"i don't think she's a nerd...nerd's parents normally love them." 💀
Another nerd whose parents didn't love them checking in.
Your hair is really cool.
John Denver died in a plane crash. It’s eerily fitting that they use his music as a signal for Death coming for them because they survived a plane crash.
Only movie that did. I thought we'd get some Buddy Holly or Lynnard Skin hard later for sure.
When I was a kid my mom and I were moving from Arizona to California. Along the way I got tired and hopped in the back to sleep. Not long after my mom screamed and I opened my eyes to a 4x8 drywall sheet coming through the windshield. A truck didn't tie it down and it frisbeed across the freeway. The corner of the drywall punched a hole the size of a grapefruit through the passenger seat where my heart would've been. Now I don't follow trucks. Tie your shit down!
literally the philosophy of anyone who's seen the second movie
Please tell me that truck driver (or whoever loaded that cargo) went to prison
@@ProtossWannabe1984 never found out who it was
If that's true, Jesus men, God Angel's protected you, your mom ok?
@@JRush374 truck drivers are scary when I was moving from Georgia to Minnesota a truck driver was speeding fast lucky my mom look at her mirror and quickly drive to the right but unfortunately the truck crash into the car in front of me
That's not a shower curtain. It's a cord for hanging wet laundry to dry.
Well, he's the mortician/coroner. Although, the fan theory is he's the living embodiment of Death Itself. No, those aren't spoilers.
He’s not just “the mortician” and it’s not a fan theory, he pretty much tells you who he is…
Lmao I just love how she tells Justin like if he can do or stop anything. Can never stop laughing 😂 love every reaction
J.D.= Jack Daniels
Also, the Rocky Mountain High song by John Denver was in the movie at least four times...
John Denver died in a plane crash.. the song was playing in the bathroom at the airport, it was playing on the radio that Todd unplugged in his bathroom, the teacher put the album on in her house and the French Street musician was playing it at the end
You need a counter for the "Justin!!!" Lol
For this series especially!
Their reactions are a lot of fun, but hearing "Justin!" as like a ward to bad mojo is wonderfully adorable (and no, I don't mean it's funny that Jane is scared). Cheers guys!
Yeah, an entire generation was terrified of driving behind trucks with long objects lie logs or pipes tied to them after this series. Although real logs don't actually bounce like they do in the movie.
It’s always good to see new channels watch these movies for the first time.
Fun facts i picked up:
• Much of the news footage shown is actual footage from the July 1996 explosion and crash of TWA Flight 800 off East Moriches, Long Island, New York. Not only does this film borrow footage of the crash of TWA Flight 800, it borrows other things as well. The flight was carrying a high school French club, it exploded suddenly and was investigated for a possible deliberate act causing the accident - first a bomb, then a surface to air missile. As with this film, it was ultimately decided that the crash was a result of mechanical failure (explosion in the central fuel tank).
•The story was originally going to be the concept for an episode of The X-Files, which was inspired by Sole Survivor in 1984. In this movie, a woman who was the sole survivor of a plane crash starts to be haunted by dead people that Death uses temporarily as vessels trying to kill her to correct its plan, and killing everyone who suspect about it.
•The numerous appearances of "180" in the film refer to the film's original title of "Flight 180". New Line decided to rename the film to "Final Destination" through fear of confusion of other films like Air Force One, or Con Air.
•287 people die in the Flight 180 disaster. In the real disaster, 230 people died on the plane, the 3rd deadliest aviation accident in U.S. History.
• Clear's cabin is the same cabin seen in Lake Placid.
• When Carter is driving to "take control", the train Alex sees out his window is number 747, which is the type of plane that exploded.
• After Terry dies, the bloodstain on Carter's face looks like the number "5". He is the fifth survivor to die, after Death skipped him earlier.
J.D. stands for jack daniels
youll never drive behind logtrucks again, after this series
Don’t drive behind any truck that has things held down 😅
You’ll never breathe again, after this series 😂
You could’ve at least waited for the actual movie smh
Spoiler
Amen. I saw one just the other day and quickly passed it
Carter's car in this is a '71 Chevy Nova. Dom's car in F&F is a '70 Dodge Charger. Same color, similar year, but not the same car.
