Something I learnt from one of your video's and a couple of others is about the very early slat grilled willy's the front seats had that cut out in the middle of the top of the frames just like what you have on these seats your wrapping! First thing I spotted there! Crazy when you start to learn about these ww2 vehicles and your eye then always catches Something you would never have noticed before! Love it!
Great video. I bought the full seat cover set , front/back for my M38A, no padding or spring. The canvas is outstanding, the fit was perfect and the smell....wonderful. They have been in use for a year now of weekend driving and are wearing like iron. I also purchased the top, also a perfect fit. Highly recommended. Tom
I did this just a couple of weeks ago. The Weebee seat cushions are very nice, as is the hardware. So nice that I ordered their strap kit and just as pleased.
Another great presentation, Scott. I wonder if anyone will say they DON'T like the smell of canvass! As far as punching the holes through the canvass with an awl. I did mine with a standard nail, 1/8" dia which was heated to glowing in a propane torch. Makes a perfect hole that won't ever fray.
That looks really good, so much of the canvas available uses the wrong weave, but these are just like the originals, nice to see you are still timing your screw slots, although I always align the slots with the longitudal axis of the frame. I can imagine the smell from that canvas! Stay safe! Chris B.

Thank you for this video. They shot the details very well and it helped me understand how to make the seat correctly. 👍
