I attempted to go out for the May camp out and was rain/snowed out, so i just pitched the tent in the backyard. Produced with CyberLink PowerDirector 15
JIUJITSU2000 thanks skeet.. I'm finalizing the last big mod to the tent and will be doing my June overnight soon. Hope all is well with you and your family. (Ms. Bella included).
Good job bud! Reminds me of my time in the field. Engineers used two man tents..in the air ambulance unit I was in we used GP large tents. Lots of time in those things!
AOK Foraging and Adventures lol.. I was not about to stay in the hills with the snow and mud. Hopefully i have the r.v. ready to go in a bit and will start taking it up in the mountains..
Ha cool beans! Very nice prizes! I believe that the pots in your swede set may be reproductions. As with much military surplus, the best items were sold off first and most of what was wrong with the ‘leftovers ‘ were damaged or un-cleanable pot sets. I remember when sportsman’s guide was selling the Swede kits they sold four complete kits plus four additional windscreens, stoves and fuel bottles. In recent years, there has been a demand for a pot set that would fit the windscreen stove combos. The way to tell the difference is the absence of the hook on the large pot bail and the omission of the d-rings on the small pot handle. What difference does it make? I’m not sure. The two differences I mentioned mainly have to do with using the pots with an open fire. Haha... that dog is sad because it thinks YOU are in the doghouse!
Thereal111t they probably are reproductions. But they are all used. I had to go through the bin and find the best components that weren't burned through or dented.
Great video my friend I just found your giveaway video I went camping last weekend I wish I would have known owell I'm gonna get in your giveaway I will be camping next month for sure god bless you my friend
I'm going to have to think of something to send you to add to the giveaway. The wife and kids can laugh away! Camping in the back yard is FUN! 29 degrees. You are a die hard and an inspiration to follow thru on this challenge. That's so sad about the guy who passed away. Emberado? Please be careful with the open flame.
Hell was just shy of 100 here all weekend, careful with that homemade heat source... awesome additions to the challenge.... yeah, smitty... well, true.
March & April were a camping fail for me...looks like May is a no go Im in the Smoky Mountains til June. But gonna backyard camp when i get back home! Maybe even live in my tent hahahaa Great cook kits! I really like that 2nd one
