Can't believe I only just now found this channel, I love it! Maybe mention this video in your next Sony review on your modern channel? Thanks for all the great content over the years!
@@ravenoftheredsky you're very welcome, glad you found my second channel!
What is the name of the song you used for the montage?
@@WilliamSundvor it's from David Cutter music
There's something about the video footage it produces that I really love. Characteristically low-res and choppy, but still clear and colourful. Potentially useful for a kind of artistic montage sequence? I remember in the film 'Thank You For Smoking', there's a montage sequence of travelling through LA, shot on a 2005 video-capable phone, and getting a cool, authentic, low-res look like that would be difficult without original hardware I think
Yeah! At first it looks awful, but then you see a kind of retro appeal to it... I was surprised how good the audio was when I spoke to camera outside...
Loving the retro review! the nostalgia these cameras possess is crazy 📸
Absolutely! That's what I love about these weird cameras from that first decade of digital!
I bought the Cybershot DSC P-150 when new back in '04 and recently dug it out, purchased new batteries, and been really enjoying the whole "digicam" craze and getting more into photography. Glad I still had it. I love the form factor and that the once very pricey accessories are now dirt cheap, like the NIB Sony Cyberstation dock and charger! Thanks for the great informative videos!!!
You're welcome, glad you're enjoying the digicam dream!
Finally. A camera that I had Gordon. I loved this camera, coming from a 1.3mpx Kodak Easyshare. Thanks for the reviews that you bring to the community you most certainly brought back some good memories to me.
You're very welcome, I had to reach one of your own cameras at some point! I've got a Kodak DC120 to do soon.
Brilliant video! I thoroughly enjoy these retro reviews! Thanks so much for putting these video on! Looking forward to the next!
You're very welcome! Make sure you're subscribed!
Gosh, I love your channel so much! I am starting my digicam collection and I absolutely love watching your reviews!
Thanks! Many more to come
Please do more of this. I am into vintage digicams and your reviews are awesome!
Thankyou! Hope you get a chance to watch more of my videos!
recently got myself a dsc-v1. These old cybershots really are nostalgic, from the way they look to the quality of the images
I remember reviewing that one!
Great review Gordon, remember selling these in my fathers shop haha. Can't wait for the F707 review too 🙂
Thank you so much for this trip down memory lane! The P1 was my first digital camera, followed by the P10 and the P100 after that. The first real pocketable camera. I took it everywhere with me even if I had no plans to take pictures. Remember, it was the time before mobile phones. I can safely say the P1 triggered my love for photography. Before I liked it, but found it often to cumbersome shooting on film. No instant results, shops that developed the rolls wrong, shooting with the wrong ASA film etcetera. The P1 felt like a miracle machine that did away with all the shortcomings and frustration I experienced with the old cameras. Yes the P1 was not the first digital camera by a mile, but it was my first and although I do not have one anymore, it still is a camera that gives me very happy memories whenever it comes up somewhere. So again, thank you very much for bringing this lovely camera back into the spotlight again with this video. 😊
You're very welcome! You're right, the best camera is the one you have with you, and the P series were never left at home!
The P1 is up there with one of my most needed in my (vintage) digicam collection. Such an advanced camera for its time, considering it's from 2000. To the untrained eye, the camera would look no older than probably 2002~2004. Great review as always, Gordon!
Thanks!
@@DinoBytes Much appreciated, I love your channel so much as a digicam collector. :)
@@trinitron384 you're very welcome!
Keep 'em coming Gordon, another great review and dang, that camera looks brand new. Sony really got that design right, or at least got a nice looking, unique style that seems so typical of their finest designs, like their top end portable MD recorders that their engineering team clearly took immense pride in making.
Thanks! I find the first model in any of Sony's series is always built really well.
So excited to have a new Dino Bytes video. Have been waiting eagerly. Thank you.
Sorry for the long wait! I'll try to do them more often!
Having that kind of video back then was pretty incredible. It’s crazy how for we’ve come in turns of video recording and quality in cameras! I wonder how video specs will be like in the next 20 years.
I love these review, It shows how far and advance the tech came for digital camera. Funny how Sony even had a Top panel display back then. Lol. Thanks Gordon. Really appreciate what you do for us camera nerds.
Glad you liked it! Yes, lots of cameras back then had top screens for info as I think people still didn't trust the colour ones on the back, or that they consumed too much battery...
Tech sure has changed in 22 years! Coincidentally I found a couple of digital cameras last week that I'd forgotten I'd saved from being thrown away years ago; a Canon A95 as well as a Sony F505. Still like the look of the latter and have ordered a battery and memory stick adapter to see if I can get it back to life.
