The dust on the back is due to the aerodynamics. There is the vacuum effect that the air circulates and the dust in the air work its magic. The other points suck as well
I'll field what I can about these issues since I have both an R/T and SRT 1st gen LXs. The A/C issue can either be low freon, which is common on Dual Zone climate systems given age or maintenance of the system, or a blend door actuator that is dead. As for the dust on the back, that is down to aerodynamics and really there isn't a way to get around that. Some people have had some luck doing a ground strip under the car that touches the road but other than installing a different wing that breaks up the air flow, which any company that did make wings for our cars are long since gone, then that can't be solved. The AUX input can be a simple add on module from iSimple or if you are handy you can tap into the SAT input 10-pin harness on the back and install your own plug. I have both a Mopar interface and iSimple and both work great if you can get it cheap. Dodge plastic are common for the era you can install either some other color panels from the junkyard, I'm not a fan of the "Light Slate" color Chrysler used for the SRT cars in the 300 it's no better. Two minor gripes concerning gas milage: You cannot tell me you brought this car as an exercise in hypermiling and groan about the possible EPA rated 18 MPG highway. That said with mods and cruising I've seen 25 MPG on the dash. All in all keep making videos! The early SRT8s are heading towards obscurity with the Scats and Hellcats running around.
The part you talk about the dirt build up on the back is common, my old srt8 charger done that, my cousin had a 6.4 Challenger and it did the samething
You live in Texas and drive a BLACK CAR and wonder why it gets hot? A combination of your A/C needing to be serviced and the fact that it’s a black car (black absorbs all the heat from the sun, none is reflected off as in a white or silver car) could be your culprit. I agree the interior materials are cheap. They should have gone with woods and metals, but chose plastics to keep it cheap and light. Gas mileage - it’s a Hemi V8, that’s the price you pay. Aux input - those older stereos didn’t often have aux inputs, they used cassette adapters in older pre-CD stereos, and CD stereos almost never had them. Buy an aftermarket stereo, problem solved. My wife has an ‘05 RT AWD Maggie, and loves it. LOVES it. Never diss a Hemi.
Keep your foot out of it and the mpg problem will get better. Invest in a California duster for your dust problem. Hard to keep a big black car cool in Houston in the summer. Wash your nasty ass before you drive it and that will help with your door panel issue. Hope this helps.
Yeah you can't afford this car sell it before you break something. Your first issue was gas lol really? what you think this was a smart car? I hate when kids get a hold of hard to find things....
@@StreetWagon713 i think what he is saying is there are 3,900 of those in the world and you dont seem to understand what a treasure a car like that can be to someone. I love putting gas in mine, i feel i get huge value out of driving a mean wagon. Its a sick ride
maybe your gas mileage would be better if you didn't floor it after ever tunnel you come across
Mikiel Largo Its too hard not to 🤣😂

Dodge is that cool friend who's super fun to hang out and party,
