    Lovely video and some tidy fish too - I have major problems ID’ing goby species that I catch when we are down in Brixham even with a tank but it’s the chase and catch which is such brilliant fun. Please keep making more of theses great films.

      Thanks for reaching out. I'm terrible. The ones in brkxhm are mostly blacks and rock, can usually tell by the colouration on the tip of the dorsal fin. But take a pic and share to the UK Fish Identification group on facebook and the ladies and gents on there will help 😊

    Superb video and I recognize Dan's style of filming. I didn't know there were so many species of Goby.
    Do you have a link to where to get that viewing tank with mm measure?
    Love a species hunt!

      For the tanks go to japanjonnylerfer.bigcartel.com/ Thanks for watching and commenting, there are at least 2 more goby species you can get locally to me but are a little tougher and ive not managed either yet

    • @Howtotrickafish
      @Howtotrickafish  3 месяца назад

      It's all lures. None of this was on bait. Everything artificial.

    Great informative video. What size are thos tanago hooks in conventional UK sizes? The smallest I currently use is 18 and in windering how much smaller i need to go.

    • @Howtotrickafish
      @Howtotrickafish  6 месяцев назад +1

      Maybe half like a size 30 ISH...... I don't think there's anything this small available on the conventional market

      @Howtotrickafish  6 месяцев назад +1

      @@tommoore.8947 a size 26 will be fine for the 2 spots. But I'd honestly just buy them for how little you will use them. Only really need tanago for a handful of species