The F505 is a favourite and I've now completed my own collection of the F series for some future videos! They all became more sophisticated over time, but the 505 and 505V were so small compared to the later ones. I've found about 9 out of 10 old cameras power up fine when given a new battery pack.
Hey Gordon I just watch your chat with my fellow Canadian Chris at DP Review weird cameras and heard about this channel. Yeah so you got a new subscriber. I’m a big fan of older digital cameras having recently bought the Olympus XZ-1. Looking forward to more on this channel. These older cameras are much more affordable and can be a lot of fun.
Thanks for taking the time to check out my channel here, hope you'll enjoy what I have got in store!
2001 and I remember picking one of these up at the local electronics store to take pictures for my graduation. The pictures came out about as well as you can expect (horrific, but then looking back so my was hair and the music I listened to so fair is fair). This review has brought a smile to my face. :)
Glad you found it! Hope you get a chance to watch some of my other videos here!
Great video, especially enjoyed the video samples as they reminded me of early 2000s music videos :D
Maybe I should make one with it!
@@DinoBytes ha, I would very much like to see that!
side by side samples comparison, such a great review! Thank you
You're very welcome!
This channel has a surprising production quality for only ~5K subscribers. Well done!
Thankyou! I've been running a separate channel about new cameras under my name for 16 years, so that's given me some practice!
@@DinoBytes Ah, I just checked it out
Got 2 of the Sony DSC-T7's which I absolutely love as well as the DSC-F717 which is one of my best 'go to' cameras for 'run and gun' shooting, these old cameras can still deliver. Great video, thanks for sharing.
Nice! I'm working on my 717 review right now!
Great video as always! I really enjoy these retro reviews. Conversely, this video seems to be from the future, as you have set the camera clock to 29.4.2022 😁
Hah! You got me there!
@@DinoBytes Time travel does explain how you manage to get brand new looking cameras
@@Dedubya- Haha yeah that might explain that 😂
Thanks Gordon, brought back memories! I had a P1 in 2001, I used it for about four years. I loved it. It was small enough to take anywhere. I had it for about four years. I remember not being happy with the battery, I had an extra one, they were expensive and deteriorated quickly. I moved on to a Sony W17, it took rechargeable AA batteries and was smaller. Maybe you will show that one soon? 🙂
Yeah the battery life wasn't great! I'm not sure I remember the W17, although I did review other Sonys with the same 7Mpixel (I think) sensor. Each company released so many different compacts back then, it seems mad now.
After 22 years the photos looks better and more natural than from newest flagship phones.
there's definitely a look to them...
Wow, I would love to see a re-review of the Sony T-1, which was my first digital camera. Great work!
Thanks! I may well do the T1 in the future, I certainly remember reviewing it!
The P1 had great style and functionality. I got a Cybershot P92 in 2003 and used it for several years at home and during travels. Sony had a plastic adapter for tele and wide angle lenses which worked surprisingly well. I took it and the additional lenses along to trips to Mexico and the Caribbean in 2004 and 2005 where its portability was a big plus over relatively heavy and more expensive DSLR options at the time.
I travelled so much with my S70, I could only dream of the smaller P1!
Wonderful review! I still have the very first digital camera our family got thanks to my mum. The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-P200 (2004) which still functions quite well and while the battery has lasts less than half as much, it still does what I ask of it. (Infact my channel banner is made from an image taken by this same P200) Those memory sticks had a version of them in use in their original PlayStation Portables too. (Another device I still have and functions well too.)
Glad you're still using it!
Finally, a vlogging camera that Casey from Camera Conspiracies would approve of... 🤣
I know I've mentioned this in comments on your older videos, but a P series was my first proper digital camera, after a really terrible Polaroid ION 230. I loved that DSC-P92, it's what really got me into photography. I know it's still kicking around here somewhere...
Can't wait for that F series video!
I can't wait to make the F series videos! I'll start with the F505 but will probably wait until I have one of ALL of them in working order. I'm missing the 505V and a working F717.
@@DinoBytes Shame you're on the wrong side of the pond! I have an F717 I could share, just has some spots in the front group from the optical glue failing. Shipping would make it way too expensive to send, though. :(
@@ziginox I'll just keep buying used F717s until I get one that works!
