A little advice please create a second channel without major edits for educational purposes. BYOT uncut or skills. Keep in mind RUclips TV is literally your TV network with over 2 billion subscribers. From around the world. #educational #learning #skills #highschool #goTeachers #shop
Never had anyone mention this to me before but I LOVE the concept JP. This actually wouldn't be very hard to do and I could take out my voiceover as well so its just the sound. Would you appreciate that? Thanks so much for the suggestion. Is anyone else interested in this type of video?
@@BYOTools you know, not a bad idea. My advice would be to keep it on the same channel, though. Just a thought Brent.
Cutting stringers on top of a finished surface is wild.
Thanks for calling me out. I don't suggest that at all. Just got trapped in a bit of a rainstorm that I wasn't prepared for and didn't have my sawhorses on site. Oops! All worked out though.....luckily haha! Thanks for watching.
Great work. Can't wait for the video with the railings.
No idea why RUclips will not tell me when your videos come out. I love the final outcome my friend, it looks great and you make it look so easy.
Beautiful!!! What a transformation.
Thanks so much for all the support along the way :)
A very helpful, informative video. Thank you for your instructional videos. They are fantastic. And the deck looks great!
You can also lay a stringer from home depot on top of a 2x12 and trace it to save yourself the hassle.
One thing I found out when I did mine was my top step was too long because I didn’t need a riser on the top. It looks like he installed fascia on the top after so his was good. But just a heads up if you are putting the stringer directly to your fascia, you need to cut the back of the stringer down by the thickness of a riser
How do you fasten the bottom board if the steps lead straight to the ground?
Hey man, Esteban here. Can you make a video of all the tools you have?
Ooooo boy that would be a long video haha. But a good idea Esteban. I'll have to give that more though. Thanks so much for the suggestion and all the support.
So… no blocking to stabilize the posts???
With the fascia install are you per timbertech specs suppose to screw and plug that or will that fail over time? Looks great otherwise that was my only question.
Great question. Technically they say not to countersink the screw heads because of the thickness of the fascia but I hate that look so I installed more screws then required and have never had an issue before. Thanks so much for watching.
No problem! Hope you enjoy making the videos looks like it takes a great deal of time! Thanks for answering makes total sense.
The most important part…determining the rise was done so fast that it doesn’t make this easy.
🙏👏👍💪
Thanks for watching as always Alain.
I know this sounds like a stupid question, but what is your title? In other words, I need to find someone who can do what you just did but don't know what to look for? Can any carpenter do this? Or are you a builder? Who do I look for?
Height is pronounced with a T at the end. Not a TH. You always say height as if it was spelled heighth.
WHO cares mr perfect english
Dude, don't go to the southern states in the USA! You'll have a nervous breakdown from pronunciations and the grammar too! Ya might oughtta not go down yonder thar!
@@briardan9226i love the word yonder 😂
Trust me, I get it. Thanks for the clarity and I'll provide clarity for you as well. I'm dyslexic, which means at a young age when trying to read I always saw height as heigth, which is why I say it like that. I've tried to change but my brain always goes back to how I've always said it since I learned how to say it. Also, not trying to make anyone feel sorry for me, just wanted to provide clarity. I am where I am today is because of my dyslexia, which I truly am grateful for. Gave me many unique challenges at an early age that has helped me later in life. Anyways, hope you can look past the pronunciation. Thanks for watching.
@@BYOTools I thought it was just a regional dialect thing. Now I have even more respect for the talent you have with construction!
