- We are still picking away at the "Junkyard Roadster" traditional hotrod build. If you are new to the build, it is a 1931 Ford Model A roadster that spent the last 60 years hibernating in a damp basement.
In this video, I get the wheels cleaned up and painted, the spindles swapped out to the 32-34 style with new bushings and kingpins and get the front juice brakes fit up. The flathead V8 gets new waterpumps in preparation for the motor mounts. We are still picking away but time is running out quickly

Thanks for watching.
Great progress. And great tips for the rest of us.
Thanks for watching. Time is running out quickly.
That's a lot of good information.
Thank you.
Nice videos.👍What sealant did you use on the waterpump gaskets?
Thanks. I like to use gasket adhesive on most things. It can be messy but works well. Gasket shellac also works well
What year drums
I think the drums are 40-42.
Great attitude towards spending the least amount of money to cobble up parts and modify them to get the task done correctly. 👍
Thanks. I'm trying it do it as close to how it would have been done way back when.
