It's a swing lots of juniors have that if they get good at it never change. It produces good speed through the ball, but you need REALLY good hands to hit that way.

You commented on the ‘underhand release’; she appears to keep her trail shoulder lower and it stays behind her spine after contact until arms are at last parallel. In some pro swings it appears the trail shoulder comes forward earlier after contact. Which should we imitate?

Thanks for all the tips here, Jack. I have been cursed with the dreaded fat shot most of my life in golf . Lost count of the so-called antidotes I've tried out and lost faith with. I sense I am not swaying away from the ball so there's another technical fault that has become embedded in my game somewhere.

Great little video clip JR. Sums my iron play up in about 8.09 minutes. Three key swing thoughts and not being overloaded with technical information which too many golf pros do in my opinion. I'll certainly be working on this down on the practice ground. Cheers, and keep em coming.