I had a DSC-P73 for about 10 years that someone gave me after they had no more use for it. It was a solid, well built little camera that took decent photos. The video from it was only 480p but it recorded the best sounding audio in the video (even though it was mono) of any camera I owned over the years, barely any background hiss or noise. I really enjoyed that little camera, actually used it right up until a few months ago when it suddenly and sadly, wouldn't detect memory cards any more.
Yeah the audio was way better than it should be!
Love these “reviews” of early digital cameras and own a fair few myself. Would love to see some prints made with these old relics. Nice looking images require far fewer megapixels than most people realize….
I used to make a lot of 5x7in prints from the S70 which had the same sensor and they looked great. 10x8 was a bit of a stretch, but just about managed.
loving these bytes i still have my DSC-P10 (5mp) and watching this prompted me to get it out and charge the batteries along with a whole heap of memory cards from back in the day, it was last used in 2004 England v France in which we lost taking photos of a group of us in the pub and movies. looks kinda silly along side a 90D, 5D mkIII & an R6 :) well i tested it and it still works like a dream.
Nice one!
These pictures look surprisingly good.
A retro review of the Olympus E-1 would be fantastic Gordon :-)
Yep, definitely want to do that one. Got some more Olympus models coming soon...
i imagine this would not fall within the focus of this channel, but in 2007 when I was just starting college, I had a DXG Roadster Personal Media Center. It was a 5mp fixed focal length (though it did have a digital zoom) digital camera. But it also functioned as an mp3 player, a personal video player, it had some simple games on it, and it even had an av input so it could be used to digitize analogue video. I don't think it did any of these things very well, but I was always so fascinated by the number of uses it had. It did a lot of things that we would now just use a smart phone to do, but back then smart phones were very new and not everyone had one yet. Anyway, it would be cool to see someone talk about one of those in a video.
Sounds cool! There were some brilliant PDA type devices before phones took over,
The P1. My first digital camera. Loved this thing 🤩
I hope I did it justice!
@@DinoBytes Absolutly. It served me well for a few years. I replaced it with a DSC-W12 when the sensor was broken. Both cameras started to give an ugly line (dead pixles?) after a few years. That´s when I switched to Canon 300D as my first DSLR. 🙂
@@fotografi4fun ah, we all have a 300D in our history somewhere!
my first serius attempt in digital photography was the Kodak CX7430 in 2005. I really liked that camera a lot :)
Amazing that the motors in that still work after 22 years
And sound the same as in 2000!
It's almost hard to believe how old this camera is, it wouldn't look out of place in use today. Makes me realise how fast the years have gone by! 🙁
Great video! I have an old P7 - my first digital camera. Loved it, and I’ve been a Sony guy ever since. P7 - a100 - a65 - a7iii.
Nice timeline!
Thx! I’m hoping the next will be the a7rv, if it’s what I hope it turns out to be.
Nice! :)
Have a good week!
Both are beautiful cam
I got a close relative of this camera for graduation in 2002 (p51, it seems). I might still have it, but the sensor gave out at a certain point (known defect). It came with a 16 MB memory stick and took photos up to 1600 * 1200.
Love the video! Do you have any chance to try cybershot dsc w series? especially the 220 one!
Thanks! I will try and make one on the W series, but in the meantime, here's one I made on the W200 when it first came out! ruclips.net/video/s_3Esn7DwBc/видео.html
I love this! Will there be a pt2?
There will be many more videos about old cameras, yes! Please subscribe!
Excellent video, it's great to see how well the earliest digital cameras hold up by todays standards and learn their history, I never thought until recently back in 2000 digital cameras offered such decent looking images and come as sleek as the P1. Just a bit of an observation I noticed at 5:19 there's a fingerprint smudge on the lens which makes me wonder if that made some of your images a bit softer than the other camera on comparison or did you clean it before shooting? Anyhow I was recently given a P72 (made in 2003) and am using it alongside my Canon EOS200D II DSLR for a bit of fun and comparison, it can do 640x480 video and runs of 2x AA batteries. Have to say the 320x240 video on the P1 is still very watchable comparison to the woeful Nokia 6230 phone videos with a quality of a 128x96 resolution videos that are extremely compressed on top of that and are literally unwatchable lol.
I had a DSC-P50 which looked very similar. But it only had 2.1 megapixels. Used the very expensive Sony memory sticks and burned through AA batteries in minutes. I still have the camera and it still works. And I do have photos on my hard drive I took with it 20 years ago.
Glad it still works!
I remember this one well. A lot of my friends had it. With Sony's own memory sticks.
I hope they let you try it!
