    Dr Kwon step drill! Love it! I practice the rope drill all of the time at home and it feels so good.
    But man every time I get to the course and try to use ground force in my swing I always end up loosing control of my club face.

    The amazing part of this video is the perfect ground clip you make while elevated at least an inch off the ground. That is what we hackers cannot do. The complication of this rhumba you are teaching securely unnecessary and confusing. Starting on the left side and pressing up with the left leg accomplished 95% of this. Your teaching is becoming more and more complicated and timing dependent.

      Welcome to golf.

    • @alexandermayer2026
      @alexandermayer2026 3 месяца назад

      @@BHJ7115 actually, what you are saying is “welcome to golf instruction”. The danger is getting a good tip and then marrying the instructor to be led down the rabbit hole. Hitting the ball before the ground is all that matters for 99% of us. Rocking on a board is almost guaranteed to make this more doubtful.

      Weight shift plays a major role in making ball first contact. If you don’t struggle with it then this video wouldn’t be helpful to you. Seems like you’re projecting yourself onto everyone else

    • @alexandermayer2026
      @alexandermayer2026 3 месяца назад

      @@adamhinkle5580 we are all projecting ourselves, aren’t we? It makes much more simple sense to rotate into your left side. Like Scheffler. To isolate a footwork pattern in no way guarantees the correct shift into the left side; it’s just a dance move. I really like this site. But lately, there is too much discussion of what next move begins before the last move was made. That is not teaching. That is reliance on the natural talent of the player and creates too much room for error. I teach tennis. This natural, loosely-goosey feel is what players want. It may come but only after hitting thousands of fundamentals-based reps.

    • @BHJ7115

      @alexandermayer2026 Your certainly entitled to your opinion. The fact is the weight shift, in my opinion, is the hardest thing to learn in golf. The rocker board is an effective way to illustrate these dynamic effects. Also this method of teaching is widely accepted by many top professional instructors. Good luck with your journey.
