I also used to get nervous trying out something because other people might dislike it but the truth is no one really cares about what you wear. Some people may comment about it but it doesn't really matter since we are different people and we have different taste in fashion. If you love wearing it, wear it. Dont let other people's comments stop you from doing what you love.
I would disagree in the sense that people do care what they see others wearing. Clothing and appearance speak more than words. Many impressions are made from the jacket you wear, the necklace around your neck or the way your hair is style; all before you even say hello. I will say that I agree with if you love wearing it, don't let the impressions or opinions of others hold you back!

Harry's right about jewelry. It was the same with me and long coats. I thought they looked cool, but was nervous the first time I ventured out in one because I never wore them. Now I feel real comfortable in one, get compliments, feel confident. Listen to him.

I donated 80% of my wardrobe and now I am finally buying based of what I love. I always had the base for my style, but now I am finally complimenting a complete wardrobe.
I definitely have been dwindling down unused pieces. The good thing is I sell them and I get extra change for something new.

I still lack confidence when it comes to fashion. Like my friends roast me on shit I wear but I also started hitting the gym 3-4 years ago so having that body gave me some confidence
Wonderful, Harry, the feeling of tension is always related to fashion, especially with regard to new pieces, but your phrases and advice raise confidence without hesitation.
I can relate so much when it comes to jewellery. I have always been comfortable wearing a bracelet and a watch. But I have always been afraid/uncomfortable to wear rings. So a little tip for everyone that I did that may save you a lot of money. When I start to trying wearing rings I went to H&M and bought a pack of different rings for about 9£. And wearing them for a while to see how comfortable I was wearing them and if I liked it and thought it looked good on me. Once I realised I loved wearing rings I started buying quality rings in real silver. Because jewellery can be very expensive. So instead of buying a lot of expensive rings that you afterwards realise it's not for you. Then you have only lost £9.

I'm in the US, so some of your favorite brands are hard to get here, but easy to find comparable alternatives. What I came here to say is I appreciate your "less is more" approach to one's wardrobe as compared to other creators who promote the expanse of their wardrobe and how much they get from sponsors and self-purchase. As a clothes junkie, I fell into that (and still am with shoes...I love them). I just did a closet cleanse and took six large bags of clothing to the donation center. It felt good to donate and to clear out the things I don't wear.

Good use of (presumably) stock video footage in this one, haven't noticed this aspect of the production before but it definitely helps break up the 'guy in front of camera' format and give it some variety, as well as showing off a wider variety of 'people wearing clothes'. Music is on point too. On the actual points you made, totally agree. Gradually pushing your comfort zone, as well as finding online communities to share with, are points you can apply to fashion as well as lots of other things. Another hit from Harry!

Before 2024 I would never have gone through the woman’s section but last week I got my favorite gray cargo pants that are perfectly oversize for my sneakers and I love them lmao literally love them

This is the first year where i've actually decided I'm gonna give a crap about dressing nice. I'm already like 8 pieces in this year lol. At 31 it's about time. I like the minimalistic classic look but i'm trying to explore some more colors and maybe even go crazy and not get slim fit pants lol

I was gifted some green adidas gazelles for Christmas by my parents. They were my dream shoe, and I LOVE seeing them in other people- but for some reason in my head I just think they look terrible on me. I want to try wearing them more and more with different outfits and get myself more comfortable because I really do love the shoes themselves and I’m always complimented when I do wear them. The same with me. I got a green pair of Campus 00-I love them. However I’ve yet to wear them out of the house lol. I’m not sure why as I wear sneakers all of the time-most of them Adidas. I’m in SoCal so not unusual shoes for here either. Not sure what this is about. Glad to hear I’m not the only one.

Recently I've learned to be more confident in my body type. Im tall and slender, but was always self conscious of trying to fit according to that shape. For years I wanted clothes that 'filled out' my frame, but now I've invested in well fitting jeans that highlight my lower profile, as well as jackets and shirts that aren't baggy for the sake of being oversized. 2024 will be a big year for my fashion 🎉

Would love a video/advice on shorter men’s fashion. Not fashion to make you look taller (though not looking shorter would be helpful!) but where to look for stuff that actually fits! Have such a hard time finding jackets, shirts, trousers, jeans, etc that actually fit nicely - without needing to double or triple the price of every item on tailoring.

We actually have the same problem 🤣. I was uneasy wearing pants with prints in public the first time I bought them. My significant other claimed you're doing it the right way when I showed her some of my fits w/ it. I kept telling her there was something lacking. After a few weeks, I stop caring and continue to use it in the same way that I did with previous pairs. 🤣

Fashion trends usually come back in full circle. I've kept my loose fitting jeans and pants for years and they are now back in trend and I've been wearing them a lot recently. So that depends if you have space and you shouldn't throw away for not wearing them for long time.
I don’t personally wait for trends to wear things so if I’m not wearing it, I’ll sell it and use the money for something I like
Honestly i rarely threw out clothes. I just relegate them down the hierarchies, instead of wear it when going outside i wear it inside the house. And wear it till it completely destroyed, or become a rag. Asian people will know what i mean
That’s good if you are getting use out of all your clothes. For me, I only have so much space and I would prefer someone else to enjoy wearing the stuff I don’t wear.

Hey harry, I have a big problem with clothes. Instead of getting rid of clothes, I keep them in the closet with the idea of wearing them around the house as "old - home clothes". By the way, thanks for the super vid.

My problem is I get attached to the old clothes as my belief is to get the maximum usage, but the newer clothes mainly get left unworn, taking up space.

Yo Harry! Got a quick question for you or anyone else who may be seeing this could also be helpful.
I recently bought a very oversized overcoat and I seriously cannot decide whether to keep it or not.
When the coat just "does its thing" I'm actually not that big a fan of the fit - it looks like I'm wearing a dress or morning goan from some angles. But when I pull back one side of it to have it a bit more open I really like it. This requires that I either pull the one side back and then make sure it doesn't roll back out on its own and/or requires me to keep my hand in the pocket to hold it back.
So on those conditions (and with the little information) would you wanna keep a coat that you only truly like if you kinda "force" the way it looks and fits?
If you don’t love everything about it don’t keep it. The parts you don’t like will stand out to you more than the parts you like. Send it back

The future of fashion is on the horizon. Sales platforms will be able to offer Ai generated models to look like the user. Consumers will be able to set the characteristics such as age, height, weight... meaning customers will be able to match garments to themselves and therfore make better choices. Imagine being able to select combinations of clothing and see it on a model before buying, or even better, select clothing across a variety of retail platforms.
YT fashion/influence channels may need to ask themself, how they fit in this kind of world.

Sell your car, sell your tv, sell your soul. Then buy few, but ultra-high quality, clothes you immediately fall in love with and would rate a 10/10 (and not below!). Done.
I was uncomfortable shopping in the Women’s section yet found lots of Women’s clothes accidentally left in the Men’s section due to looking masculine so I have started shopping both sections recently.
