Fantastic build. Hopefully anyone recreating this knows to thoroughly wash out any fuel out of the jerry can or else they’ll be riding their angle grinder into low earth orbit.
Really appreciate you sharing this one Laura!
Hahaha 😂
I like the way you are always looking at items and seeing what other people can't and then seeing you go thru the steps to make it a reality. Good video Laura. Thanks.
I'm sure you've heard this often enough, but you come up with some trippy stuff. It's a lot of fun to watch you create unexpected things and it's inspiring. Thank you for helping to jump start our brains into thinking off the beaten path.
The rocket can stove, love it! And it will fit in a jerry can holder on the outside of the vehicle, very cool idea
Another fun, post-apocalyptic project! I like how you maintained the jerry can shape and got a fully-functional stove out the other side. Great video, Laura!!
When ever there is a camper / cooker project, I just like to think that Laura is quietly solving problems for homeless, one at a time.
Again amazed at the creativity and your welding skills. Plus now add in the cooking. Time for Laura Kampf cookbook with all your stoves 🤔😋
That would be fun! I made a really good scrambled egg in a wok. Haha
Great job! I am impressed!!
o god...you are king of metal work........greetings from croatia
I always have that moment when I finally where you are going. This time It was almost at the end.
It's cool that you can see the stove inside the Jerry Can.
I'm confused, Laura - at what point when making this am I meant to "LET GLUE DRY"?
LET WELD DRY
@@Korvar Let weld cool?
Let paint dry
A wire welder is like hot glue for steel.
That is one badass steampunk stove.
Great work. 👍🏼😊
Laura I cried watching you cutting up & welding a 1984 vintage Nato gas can. They sell for $90 to $130 . Still a cool project, you are quite clever! Watching from Payson, Utah, USA.
I just wait for the Laura smile! No matter what you do, I am in awe. Oh, and the smile😘
All of your fire related projects are fantastic! I fell in love with that tiny chimney.
That spout chimney is on point.
Smudo sightings: None. Are you kidding? Temperature is in the single Celsius digits right now. Smudo is vacationing in sunny Greece, cashing in on his new Instagram fame as a dog show judge, and macking on the lady Cretan Hounds.
You have a brilliant mind, Laura Kampf.
Laura makes excellent builds. But her music in the background is awesome!
You are so talented Laura!
I think that’s the best one yet, great idea
I don't know what is most impressive: your ability to recycle in an amazing stove or the skill to prepare such special potatoes looking like very tasteful !!! 😉
Ich hab mal wieder die Premiere verpennt, weil ich in meiner eigenen Werkstatt versackt bin. Dafür sind jetzt 4 Fahrräder fertig und ich kann mir dieses Video auch so noch unendlich oft geben.
Mega Arbeit, Laura - mal wieder
Absolute work of art!
I wouldn’t make 90% of what you make. I watch any way because of your creativity and the fact that I get to see your process. I learn so much from you!
It has an apocalyptic feel that I like.

@@ttos3093 Way ahead of you 😀
Was it the 1984?
Absolutely GENIUS !!!
Really digging the 90's smooth jazz soundtrack on this one. Also, I really want to try my hand at making a gas can stove now! Thanks, Laura!
Laura, you are consistently inspirational. I love the way you think.
Laura- It is official you are a pyromaniac! HaHa! This is like the 500th or so thing you have made for burning or cooking! Love watching my weekly making fix!!! Cheers, Steve your fan from Utah, USA!
Sweet music. Very nice project!
Can we call this the Jerry Kampf? :) I love it!
Yes!
Ideal when you go Kampfing!
@@laurakampf What was your first project that really started your quest as a maker? Not the first RUclips upload, but the first projoect that really set you on your path?
And when you're not allowed to make a Kampfire.
@@Viniter yeah, a kampf fire in a can. ;)
"Brat Kartoffeln in eine tank Kanister" einfach TOP! ❤️😎👍 Wie immer Laura!
Das war echt gut! 👍🏻❤
I can see it now....the next merch shirts: "Hard to sand... Easy to burn"
Or "Let glue burn". 😂
Angle grinder and spray paint cover a multitude of welding flaws.
@@catgynt9148 "A grinder and paint makes me the welder I ain't" is an old, old saying in English-speaking countries.
Laura- top bird! Very impressed.
Ideal equipment for the next Mad Max movie 👍 thanks a lot for this inspiring video.
Amazing!! I love the way you re-purpose old things and make something new.
You are so great Laura!!!
Such a talent , fantastic technological tools , and precious , precious time ... to make this ... such a unpractical POS stove . Lady , kudos to you , obviously you have a lot of free time .
So very cool! Very nice job Laura!
You seem to come up the most unique projects I have seen. Keep up the great work!!!
You are a genius. Very good video
Good evening Laura, how do you do it for I am in total amazement yet again at your ingenuity, this Jerry can camp fire is amazing and now I am at a loss for words, I always look forward to seeing your videos on a Sunday afternoon and this time I admit I was late watching this one ☝️ but somehow you always make something cool and useful and I just can not understand way anyone would give your videos a thumbs down.
I know this year. Has not been all that great but come on giving a thumbs down to someone who has a brilliant mind and can build stuff from the scrap heap is just plain stupid, but I would like you to carry on with your great ideas and to show us mere mortals what can be done and I will look forward to seeing your next video Ta Ta until next time Laura.