We need to investigate who’s finger print is on the lens? Nice review , I have the P150- lovely
this video kills my one working hour. I jumped into the old HHD with my photos from this Cyber-shot, Olympus c-160 and Canon PowerShot a85. Nostalgic
I absolutely loved this camera. I remember someone else having one at a party and plugging it in and commenting on this fancy new Bluetooth thingamajig which I had no clue about. And it made these cool looking gifs. I don't know what it was about it but I obsessed about it so much that I was willing to fork out a thousand bucks for it. I was almost crushed when someone I had over one night ripped me off and took the camera. Seriously crushed. Looking back now after just purchasing a former $2,000 Olympus micro four thirds camera for 300 bucks and He seeing it going for 40 bucks on eBay, well kind of puts things in perspective. 😊
hola a todos!, yo tengo este mismo modelo de cámara y, quisiera saber si les ha pasado, en la opción de cámara o video pareciera no querer encender por alguna extraña razón, saben si hay manera de solucionarlo?
at 3:57 when you’re showing the memory card, does it have to be that exact one? i have that same camera and i haven’t been able to even turn it on because it didn’t come with a memory stick. i didn’t know which one it needed so i bought some random one at the store and it didn’t fit. does it have to be that same one you have in the video? thanks!
Look for the original full-size Memory Sticks, which are about the size of sticks of chewing gum - any memory size will do, but you will need this physical shape. All of mine are either ones I bought 20 years ago, or ones that have come with cameras I've bought second hand.
hello! i have the DSC P100 that uses the same OG Memory Stick. I was wondering if anyone has any links to a memory stick reader so I can access the photos from the stick from my PC? Thank you!
Use the camera as a USB card reader

What cable is required to charge it? I got hold of a p100, but i can't find a cable anywhere.. :(
The cable to charge it is part of the AC adapter - you'll need that unit.
hey how did you transfer the photos from the cybershot memory stick to your computer. Im having troubles with that right now
connect the USB cable and drag them out
Hi I recently bought sony dsc p1. How did you solve issue with transfering photos from camera to PC ? My PC cant recognize the camera if i use usb cable.
Hmm, that's odd, was your memory stick formatted by the camera and does it have image son there? It should just work as a standard USB drive when connected to a PC or Mac, but if not, you could always look into a separate USB Memory Stick card reader. I'd see if you can get it working on another computer first though as it should be ok.
Did you manage to get it fixed coz I got the same problem
I had a Sony DSC-FX77. The design is ground-breaking with the rotating top panel! Selfie photography before it was mainstream. Same as the DSC-F77 but the X has Built in Bluetooth module. Too bad I never came near anything else Bluetooth enabled in the 5 years I had the camera :D
They did do some pretty innovative stuff in the early days!
Have you ever faced any issues reading the memory stick with your lap/desktop? I've recently got a DSC P73 and though I've got the USB cable and everything, it still won't read...got a memory stick reader to see if plugging the card right in would help but still, nothing!
Hmmm, it worked fine on mine! Is the stick ok? Does it work ok in the camera? Have you tried connecting it to other computers / laptops?
how did you export the pictures?? we have the same type of memory stick but i don't have any idea on how to copy the photos to my pc and cp 😭😭
I used the camera as a card reader with a USB cable. Didn't I mention this in the video?
The P1 was my first digital camera back when it was launched and is long gone, but I actually bought a used one just for fun a few month ago :)
Nice one! Does it still work? Hope this video gave you happy old and new memories!
It works fine but just like you I had to buy a new battery. I received a complete kit, even with the underwater housing and a neoprene carrying bag! Wouldn't trust the underwater housing though, at least not without replacing the rubber sealing.
@@ThomasGehlhaus yeah, the seals may have deteriorated, but that's still a nice bundle. How much did you pay for it, and also a new battery?
I paid £ 13.99 for the whole kit! I probably paid more for the new battery, don't remember...
@@ThomasGehlhaus nice buy! Mine was more, but in v good condition in a box and importantly for me, with an AC charger, so all I needed was a new battery to get it - and my 505 - powered up again!
How do you import the media from the camera to the computer??
You connect the USB cable between the camera and the computer. Didn't I mention that?
Nice colours and the video was probably the clearest 320p I have seen. I have bought a P1 this evening :) Oh, I am not suffering from insomnia, I am in Canada.
Ha ha, nice one! Hope it brings you lots of joy!
