Thanks for the videos. I grew up in a small town close to your shop. Occasionally visit the area and would love to make a visit, if you allow public access. Currently finishing a restoration on a m38 (1952) and starting a rebuild on a 1948 CJ 2A. Regards, Michael Ashley COL, US Army (Retired)
Perfect.please a video for valve adjustment
Give us a few months 👍
Excellent video. Followed the directions and it worked great, this time. Previous attempt I let it dry too longs and and parts of the letters/number came up. Just finished by 1953 M170 Marine Corp radio Jeep.
About how long to wait?
Hey great video very helpful I have a 1942 g7107 that came from up north served on the Alaskan highway construction during the war so I'm in the middle of restoring it up in Alberta Canada just wondering what is the motor pool blue grey color you used so I keep it historically accurate I'd like to do the truck justice
Very nicely done, thanks. Would have liked to have seen how you smoothed out the rough edge of the 4 as it lifted a bit. Useful info, thanks again.
How can the paint be ordered? Do you offer walking purchases and where is your facility located?
What did W stand for? I know S was for Radio Suppression Jeeps, which I’m surprised my 43 GPW is a radio jeep
Take note that he starts spraying before he gets to the numbers. Does not start spraying at the numbers.
Good job, we’re all lettering light blue, ?
From the factory lusterless blue drab... anything done in the field would have been painted in white
I should have clarified this in the video 👍
Team G503 Restoring A 1943 Willys MB Army Jeep Thanks, I got one from Ft. Hood, to. 4-15-42 numbers and letters were white
Nice.
What is the dimension Jimmy is measuring from cowl to edge of stencil? Is that a certain dimension or just making sure the distance is equal on top and bottom of stencil? Thank you.
Do we get them from you ? what about USN numbers for a Navy jeep ?