Awesome idea laura
Ich liebe die Metall-Projekte von dir! Hat irgendwie was sehr meditatives dir beim Bauen zuzuschauen 😁
Rule #1, be sure the can is washed out of fuel before throwing sparks.
yeah, fuel and gas containers could be filled with water and emptied so you know there is not much of anything flamable inside.
Not just washed out. Left filled with inert gas or water, if possible. the liquid is flammable, the vapors - explosive
Top effort. Loved it. Thanks.
Love that smile that you give us at the completion of a project!
Love it, another creation very useful.
Absolutely really cool.
Thanks Laura, I have had two identical jerry cans that were too rusty to use for fuel but too nice to get rid of with no idea what to do with them. Great idea!
Genial! Danke für das Video 😊da schätz man die Handwerkskunst noch mehr 😊👍
This concept is unique and perfect in every detail (for the smoke, the ashes, etc). Bravo and I put my order for one 😊. Need it for my van !
This is something I would love to buy! Super cool, creative and perfect outdoor creation!
just how many grills, stoves, and other food cooking devices have you made.... next we need a Laura Kampf cooking show :) Kampf's 1000 ways of grilling! :)
A collaboration with Alex / FrenchGuyCooking ? ;p
This is brilliant, I have to make such cooking device for outdoor trips.
As always, great idea and film.
That was a fantastic twist! I was wondering why you had such a small cooking area inside the can. But no, the handle is now your cook surface. that's fantastic!
Also, I love how literal the name of the tool brand is Pferd = horse. lol
Awesome work as always Laura ❤❤❤❤
Hola Laura. Es Genial tu Trabajo.!!! Te Felicito.!
Cool build, great for camping with your camper trailer. We want to see more camper videos!
Killed it mate!! Looks awesome!!
Nice one Laura 👏
New right at the start you were saving the pouring thingy for something special !! Love it thank you !
Nice vibe to this like the music 👍🏻
Yes that smile at 7:05 nice project ! Thanks for sharing with us
Brilliant Engineering! (although I did feel sorry for the poor Jerry Can)
und naturlich, nice Bratkartoffel.;)
from Australia

I wish you would have been around when I was teaching Industrial Arts. You would have been a great inspiration to get more girls to take “shop” classes!
A great mod to a Jerry can, and it will still ride in a bumper carrier. A+
Very nice. Maybe you can make more jerrycan projects. I made a suitcase for starting cables and tow rope. Not very original but looks cool anyway. I think you van come up with a lot of more ideas.
Hello from Russia 🙋 Vielen Dank für so einen Schatz wie dich)
Pferd should have sponsored this vid, great products!
They did :)
Sieht super aus ! Brauch ich auch unbedingt
thank you for share great detail video as great watching detail workshop ideal come together
A real chef! Kkkkk. Congratulations on the work and thanks for sharing.
Upcycling at its finest! Thats a really cool idea you did a great job on it
I got so uneasy watching you stir potatoes with your knife! Every bit of me that's still a chef was so disconcerted watching that! I was so relieved when you got the spatula!
I feel that 2020 is the year Laura looked around and thought 'What else can I turn into a stove?' 😉
I really like it. How you cut and built a can with proper accuracy. Great work 👍👍👍
Your such an efficient and effortless fabricator.
im trying to learn how to build my own home, and recyle anythign to be soemthing for me. i'm really glad i found your youtube today. It really makes me feel my ideas and dreams can come true, once i learn how to do things.
Terrific insight Laura. Now you can add a Jerry Can mount on your trailer to secure this stove while traveling. Wishing you and your family safety and good health while the pandemic continues to evolve into another wave. Greetings from NE Ohio, USA.
Omg if you have more of these id buy it!
Excellent ! a lot more handy than a regular rocket stove.
Good job !
Love it! Perfect stove for a post apocalyptic wasteland !!
Just Awesome!
Petrol - Flammable.
Its Vapors - *EXPLOSIVE.*
You're a Genius!
I like this, soemone should write a book of 101 things to do with a jerry can
Das hast du schön gemacht👍
Danke für die coole Idee 💡.
Werde ich direkt mal nachbauen.
Mach Dir eine schöne Adventszeit.
Liebe Grüße aus Nordhessen
Please add a comment about washing these Cans ! Even after several Years the fumes inside may make a bomb out of it. Everything with some kind of fuel in it at any time in the Past should be filled with water or some kind of not flammable gas to prevent a explosion.
Otherwise - as always - a very nice Video. ( Even without glue :-) )
simply falling with with your passion..
I realy love your videos...amazing idea 👍
Smashing it Laura,🤗
As per the rules of the drinking game, take a drink at the following timestamps:
Neon label tape: 5:29 and 5:33
I know an additional thing to this. How many times she's "petting " an object.
Like 0:59 , 2:20
Although she has that tendency more with wood. 🤣👍🏻
@@p_mouse8676 Its not distinct and unique. Its something that pretty much everyone does. The tape and the block is something only Laura does.
@@goodBEan well, i never pet my objects, haha. I find it very cute.
lamps, burners, desks.. It's about time for another bike project Laura.
Super cool!
I think we'd get along fabulously under the motto anything can be a stove.
3:10 I think this freeze frame is artistic🤗
