Gonna be a tough series for the Mets to win, they have to be depleted mentally and physically with very little rest time, I am not gonna go crazy on them if they lose this series, you cant expect miracles every game to win. This Phillies team is battle tested, I just hope the magic continues for the Mets, this has been 1 of the best seasons they ever had considering the expectations.

Peterson & Manaea both have career 5+ ERAs vs. PHL. I don't like either one starting in this series. I'd use both of them out of the bullpen when Schwarber & Harper are due up in key, late innings. Start Senga, Severino, Megill & Quintana.

Really tired of this Mets team having the term "magic" being used when describing their season and playoff wins. How about "talented", "professional", "deserving "? Magic implies some sort of illusion or trickery.
As a lifelong Mets’ fan, I wish they’d stop using that word too. It’s was a term the team used to lure fans after they traded Seaver. The phrase was “The Magic Is Back!”and used in 1980. And the team SUCKED! 67-95.

The best thing the Mets can do is play up to their potential and win it all.....then they can tell EVERYONE this wasn't magic....it was the best team in baseball since the last days of May....that's most of the season.

There's no real sense in pulling him early if you believe that winning game 1 is crucial for the Mets. Worry about game 5 when you get there (but you have to get there first)! IMO
