First successful dangle of the year! What better way to kick off the season than slamming them at me and my father's favorite spot. Camera angles certainly weren't the best (I'm a little rusty) but it was a kick bass day to say the least!
Assuming this is private or is it a public spot that backs up to some property?
It is private. I normally announce where I am at and in most cases if I don't it usually means it's private or a secret spot I'm not quite ready to give away 😎
@@sonsofthedangle6240 it looks like a gem, all the major places I grew up on are now non accessible sadly so I need to find some more places in our state. That first catch was gorgeous man. Glad to see last couple vids pop up.
@@sovoutlaw5931 it definitely is. Very fortunate to have access to it for the last 20 + years. There are definitely plenty out there. If you are into smallmouth at all, I can tell you the paulinskill river has some monsters. Swim jigs and small buzzbaits would be the way to go. I have also seen some monster largies come out of there as well.
@@sonsofthedangle6240 Might have to check it out, grew up same way as you for the most part in regards to fishing. 99.99% bank fishing, although I've always been bass. Think i've gone maybe once or twice in my life for cats and went for trout like once. Might have to catch you one of these times on the water. Need a nice day of some largemouths.