I just graduated college and I have to thank you guys! I now have a degree in mortuary science so it’s a very ironic thing you guys reacted to this at this time! You are some of the most wholesome people I’ve ever seen on the internet! 😂 Thank you so much for doing what you do and being incredible human beings! ❤️
Congrats and " I'll see ya soon."
It's not a shower curtain, it's those retractable hangers strings for hanging wet towels.. Some hotels Ive been to have one of those..
Congrats for being the first reaction channel I’ve seen cover this movie who recognized actor Kerr Smith (Carter). He did have a recurring role on Dawson’s Creek. Also saw him in the films: Pressure, The Forsaken and My Bloody Valentine 3D. Not a huge celebrity or anything, although you’re still the first I ever saw to make a reference to his other work.
Yesss. It drives me crazy no one seems to recognize him. I wasn't even a huge fan of Dawson's Creek and I still knew him!
There’s another channel that acknowledges him too. Alanda Parker
@@GhostKyng Oh. Didn't know that. I'm subscribed to her as well. Will have to check that out.
in 2000 cell phones were rare. i think 2 kids had them out of my entire school
I was a sophomore in 2000 and about half of the kids in my high school had cell phones. Guess it depends where you lived
@@ericjace84 i live in the NE in the woods so yea... lol
I lived in maryland, I had one but it was very expensive an you got very few min.s to hour. Not worth the bragging of having a cell phone back then.
Yes quite rare and expensive, I guess some people were still a baby then to know.. lol
@@etiennebrownlee4071 that why in Scream it was such a shock to the audience when Sidney's boyfriend dropped the cell phone
he wasnt necessarily paranoid his whole like or the start of the plane, he was just getting feelings and then the premonition
You know you made a good movie when a whole generation of people refuse to go behind a lumber truck simply because of the movie 😂😂, I still refuse to drive behind one
Or if you grew up in the Pacific Northwest. You knew as a kid, not to do that. Or beside them. You pass them quickly
Similarly, I won't drive behind those trailers carrying twelve cars in stacks all chained to each other.
Y’all were STRES-SING in this movie! This messed me up as a kid. I was like if I go left or right at this turn will this set off a chain of events one day and lead to my death?!
Clear, her name is Clear Rivers
not Claire 😂
Clear😂😂😂😂😂 I don’t blame them what kind of name is clear? Might aswell name her Claire by that point
27:18 - 27:22 That teacher doesn't get irony. She survives a plane death, just to listen to a guy who died in a plane crash.
41:44 They couldn't have turned the power off. That looked like a main line. The only ones that would be able to turn off the power would have been the power company.
The 1 common bond in all these horror movies... Any parent introduced at the beginning are absolutely no help to their own children in the rest of the movie!!
Re-watch the scene AFTER the plane explodes from the terminal. Each person's reaction shows a background on how they die.
“… shhhh. You’ll wake the dead.”
-William Bludworth
The truck with logs is the next Final Destination 2 Movie!
Final Destination SJG: *During a horror movie marathon, Jane pummels JV!*
“…we don’t even like roller coasters.” 😏
Never thought I'd catch you guys watching this franchise.
@9:48 American Pie came out in 1999, just a year before;@14:43 I believe JD is Jack Daniels, a famous brand of whiskey.
A classic. I was scared flying after this for years after.
“JUSTINUHHHH”. lol 😂
The funny thing is after watching this movie, you immediately start to be aware of your surroundings every time
Without fail lol
Definitely watch the rest of the Final Destination series but also check out Wrong Turn(2003), House Of Wax(2005), Thirteen Ghosts(2001), The Texas Chainsaw Massacre(2003)(Remake), I Know What You Did Last Summer(1997), I Still Know What You Did Last Summer(1998), The Faculty(1998), Jeepers Creepers(2001), Jeepers Creepers 2(2003), and Saw(2004).
Great series. I do hope you guys watch the next movies. I always see something new and this time when Billy is watching the plane fly off the reflection of the plane goes across his face right where his head is later cut off. I can't believe I never noticed it before.
not for the shower curtain, it is a clothes drying line. They make them pretty strong, we have one in the basement.
