The 1 @1:50 time is running very rich. But it does sound healthy. Last one sounding healthy too. Flatheads are a great engine if not revved too high. Very dependable also but maint. is key. I had one in a 1950 Ford Crestliner 2 door. 3 on the tree. Cool old car and you could go anywhere with it in confidence.
80 mph. On gravel ? That '34 was the king then . That unmistakable throb. == Ford flathead v-8 helped Bonnie & Clyde get away! However that sound gave them away in the end. Ken. Building them them since '68
Nothing runs with less vibration than a flat head and with a good muffler can hardly be heard at idle. Many time I could not tell by listening or feeling if the engine in my 52 Ford was running.
I love that Ford V-8 sound. Nothing like it.
Their distinct sound was much NICER at the tailpipes.
@@olspanner of course.
The deep throaty rumble of the flat head V8 is amazing. Love it

Why would anyone want a fartcan on a 4-cylinder after hearing this symphony
