try to format the usb drive using the same software as you had used for creating the bootable drive, it'll work.. 👍

my problem was, that I installed Ubuntu as dualboot (windows as the other/primary os) then I just deleted Ubuntu and I didn't know that Ubuntus bootloader would replace windows bootloader
so.... now I don't have any kind of bootloaders, so I have this GRUB 2.0 terminal looking thing

I have installed it 4 times but when it’s finish and reboot error comes up. Grub installer disk not found. Thought i followed your steps correctly. Can you help me with that ?
How did you manage to install a SWAP file as I was trying and was unable to do it so had to install it without one which is what I didnt want to as my laptop only has 4GB of RAM were I wanted to create a 8GB SWAP. Did you edit out how to create your SWAP file?
Does the installation work on mac os x? I've searched information about single boot but I only find information about dual boot which I don't want.
So then how I access to my data after I installed parrot os in window..
but if you don't have that normal "Install option" that you're using, what then? running off the 4.7
How much you spend to buy that ThinkPad and how many ThinkPad you have. also use etcher to create bootable usb cuz it's was recommended by parrot team.

I have been using write as ISO, and it keeps telling me that it can't read the disc properly. Hopefully writing as DD image will let me install it

There are ways to install this in dual boot. Just google Windows 10 Linux Dualboot. Personally, I use 2 different SSDs for this. One for Windows one for Linux. I think tek syndicate or level 1 techs has a video up on that.
@@StefanRows yeh... i only have one hard disk and i dont wana install parrot as dual boot .. i mant when you install parrot on the way you showed us in video do u need reinstall and format windows system ? or it's just automatically being removed

It's a common issue. Google for it and you'll find the answer.

No. If you install it this way your windows is gone. You need to look for "Parrot OS Dual Boot" instructions for Windows / Parrot Dual Boot.

4 GB Ram is sufficient. You are dealing with Linux :) Yes. Installer is offline entirely. You just need to be online to update your system (which you should)

@@damnyou6736 ParrotSec is Linux. And now, I don't recommend you use a security distribution if you are not familiar with regular Linux.
Do I need swap partition ?
If you have low ram is best to have a swap, I could not work it out how to create one as the OS does not guide you in anyway of creating one but complains when you dont make one. Cant win on that one I'm going to create a VM and mess with it that way until I can do it perfectly.
