- Time was not on my side and I had to make a difficult last minute decision to abandon the Junkyard Roadster project and prep the coupe instead. The 1931 Model A coupe is pretty much road worthy but just needed a couple little finishing touches to make it race worthy. The regulations are fairly lenient since these cars are so slow but they still have to have some basic safety measures.
In this video, I will bring the coupe up to snuff and take it out for a quick test spin.
Don't worry, the Junkyard Roadster project will continue. Авто/Мото
Your car is just awesome... The wheels and stance, the understated chrome, everything.
Thank you. I definitely take the "less is more" approach when it comes to chrome and stainless.
Good call, there’s always next year. I love that black 31 “A”! 👍
Thank you. I was really hoping to be able to bring it this year but in the end, I'm sure it will turn out better taking the extra time on it.
Don't throw in the towel Mr. A--keep fighting the good fight and TAKE NO PRISONERS!!! You will prevail and be the coolest kid on the block!!!😎
Haha. Coolest kid on the block might be a stretch. I'm not giving up on it completely. I just couldn't get it done in time for the race.
Very nice car. I have a ‘29 I’m working on. I just recently missed the biggest car show in town because I haven’t finished the soft top for it yet, but next year, it’ll be complete.
Nice. I really like the 28-29 roadsters. It's tough working on a tight schedule. Things seldom go as smoothly or quickly as I expect them to. Thanks for watching.
Have fun!
It was a great time aside from the hurricane. I will have a couple videos on it coming out soon. Thanks for watching.
Fireball in the gas tank from a flask! Brilliant…never thought of that. Your stuff gets better and better. Enjoy following your work very much.
Thank you. Much appreciated. I keep some marvel mystery oil and fuel stabilizer in the flask and add half of it when I fill the tank.
