@@sonsofthedangle6240 it looks like a gem, all the major places I grew up on are now non accessible sadly so I need to find some more places in our state. That first catch was gorgeous man. Glad to see last couple vids pop up.

@@sovoutlaw5931 it definitely is. Very fortunate to have access to it for the last 20 + years. There are definitely plenty out there. If you are into smallmouth at all, I can tell you the paulinskill river has some monsters. Swim jigs and small buzzbaits would be the way to go. I have also seen some monster largies come out of there as well.

@@sonsofthedangle6240 Might have to check it out, grew up same way as you for the most part in regards to fishing. 99.99% bank fishing, although I've always been bass. Think i've gone maybe once or twice in my life for cats and went for trout like once. Might have to catch you one of these times on the water. Need a nice day of some largemouths.

I'm willing to pay that much for a bait made by a well known company that has proved time and time again that they are worth the extra money. No I have not used the freak nor have I heard of the brand. Another example would be the patriot, a $10 bait but doesn't perform like one. Had someone comment and point out that a strike king walking bait isn't even that much. Still haven't used it, could be phenomenal but I have my reasons to be skeptical.

I agree 100% I've found a few places exactly like that. Normally I move around and try different spots but this was the 3rd time trying to complete this particular slam and I was pretty much over it at that point lol. So far I've found that the combo of Super K Jigs and Geecrack products make the best bluegill/sunny imitations 👍

I agree 100%. The pandemic certainly didn't help matters. Most places I could normally go fish off shore turned into tourist traps.

@@sonsofthedangle6240 Yeah it's been very unfortunate, one place I used to go had to close down due to not being able to afford the insurance on the place anymore and they had to drain it, it sucked because they had some 5/6 pounders loaded up.

I guess I see things a little differently. My most successful video as of right now is about a JDM product. So in my eyes at least I'm doing something right. Plus I don't really see myself staying in one spot for the rest of my fishing career. My dreams are a little bigger than that. If I'm not mistaken I mention more than just pads, in some scenarios there's actually a little bit of everything. Summer is right around the corner and I'd be happy to show you.

Yes sir. See I was told the exact same thing about the 5 inch savage gear bat. Second time throwing that I caught my 6.2lb PB. Don't get me wrong it definitely won't be something I'll be throwing all the time but I think I'll take my chances 😎😂

I would definitely try solar flare or the green pumpkin/chart. Tacklewarehouse.com just recently got the solar flare color, grab them while you can. Carolinafishingtackle.com along with thehookuptackle.com may have them as well.

Good choice! Yeah I would definitely have to say in my opinion for the time of year along with the dirty water the 3.8" in solar flare would be the best way to go.

Zappu makes hooks made for the bellows gill. I would recommend either 3/O or 4/O. I believe all three places I mentioned in my previous comment have them as well.