@@DinoBytes 2 months on and I now have two P1s. Neither seems to work. It may be a battery thing as I only have one, but I am making offers on eBay for two more tonight. I must say it is starting to feel like throwing good money...If all else fails I can send you a box and all the gubbings for free to make yours look as good as new :)
@@moviebod are they failing to power-up or accept charge? That's almost certainly just a battery problem, as the originals all fail after a few years. If they all have the original Sony batteries, I'd recommend just buying a replacement third party lithium ion pack - they sell them on eBay. You can charge them in the camera using an AC adapter which hopefully came with one of your cameras.
@@DinoBytes I think you are right, but I refuse to pay over £20.00 for a battery, so I have ordered two Lithium Ion 3.7V 14430 4/5AA 650mAh Rechargeable Batteries, which is what is inside a battery pack for £8.85 and some flux and tinned copper strip (hmm a further £8.05) so I can solder them together and hopefully not blow myself up in the process! Thankfully I have a soldering iron and solder and do have the adapter. Also, I guess if the first P1 works, I can sell it to recoup some of the cost.
@@moviebod let me know how you get on! I'm always frustrated when I have to buy a replacement battery for 15-20, but I try to buy models which can be used across multiple bodies. For example the P1 battery works in the F505 which I also have.
hello, i have an old one that could still work, problem is it won't turn on even with new batteries and no old photos. when i try it makes a beeping sound and the power light and memory card light would light up. i can actually go on the "set up" dial/menu and fix the settings but i cant shoot photos or videos when i turn the dial on shoot.. do you know what the problem is? how can i fix it? thank you
Could be a problem with the lens extending mechanism?
@@Vanessa-ko5em it would probably cost you more to fix it than to find a used one in working condition, but feel free to ask around!
Hi! how do you transfer photos/files thru my phone from the Memory? is it thru USB port?
Yes, you'll need a cable with a Mini USB not Micro USB plug for the camera. Not sure if it'll work on a phone, but it works on a computer
Hii how did you transfer the pictures in P1 to your computer? I have the Sony Dsc P31
I just used a USB cable to connect it.
Just bought a p93 after reviewing my old digital files and finding many had been take with this camera. Also bought a Sony F717 just for fun. My first digital camera 60d, 2002 dor our school photo business
Hope you get your F717 working... I've had issues with Four of them! Brilliant camera though.
My family definitely had one of those!
But do they still have it...?
Still have a couple of those chewing gum shaped memory cards for sure.
9:07 Feels like I'm watching one of those adult swim bumpers lol
Where do you find a memory stick I can’t find any for sale
You could try eBay for a stick or to buy a spare or second camera that comes with one. Most of the Sony cameras I've bought on eBay came with a stick.
I won one at a local short-film festival in Turin (2nd prize), I think it was in the year 2000. I’m sure it’s still at home in Italy somewhere, I should ask my mum if she can find it. 😊
Definitely! And congrats on winning that prize too - nice to see you on my little channel here too Mathieu, hope all is well.
My first digital camera was the Casio QV-10, which had a swiveling lens for selfies. It was less than one MP in resolution, though. I bought mine in 1997.
Ah the QV10, Casios first digital as I recall and one I am definitely trying to source for a future video!
How can i transfer pictures from the sony memory stick to my phone or mac book
Use the camera as a USB card reader

I have lots more videos coming soon!
My first digital camera was Fujifilm DS-7. What a hassle it was to get those pictures to PC thru the serial port.
I know, it was terrible!
Hi, could I ask how you transfer pictures from the cybershot P1 to your laptop? I am completley new to cameras and got my hands on one of these! thanks :)
Easy! Just get a Mini (not Micro) USB cable, then connect the camera direct to your computer. When you switch it on, it should present itself as a drive with the photos inside!
@@DinoBytes Thank you! For some reason my PC is saying driver unavailable when i try to connect the camera. I have the latest sony driver downloaded so i am unsure why it will not work!
@@thelillypreston it may be your version of Windows. Try another computer if you can, or maybe a Mac, even at an Apple store.

Ahhh yes, the Sony DSC-P series. We bought a P10 in 2004 and used it for about 7 years. The P10 had the same styling as the P1 but in a thinner body. Dinky little thing it was. It had a 5MP CCD sensor, 3x optical zoom, 1.5" rear screen, completely useless OVF, and it saved files onto Sony's Memory Stick. The 5MP sensor produced some nice images in good light, but it did not have much dynamic range to work with when exposing for the highlights.
I had a few of the successors. Still have a couple 8x10 prints hanging on the wall from it
Once you got to 4mp or especially 5mp or above, they could print nicely at 10x8.
When this came out I thought it was something from the future! Especially after using a Mavica that took 3.5” discs!
