Love the theme!! The due date is my moms birthday! So exciting that you don’t have much longer to go. :) Our lil bean was due in August but came early in July. We also did the book thing as a suggestion for gifts and asked everyone to sign them. It really makes them special!
This was so beautiful to watch. I can feel the growth you were talking about in the end so much. You seem so calm and content and positive and I just love to see it and to see you grow and how much your mental health improved over the years. I have been struggling with my mental health for a long time as well, and this year has been truly transformative for me so far. For probably the first time in my life I feel content and happy regardless of any inconsistencies and I gained so much inner peace. You really do feel like an older sister to me and I am so so happy and excited for you and to see all the changes and experiences your little baby bear is going to bring. when you started saying that for whatever reason you feel super calm and relaxed and grateful, I couldn't help but think that maybe your little bundle of joy, being born an earth sign, is helping his mama by grounding her. Hi Kalyn, the past few weekends I watched fireworks, got sick, ended up going to the beach last weekend and this coming up weekend I’m going to a spiritual island. Tuesday I’m going to have surgery to get 2 screws removed from my ankle, I broke it in March. So next week into the weekend I’ll be recovering from that. I’m so happy for you and glad you had a lovely baby shower, little bear is so so loved and I love watching you becoming a mother.

I love watching these videos. Someday my boyfriend and I will have our own baby but that won't be until forever in the future because we need to get married and I'll probably wait until I'm 29 before I have my first child so it's really nice to see how you're doing with everything. I also understand what you mean when you said everything seems calm and peaceful because I feel like that's how I'm going to feel when I'm pregnant. It's going to be a whole different experience being a mom but it'll be the best experience ever! I'm sure you already know this but when you're baby is a cute little nugget take as many pictures as possible because they grow up wayyyyyyy too fast!

I am the aunt that spoils the moms. I will always think of the mother first. Being a new mom is stressful so I will always get gifts for her. So like you got the prenatal massage, those are the sorts of things mothers really need as well as maybe stuff you never think of or things you wouldnt feel right or maybe embarassed to buy yourself. Like babysitting coupons go a long way in America because we dont have Mat-leave. ANYWHO so happy for you guys this is so exciting and a very fun vlog.

I was supposed to have the same due date as you, we had the exact same experience with founding out we were pregnant and everything but I had a miscarriage 9 weeks later, and am now 4 months pregnant with a baby girl due late December 🥰 So it's really precious and nostalgic for me to follow along your pregnancy, I feel like I'm living a piece of my first pregnancy through you (I know it sounds weird, I promise it's not 😂)

You glow! As a person who has also grown up alongside you, it has been so wonderful getting to see you navigate this new chapter :) I did not have any good role models growing up, so pregnancy and motherhood has always seemed like an overwhelming prospect - but the way you approach it and communicate with us brings me such a sense of peace and excitement for the future :) Hope that makes sense. As for me, my partner and I have been working on little updates around our home to personalize the space to make it ours. We have some larger nature prints from some of our backpacking trips so now we are going to build some frames for those and decorate some of the rooms before classes start up again :)

What is a diaper party?
Assuming its like a baby shower but for the men🤷🏻♀️😂
guests bring a package of diapers (and other necessities like wipes, creams etc) and the hosts provide usually food, beer, etc. :) We call them Diaper Kegs where i'm from.
What is a registry?
It’s an option on amazon and some other sites where you can create a list of what you’d like if anyone was to buy you gifts etc so no chance of doubling up etc
