Hello Team G503 Restoring A 1943 Willys MB Army Jeep! Wow! Mr. Schiller is a good dancer! I like this! Great video! Good installation work! An interesting wall behind you, there are many interesting things. Funny, the baseball bat with the wire, is Lucille Mr. Nigan, from the series The Walking Dead !? Thank you!
Good job Scott. Something interesting on mine. Out in the field, they had to use what was available for repairs. My strap is a belt from someones uniform. It’s stretched, but it still works. I would replace it but I find the history interesting, like who gave up their pants belt to hold down their jerry can?
Nice little video! I noticed you installed this on a CJ. I like that you did this and I would like the jerry can and spare mounted up on my CJ tailgate when I get there. What bracket did you use to mount the spare? Perhaps I missed a video and you covered this. Appreciate your videos Scott!
Jeff Krete the CJ2A has been done for a while. You can buy spacers that fit the brackets like on an M38. I think a lot of folks would like to do this as well. I’ll shoot a vid about how I did it on the 2A in the near future 👍
Hi I'm interested in seeing how you mounted the spare wheel holder on the tail gate to if it,s possible. How far out did you space the jerry can holder?

Thanks. Getting ready to install the strap on my M38. If you grab your groin it will improve your rapping. Thanks for the fun. :-)
😮🤣🤣
Scott, I noticed in the background a Kennedy tool box. I have one and got it many years ago. I paid ~ $35.00 for it.

On the 43 mb, or the CJ2A?

CJSB tail gate....
Looks like an exact repro except for the rivets... I have an original, rivets were 2 piece copper, I cant find that size anywhere...
Is the strap long enough for adding a water bucket?
nieuportflyer yes👍
I’ll post a pic in the community section of the channel👍
