Great video - thanks. I'm heading to Plymouth this weekend to take my son for his first LRF session. Any suggestions for spots that might produce? Cheers.
@@Howtotrickafish It was great, thanks. Headed to Mount Batten to find some deeper water and escape the Xmas lights switch on. Had a couple of pollock off the pier then three wrasse from over the railings on the way back tot he ferry. New rod and ds rig worked well and my son caught a few. Great result! Portsmouth in a couple of weeks...
Hi mate can you recommend some spots in Plymouth? About to order my first LRF rig and wondering where to start. I’m close to mount wise/mutton cove I think that popped up in the video near the end 😊
@ hi mate, I’d like to stick with the light rock and lure fishing, get a range of species as I’ve been in the Facebook group seeing the range people are pulling in. Going to get myself out tomorrow with the drop shot rig and see how I get on down mount wise with some scented lures along the walls once I’ve got abit more confidence I’ll plan on getting out to elphinstone, mount batten etc. definitely sticking with LRF. Your channels been very handy so far 👌🏻
@@rhysvince2070 happy to meet up sometime and show you around. Mountwise is a great place at nigh twitch a jigheads fished on the drop under the lights in front of the boat yard. Find me on Instagram/Facebook and message I'll help as much as I can
Sorry to bother you, I can't find the rod you mentioned anywhere, it's out of stock. Any other recommendations for a starter rod please? Very useful video Thankyou.

Excellent intro to LRF, thanks Lee and Dan!

You'll cast a lot easier or further if you fill your spool up properly, doesn't matter obviously for the boulder fishing 👍
Thanks. I don't actually use this reel. Was just testing it out as a low budget option.
My go to reels are backed with tape or mono before braid

You have 2 dozen videos with no bass being caught 🫡🤔🤣
I make videos fishing for all different species.
I do t film my bass sessions as the marks are special to a lot of people.
😂 ok
