Hi Bob, Jenny and pups, lovely site and walks and what views and very interesting to see the old quarry wagons, the pups really enjoyed themselves. thank you for sharing xx
Great video again Bob 🙂 That's one we will be visiting when we head back up to Yellowcraig from the midlands next spring.. take it easy my friend when you are doing all that walking.🙂
If you are still at the Wharfedale site and enjoy a pork pie go to the garage at Threshfield; there is a proper butchers based inside and they have a fantastic selection of flavours. The butchers is Weatherheads and their main shop is in Pately Bridge. Love your videos, have fun and stay safe x
What a gorgeous camp site with that lovely walk around the quarry, poppy and Tara both seemed to like that walk, bless them,Jenny’s chilli looked delicious!!😊🐶🐶🍽🍷
We were up there a few weeks ago, and often do as the walks are really good. Locals told us the quarry was been used in lock down for illegal raves and people swimming in the water so had to be fully closed off and security patrolled.
We are currently at Wharfdale and the Gamekeepers Inn is now dog friendly. They are allowed in the garden but also in the bar and the Snug area. Not many tables in the Snug so best to book which is easy to do online. It’s not a bad restaurant (had better had worse).
Glad I managed to get in on your video as well as our Motorhome even if it was for a couple of seconds, the wife says I’m now famous 😂😂 hope to see you all again sometime 🤙
That’s beautiful countryside up there, even at this time of year with inclement weather it’s spectacular & you haven’t got the summer crowds. How are you finding the fuel consumption with the Ford & that box against your own van ? Your driving seems to be flowing very smooth, could be that there’s less traffic to slow you up or you’ve taken to driving an auto like a pro 😎😎.
Just looking back at some of your Yorkshire videos here and wondering how come You didn't go direct via Burnsall? Or is the road a bit narrow? Great videos of this area though! Cheers both....
Hi Bob, nice bit of kit can’t wait for your full assessment. Can I ask what in your opinion are the pros and cons of owning a 3 lt engine motorhome compared to a 2.2 ish Many thanks anthony
Afraid I don't know, never had a 3 litre. Most of the newer diesel engines are between 2 and 2.3 litres and probably produce more power and fewer emissions than the older 3 litre and are more easily tweaked with the electronics.
There's a lot more rattles in that van when you're driving Bob than in your own van, Poppy & Tara looked like they enjoyed that walk, Jenny took the sensible idea & stayed in the heat!
We don't do a lot of cooking, but surely a crock pot would need 240v? Unless you use an invertor for 240v. Also there is a danger of flying crock pots in the event of a sudden stop. Nice idea a meal when you arrive though.
We’re doing NC 500 next year in a hired van , as much as I would love to own my own van …..we’re not financially able to do that at the moment.. doesn’t mean I’m any less able to safely drive a van .
What great site for walking with or without a four legged friend x

It was very nice.
Least your making the most of the camp sites that are open in November. Great idea!
Definitely!

It sounds like you had a bit of a workout Bob. Jenny that chilli looked very good.

We did have meal in there, quite enjoyed it.
Like to hear more about the BAILEY please compared to your usual vehicle.
Sorry, but Bailey have asked me not to compare to other manufacturers on this tour. I will try and judge it on it's own merits.
Glad I managed to get in on your video as well as our Motorhome even if it was for a couple of seconds, the wife says I’m now famous 😂😂 hope to see you all again sometime 🤙
Good stuff!
Quite nippy with that automatic Ford Power shift gearbox
Yes, I have to careful with the loud pedal.

The fuel consumption is 26.5 mpg. I'm liking the auto box a lot.
I traveled several times to the UK in September/ October, nice but chilly and no crowds

Because we did a Click n Collect in Skipton.
Hi Bob & Jenny, another great video, The Game Keepers do allow dogs we were there about 3 weeks ago with our 2 Lhasa,s the food is excellent too.
Thanks, they didn't a couple of years ago.

Hi Bob and Jenny. What do you think of the Ford transit compared to your fiat. Not the Motorhome part just the cab and chassis. Cheers col.
I've been asked by Bailey not to make comparisons with other manufacturers. That said, I've found the Ford cab a revelation.
What's the fuel consumption like compared to your manual motorhome?
It's around the same, 26.5 mpg.
There's a lot more rattles in that van when you're driving Bob than in your own van, Poppy & Tara looked like they enjoyed that walk, Jenny took the sensible idea & stayed in the heat!
I thought it was pretty quiet on the road, but I'll discuss that on the full review.
Hi Bob and Jenny been watching these. How do you find the MPG on the Bailey with being a auto to your van ?
Great vlogs as always.
Could you use an insta pot or crock pot sitting in the sink while you are traveling?
,

Ironic, potholes on a quarry road once owned by Tarmac

Of course not, as long as you make allowances for the extra width, length, height and weight over a car if you've never driven one before.

It's around 26.5mpg.
