the ball to finish] 4 [Your swing must be as per your setup].
Why this works, your connection of the ball will now create the ball to spin/rotate right to left, because of the face of the club.
As the ball leaves the face of the club the ball speed is to fast for the ball action to turn, the ball starts to draw at the top of the flight, when the ball speed slows down. EG Tennis a top spin shot [its the rotation of the ball that effects the action of the ball.
This for the beginner works every time. It also feels like your naturel swing. [Simple]

Works every time, except when it doesn't. This is a bad idea for average golfers. Good way to develop a pull hook, but hey, you do you!

@@jrbackhousegolf C'mon mate you know what I'm talking about. If by doing this an amateur becomes semi-straight, then great. Most don't understand the most basic concepts, so I don't imagine this being a fix for the vast majority. Thats all I'm saying

A slice is a sign of a player who's just not that good. Insulting a large percentage of golfers possibly explains why you have so few subscribers
