Beautiful videos. Inspired me to give it a go. Just bought myself a new rod and booked a week on the south coast for a bit of piscatorial pleasure. One question, hook size? Any advice when going for the smaller species?

Thank you. Glad they inspire you. A size 14 down work for the minis. I always tell people fish small. If you don't catch go smaller. And smaller until you catch. Trust the process and you'll catch for sure

Thanks Tony. The rod is a Xesta Black Star Extra Tuned Solid Alternative. Reel is a Shimano Soare XR. Braid is Major Craft Dangan 6lb

Thanks. No this is a different one. I have two Extra Tuned rods. The short alternative is a shorter 5g that I use for the sea fishing. But the trout one is the Semi automatic which is a slightly longer 4g