They should never have deleted the scenes with Alex and Clear. It makes way more sense why she calls him baby. After the beach scene they actually make love and in another scene Clear finds out she’s pregnant
What ??
This series is wild. Definitely continue watching these.
Each of the deaths are forces of nature. Earth, wind, fire, water. Think of the show “Captain Planet” for those old enough. I never noticed this until recently. I found that interesting 😊
the movie theme/idea is so special, like no other...
It's funny how Stiffler will always be Stiffler no matter what movie he's in! Who doesn't love Stiffler!
So funny watching you mention EVERYTHING that could kill them 😂😂😂
Best agent/cop name ever : AGENT SHRECK
I am so glad you guys are watching my favorite series of horror movies! I am partial to FD 2, 3, and 5, but it is always fun to watch all of them!
I skipped my trip to NY after watching this movie 2 nights before the flight. It would be my first time ever on a plane. I was supposed to go in a group with friends, but phoned them to say I wasn't going. Lost my plane seat money etc.
I loved your reaction. The last time I watched final destination, I stayed in my room for 1 or 2 months avoiding sharp objects and watching were I stepped.
22:22 RIP, Tony Todd 🕯
24:49 that's why you should look both ways before crossing the street
I saw this movie in the theater when it first came out. It's a wild ride!
Me too.
Everyone jumped when Terri got hit by that bus lol
I love the Final Destination movies, I have all of them on DVD ❤
I'm sure I'm not the only one who's afraid to go on a plane because of this movie.
@rjtillman1986 were you terrified?
My butthole niece's class flew to Paris 3_years ago. I showed her this the day before. She was texting me "Go f**k yourself" right before takeoff😂😂😂
I'm scared of being on cruise ships because of the movie Poseidon.
@@austinrenteria I always been afraid of heights so I never got a plane as for truck I will always be afraid of the about a couple of months ago when me and my family moved from Georgia to Minnesota it was raining and a truck driver was speeding and luckily my mom look at the mirror and drive to the right unfortunately the truck crash to the car in front of me
@@austinrenteria I am mostly afraid of people driving these days I seen people drive on the opposite side of the lane or almost crash into other.
For me I been in 5 car accident because of people can't drive right and then sometimes when people ran you off the highway people just keep on driving and not help us
After this you are gonna be careful as hell at home 😆😆😆 and you'll stay away from trucks on the highway 😂😂
Highway to Hell....,Absolutely love this series of Movies. This one is the GOAT.
I saw this with my family on Starz Freeview Weekend and it scared the hell out of us! We did enjoy it very much.
It was originally going to be an episode of The X Files, where Mulder and Scully meet a teenager who has the ability to predict the deaths of people, but this was scrapped and become a standalone film instead.
You can subtly tell that Claire actually had a crush on Alex from the beginning and that is why she really left the plane when he did. Also, when he saved her, she called him baby.
Did you see deleted scenes
@@faaizahmed5773 nope
@@CheoWalker since this person can’t respond to you. I’ll tell you basically there’s a deleted scene were clear not CLAIR and Alex were having sex in the tree and later on clear took a pregnancy test she was pregnant with Alex‘s baby and then Alex dies so her and Carter were raising the baby together and dating and so the audience didn’t like the ending, so they just scratch it out and never ever released the delete scene
Drives me nuts how many people get her name wrong. Clear Rivers (hippie parents apparently)
@@clevelandcbi exactly like it’s not clear people. It’s clear like Clearwater like clear as in glass.
This is a bloody fun franchise. I hope you two react to them all. 👍
46:08 the big sign said 180 on it
"JUSTIN PLEASE! JUSTIN! JUSTIN!" 😂 (35:00)
Where’s the _final destination_ director/producers comment
He usually watches these reactions and comments
Teacher daughter was on the plane
JD is Jack Daniels
So you know - Carter is driving a Chevy nova. Dom drives a dodge charger
The bus driver from backstreet is a guy called sugar bear from starsky and hutch. I'll have to look up his real name.