They made some brilliant cameras back then that still feel futuristic today! Hope you saw my Mavica review too!
I have the p-120 I absolutely love it would never sell it batteries last well memory cards a bit small but they're dirt cheep now
Hello! I have the Song DSC-P2 and my family bought it back in the 2000s however I cannot find a charger or a battery so it does not work:( I really want to use it! If you happen to know where I can get the charger or battery please let me know I have checked Amazon but nothing :(
Sony**
@@sofiasilva8283 look at your battery type and search for the model name and replacement - you'll find a replacement no problem, but make sure you get one with a charger.
i have a cybershot one generation behind this, 3.2 megapixels with no interface on top. have you had any luck with the magic gate memory sticks? not the pros, just a plain memory stick. cannot for the life of me find any adapters!! have some 20 year old pictures on mine.
Sony made so many different types of sticks. MG just referred to copy protection, mostly for music players and as far as I remember, didn't make a difference to cameras. So a stick with magicgate should work in any camera. If the card is small, a bit like SD, then it is a memory stick DUO, and you'll need a DUO adapter to work in these older cameras. You can get them on ebay or amazon second hand. If its bigger than 128gb though, older cameras won't recognise it.
How did you get the photos to your computer because my laptop is not detecting the camera via usb connection
Hmmm, it worked fine on my Mac, maybe try a different computer? Make sure the camera is also turned on!
@@DinoBytes and do you know how long I’m supposed to charge the camera for because it won’t power on if I unplug the charger even though it’s been charging for hours
@@sparda7606 sounds like the battery is bad. Is it the original Sony one? if so, it sounds like it's not accepting charge.
hi! can you charge this through a usb cable?
Sadly not, you need the charger designed for it
Hello! Do you think it can read 4GB memory?
Good question. I don't know as I don't have a 4GB card to test it BUT I suspect it won't. It might let you use the card, but only part of it, or it may not even let you format it at all.
I have a Sony cyber shot W530 and it has 14.1 megapixels. But it can’t zoom in on things while recording a video.
Not many old cameras could zoom while filming as it would go out of focus
What type of memory stick does it take?
Full size
Can you retro review the Nikon D700? The first prosumer FF Nikon DSLR released back in 2008. Nice to see how much sensor tech had advanced.
I'm sticking to products no later than around 2005 for now since I already published reviews of later models as they came out - for example, my D700 review is here, although it is a bit rough! ruclips.net/video/9IvsMlcuZ1Y/видео.html
@@DinoBytes Thanks for the video link Gordon! Hey I got another idea, how about the Nikon D200 DSLR released in 2005. I wonder how its APS-C CCD sensor can stack up today.
@@slr7075 I can go further back! Nikon are sending me their first DSLR, the D1, soon, and I also own a D1X which I am currently retesting!
i bought a used unit p9 the problem is don't know if i must change the battery or the unit itself has a problem.I tried to connect to usb port to computer and wall socket but still it doesn't turn on
The USB isn't used for charging on these old cameras. You'll need a specific AC adapter that charges the battery inside the camera using the special plug on it, as I show in the video.
@@DinoBytes thanks for clarification i though the usb function can charge the camera lol
@@nelsona9381 sadly not! It was a while before that became a thing.
i have Sony Cyber-shot DSC-P1 and i dont know how to see picture because I think the camera is not working anymore please help me😢
Does it power up at all? If not, maybe the battery is dead. Most old batteries do end up broken.
@@DinoBytes thanks sir alot💛
My parents had a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T3 and it had the same issue present in 08:07 I remember my photos in London with blown out purple highlights, I thought our camera was broken but who knows.
Yeah, it might be a saturated sensor blooming...
Could you please review the DSC-F707 and/or the F828 and the DSC-R1
I got good news for you! I'm going to do ALL of them, including the F505, F505V, F707, F717, F828 and R1!
Thanks! I am jealous. I have the F707 and R1, although I want the f717 and the f828
@@sneegrzcarmelo349 I picked up most of them within a few weeks all on eBay! But every single F717 I buy is broken! I'm on my fourth broken one now. But I have managed to buy a working 505, 707, 828 and R1.
Could you also review some old Sony Alphas (A300, etc.)
The P200 was my first digital camera :) great iq for the time
Not bad. I remember thinking about buying this camera a long ago, but I kept looking for something with AA batteries and SD card... so I would still take Casio QV-R40 (2003) over this :) It will be interesting one for review..
Yep, I need to do some Casios. Sony had the U series, powered by 2 x AAAs
