Lovely, wow treacherous cycling 😂. Loved the cat attempting to stow away. Poppy would have been upset. Such a cute puppy ❤. Thanks for sharing. The pub looks nice. I would like to stay at the campsite in the summer, preferably without flooding 😊 xxx
Poppy is the same as our dogs. Anywhere they have been before they can smell their own scent and start to create. Its amazing. We travelled from Switzerland and they only started to create as we turned into our street.
That's amazing that you were pitched on the very same pitch as we did in August 2024. I had trouble with water tap if I remember as it leaked quite badly and the warden had to sort the leak out. Great for satellite reception though. We love the walk around the lake.
Another excellent informative video Bob, we live locally to Ferry meadows and try and stay at least once a year, but I have never seen it flooded like this before. Also, we were parked just up from you this weekend, it was nice to see you out and about and have the chance to say morning!
Hi Bob and Jenny a great video as ever and love the new sat bag looks like a good system to include aerial views and the features I have a setup similar to your built in in the Ducato in my Peugeot it works well doesn’t always take the most logical route Love the site and looks a good place to stay and can see why you like it great facilities and places you can explore and it looks clean ideal for a winter getaway! All the best to you both and poppy Daniel
Thanks for another great video! I may be in the minority here but the first thing I ever do with a new car or driving gadget is switch off all the electronic driver aids I can. I've never been able to stand all those unnecessary bleeps and bloops. Even my satnav is always switched to silent mode, I much prefer to just glance at it occasionally to see when the next turn is. Am I odd or is there anyone else who agrees with me? 🙂
I’ve also got the Avtex Tourer 3 plus with the camera. I never drive the van without it being on now even if I don’t use the actual navigation. I also use either Google Maps or Magic Earth through Apple car play but never can trust them. A another question about how you level up with your air suspension. Once it’s level similar to what you did that looks to extreme is the van steady or does it still have movement when you are moving around in the van?
@@BobEarnshawMoHo yes hydraulic legs would eliminate any movement but that’s another £6k. My thoughts would be if the suspension was to the lowest or the highest there would be little movement. I guess that’s what you are experiencing. I have actually fitted the Alko Click legs at the rear they seem to work ok but they are a bit cumbersome having to get underneath the van.
Hi what are the yearly costs as I’d love to do what you guys do when we retire! Just need a figure so I can plan for retirement as I’ve still got 10 years before I can retire. Thank you
Last year we did this review covering four years costs of our previous motorhome. We haven’t had this one for a year yet so have only done a Campsite costs video. ruclips.net/video/1jEhpXb7tvw/видео.htmlsi=1uf3boh5096W8jA_

The other side of Ferry Meadows is nice in the summer. Mainly grass pitches.
Poppy is still looking very fit 11 years on, you obviously look after her very well 👍🏻
Thank you
Lovely site. So glad to see the bike tour, but stay out of flood waters! Thank you.
I didn't think it was they deep, but yes best to stay out if flood water, you never know what's underneath!

Poppy makes the noises whenever we arrive anywhere. She seems to know when we arrive.

Yes, we always enjoyed the lake walk. Not possible this time though.
Poppy is still very cute. Hoping to go here next year fingers crossed there is no flooding when we go. Take care Gill
Lovely video. Poppy is so cute, especially when sleeping♥️🐶🐶
Yes, I always wanted to give her a cuddle when she's sleeping 😄
That was a serious amount of water. You were braver than me to even attempt to go through the first one lol. Poppy is still very cute x
That was nice to see, I used to cycle to work through Ferry Meadows and up Ham Lane...back in the late 80's and early 90's! Still looks the same!
Thank you. It is a great park and a real asset for the city.

Thank you, nice to say hello!
Oh l liked Mrs Sagnaff,Poppy looked so tiny and fluffy, you both look well,
We still will call the Avtex Tourer Three Mrs Sat Nag, she just won't answer to that name now 😒

Excellent video Bob, as always. Thank you 🙏❤️
Lovely vlog - made us want to go back to ferry meadows again - we were worried you and your bike were going to get submerged at one point
Got my feet wet a bit 😋
I remember first time i went to Chatsworth house was a junior school trip, i wonder if the house will be done up for christmas?
lovely to see a teeny tiny Poppy. So cute. Who was the owner of the stowaway cat Bob. Did you ever find out? Safe travels. See you on the next.
No idea who the cat's owner was. It was looking for somewhere warm, though!
Thanks for another great video!

I prefer the occasional reminder. it keeps me alert.

There is still movement inside the motorhome when we move about, but not as much as before. If you want to stop that you need levelling jacks.

@micksparrow8214 Yes, I have a set of stands I can put underneath if needed.
Totally different in the summer. The pond area was thriving with people and bouncy castles etc. I have a video on my channel full_time_motorhome
Yes, we've been in the summer too, and it's very popular. The cafe was very busy.