Antonio Fargas
He's in a lot of Star Trek Next Generation episodes
JUSTIN!!! 😅😅😅
movie reminds us of death, there is no escape no matter how much you avoid it
I remember that one time in high school, my band director had to call out and the substitute teacher thought it would be a great idea to show us Final destination instead of the movie my director had prepared and, to this day, I am still scarred. I’m not sure which final destination it was but it took place in a racetrack.
That is the most Hollywood bully that ever bullied.
"Excuse me, stewardess? Can I have a bottle of water?"
Eavesdropping bully: "A bottle of water? Really? I'm gonna kick your ass!"
Love this movie, I love Devon Sawa as an actor
Death gets more creative as the movies progress smh
I thought the 3rd was the best out of all the 5 franchise imo and the man that plays candyman is Tony Todd you two should also do a reaction to devil and death sentence
Can't wait for Final Destitnation 2... the best one. It gave me 2 anxieties I have genuinely suffered from to this day. One of those is the one that has affected millenials the most.
Yep. The best part of the movies is figuring out how someones going to die. It's so good at teasing you. And of course guessing how horrific its going to be. The next movie though.... fan favorite. You will see why with the start of it. It very much made us never want to be close to a certain something.... no spoilers. lol. Jane if you read this, make sure JV is wearing kevlar gloves because you may crush his hand during the opening of the next movie. LOL ^_^
Candymans part is alway my favorite
Jd is jack daniels
Whiskey 14:39
Well done JV for spoiling the premise of the movie before the reveal. Great job 🙄
If you ever pay close attention to the bus and the train it has the same colors as the plane
I also hate squirrels. I've had a vendetta against them since the time they broke into my kitchen
JD is not steroids, it’s Jack Daniels.
Yes, please, do the whole series!
Absolutely Love that you guys reacted to this..
Love seeing Jane's reaction..
So fun.. Needed this tonight.. Thanks
Now you got to do the next one 😭😭 it’s only right🤣
Jane is constantly yelling for JV as if he could do something, or would, in the situations they are watching.
I honestly didn't like these movies past the opening death scenes to much because of the mouse trap feel to all the deaths being so drawn out as to what might kill them, but watching your reaction made me really enjoy that part of it lol. I can't wait to watch more of these with you guys.
Yeah, Devon Sawa in Casper was one of my first gay awakenings, so I had to watch this movie next, and at 9 I never wanted to ride a plane again.
Yall would be so on edge watching the 2nd one
I have a theory: what if the story overall is that a god decides to gift Alex Oracle ability and Hades the god of death gets angry and tries to "fix" everything by killing everyone that was supposed to die on that plane explosion...
Here to watch others go through stress trauma😊
Yeah so Part 2……………
7:18 er, different sections of the plane. 🤣
There have been real life instances of ppl that had planned flights but had premonitions or weird feelings about taking the flights and then changed their minds at the last minute and didn't board the flights, and the next thing you knew, the planes did crash.
You can kind of condition your body to go when you need it to. I outright refuse to sit on a public toilet, outside of sudden runs, so I eventually started going before I leave the house. Anytime I know I’m going somewhere, even if it’s a quick 15 minute run to the store, I always allow extra time before leaving because I end up having to go before I leave the house.
Don’t know about outright forcing it out when you don’t have to go though, that seems unhealthy. I think that can lead to hernias actually.
Awesome reaction of my favorite Final Destination movie!!!!!!!😊😊😊😊😊😊
Thank you for the fun fact about the main guy being Casper! I hate a huge crush on Casper as a kid lol and I've also seen this movie multiple times since it came out. It never clicked!
They go happy crazy with chain reactions
Trust me, burn time they’re ready to leave on their senior trip, you will be ready for them to go!!! Haha. Maybe not “go” this way, but away. grandmother of 7 here.
Well hell, now I’m afraid to get outta bed to use the bathroom, again! Happens every time lol. I was 12 when this came out & first saw it
after seeing y’alls reaction to the first death, i don’t think this is the movie series for y’all. it gets CRAZY 😅
You guys should definitely react to the original candyman film 1992
also i never noticed til this reaction but in the pool with clear u can see a skull silhouette
I hope you do the second film as well. I saw it in theaters, and it still affects me to this day. You’ll understand the first time you hit the freeway after watching the film.
