I don't know how we got to the point where half a million dollar homes constitutes reasonably low cost of living.
I was in Silver spring on 2023 and will love to have the opportunity to come and visit again ❤
Before you consider moving to Silver Spring, check out the crime stats. Some of the schools are pretty rough too.
I love my Howard county, Columbia one of the best cities to live. Expensive but nice!
I grew up right outside of Columbia, in Laurel its no better, just a bunch of pretentious snobs
Amazing video my friend , thank you for sharing big like, fully watched , have a wonderful day !!!
I live in columbia its nice.
Columbia is great!
It's expensive to buy a home, I can't find a 3 bedroom less than 450,000.00
I was thinking that place too
What zip codes should be considered if looking to move? I heard the area in Columbia around the mall are seeing rising crime rates.
@@asanticollins1138 what county are you looking to live in?
Very beautiful thanks to this video
I'm going to move here soon, My cousin lives in the Towson area as a fitness instructor
AYYY!! i live in SILVER SPRING!!! i will say its awesome
Hi. I am planing to move to silver spring. What are your thoughts about any good areas to buy townhouse?
@@rabbiali7907 Ummmmm
I dont really know bc im not 18 and dont look at houses but there are some downtown ish off of Elsworth ts i think (i hope i spelled that right)
Thank you for this video. I live in Texas but I am considering moving to Maryland in the future. Thank you again
Best of luck!
We'd love to have you! And if you need a Real Estate Agent I'd be happy to assist. :D
Bring a lot of Texans with you. You all are welcome here
don't, born and raised, just don't
Honestly I care about Maryland for 2 reasons: The Ocean, and Kilgore Falls (where they filmed Tuck Everlasting) 😁
Annapolis is great I live there peaceful and quiet.
Yes it is!
I'm considering it as I love to be close to the water. I've been abroad for five years and live along the shore now. It's nowhere as expensive as the states but family and friends are pulling my heart strings.
I grew up in Annapolis in 70’s & 80’s. It was lively, fun and had a strong live music presence.
Still does. I have some great memories of those times!
Its very nice but the residents sure aren't
👑
I was born and raised in frederick
Well no wonder there all nice places to live if you have money 💰
Love maryland.great place to raise kids. Great schools in Montgomery County! In Arizona, yuk! Too hot!!
Great Video i feel better than Newyork and Washington DC
I’m looking for buying a house or townhouse in MD so which city do you recommend. My priority is my safety.
I grew up in Maryland. It's ok
Which area
If you want trouble you will get it simple that’s anywhere
What is Perryville like?
Very quiet. Near the water. Nice in the summer
I love historic Ellicott City. I would highly recommend visiting if you get the opportunity. I also vouch for all of the places on this list. Towson had some issues with crime recently with people from Baltimore City venturing out into the county, but it seemed to be a one time thing and it’s still quite nice overall.
I agree about Ellicott City. Such a cool place!
I agree about Ellicott City!
What about Bowie ?
You're right I don't know why Bowie and Opper Malboro are not here.
What about Bmore?
If its not on the list it isnt the best place for ppl who search for safe cities on youtube.
Lol 😂😂😂
DEFINITELY NOT!!! HIgh crime. Terrible schools. Poverty. Just drive through if you get the chance. They have Johns Hopkins University and Johns Hopkins Hospital. There are many good reasons it isn't on this list.
Ah hell nah 💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀
Baltimore is literally The East coast's version of Detroit
Baltimore is a shit hole. Lot of dark people there😂
The Maryland Wine Festival is not held in Frederick.. It's held in Westminster on the grounds of the Carroll County Farm Museum. I live in Maryland.. have lived here all my life. This video is less than accurate.
quite a few errors
You only stayed on the west side, look into the Eastern Shore
What is the name of this place ?
Can you say me name this place ,❤
What place? Didn’t you watch the video?
Y’all pls pls stop letting this fool you I’m from Frederick on muvas everywhere is different feel me it’s bad up their if you look for the beef that’s the thing we got nothin but police downtown junkies we got junkies at parks can’t even have the fair open without it getting shot up or parties get active do not let these fool you but you can live anywhere if you mind yo business
Thank you for not naming our county and town.
cefc
Silver Spring is full of crime and mayhem. She got this completely wrong. Maryland has way better places than Montgomery County and Baltimore County. She nailed it with Frederick. Frederick is the fastest growing county in MD. Although the Governor (who I voted for by the way) doesn't seem to get it (I'm disappointed with him on infrastructure with Hwy 15), Frederick is booming. Beautiful mountains and downtown. I'll take it over crime filled, crazy Montgomery and over exaggerated Howard.
I love Glen Burnie.
Seriously?
@@vincentbugalia3858 Yeah!
I lived there when the Drive In theatre was in business and Ense's served the best Italian food around. Before the DMV was where it is there was an anti-bellum plantation house there, abandoned long ago and as kids we would roam thru it. Moved away in early 70s.@@db2885
Damn...you consider half a million to be "low cost of living?"
This is one of the most inaccurate videos I’ve ever watched. I’ve lived in several of these places in both Montgomery County and Howard County. The “famous” places listed are not famous as they claim. This video is just clickbait. I grew up in Rockville near Bethesda and I currently live in Columbia. There aren’t several “colleges and universities in these areas. Montgomery county has Montgomery college (community) and Howard has (Howard community college). There are no actually universities in either county with the exception of satellite campuses. Don’t be fooled. Do your research or hit me up with more info on both counties.
😮 wow
Listen to the voice on the recording. Many of today's best places videos are AI generated. Unless you see a real person speaking that's often the case. Even then many realtors are only giving you government stats. This is why reading the comments of people who actually live in the areas is beneficial. Still do your due diligence as one person's heaven could easily be someone else's hell.
He is right but University of Maryland is in college park and not really far, but there are plenty of universities around like 15 to 40 min drive or with the train, you can live Rockville and Bethesda, silver spring and attend universities in Washington DC or university of Md or Columbia, elicit city, Towson: university of Md, Towson university, UMB, John hopskins university and others…
rockville, they showed a house that would be about 11 million bucks and is in Potomac this site is bs.
I live in Waldorf- Don't move here 💀
You could move up north to Frederick County!
What happens there?
@@anandazen30 low lives from Washington DC have been moving in over the years and crime rate is at an all time high
@@ConsciousFellathanks for this info
Bruh i live In joppa
No to Towson crime is bad . Ruxton, part lutherville Greenspring Valley. Sparks and Monkton top notch but can be expensive. Northern Baltimore County you can’t go wrong.
The people are trash rich and poor
Don’t. Just don’t.
I save you from unnecessary misery.
PEOPLE ARE LEAVING MARYLAND BECAUSE HIGH COST OF RENT AND LIVING!
Where could they go with lower rent that pays the same?
@@movingtomaryland no where now because of DEMOC**** AND REPUBC***** TROOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
They sure are! I left MD and moved to NC. The pay in MD/DC is GREAT!! But, you are going to give it all back in bills because of taxes and everything is so expensive!!
