@@jbw6351 similar aesthetic. Both have similar inspirations, drole didn’t copy ald, they started around the same time if im not mistaken. Love ALD as well
I wished you mentioned Studio Nicholson! They have really nice silhouettes and the materials and garment quality look immaculate on their site. I have almost all of my basics down, so I'll definitely keep this video saved! Thanks Harry!
I was literally out in central London today and I came across this guy whose outfit I just HAD to ask about - he ended up being almost head to toe in OrSlow (which was my first time learning about the brand), so your timing was impeccable (as always). In terms of other brands, I would recommend Danton, (yet another) French brand which focuses on workwear (and just overall lasting quality/functionality).
Your descriptions are always on point. Great timing since I’m ready to get a few more mid-range statement pieces to enhance my (mostly Uniqlo and COS basic pieces) wardrobe. I started with both Acne Studios and Kapital last year, and I always make sure to use your affiliate links. It’s also pretty overwhelming to find high-quality but affordable basics so kudos to you for that as well. P.S.: I wouldn’t have been able to predict that ‘see you later’ out of all your others see you later, and it cracked me up, lol. Until next Sunday! Cheers
Falconeri (cashmere) and Trussardi (leather) are nice if you like Milano style. Both are a bit small in the sizes so I have to size up from a 48 to a 50.
I’ve found Oof and Andy a really good quality for the price point i have a few of their polo shirts and their dress shirts for me perfect for work as well as their sweaters off of Amazon
Margaret Howell/MHL, nanamica/North Face Purple Label are my favorites. Universal Works is on my list too but they are not available in where I live. 😢
Great video. These are some of my favorite mid-range brands. Ambush, Axel Arigato, Brooks Brothers, Cole Buxton, Comme de Garçons, James Perse, Juun.J, Kapital, Kith, NEEDLES, PAIGE, Rag and Bone, Represent, Sacai, Theory, Vince.
I wear t-shirts 90% of the time and my favorites are Acne, APC, Thom Browne and Sunspel. I used to buy RRL but I think the quality has gone down a bit. For polo shirts, I wear Orlebar Brown almost exclusively- but you have to be in shape to wear it. For basic t-shirts, I also really like Velva Sheen.
Really enjoyable video, thank you. 🙏Represent for casual, Billionaire Boys Club and Evisu for Fun, and C.P. Company for superbly made technical/utility biased basics.
Was hoping to see Asket as they'd fit in to this price bracket and have some incredibly nice stuff. If I were to rebuild my wardrobe with basics, this would be my nb 1 spot.
Just getting “into fashion”. Living in the Midwest of the US it’s a little intimidating as this isn’t exactly a fashion forward part of the country. Any advice to stepping out in new styles? Particularly when friends see it as weird because it’s different than the way I used to dress. Thanks! Love the content
I’d say just start off going in the direction you wanna go in with your style and take it slow. You don’t have to buy a whole new wardrobe overnight. Start with what you feel comfortable and then push yourself to go out your comfort zone when you feel ready to take the next step. I use Depop, Vinted and EBay but Grailed is good too. Etsy has some good stuff also
ive got some pieces from cole buxton, a uk brand, and have been really impressed.. thoughts on them since ive never heard anything about them so far from you
I mostly buy Japanese brands like OrSlow. I'm going to Paris tomorrow for a concert and I'll check out fatigue pants by Drapeau noir. I also like some other French brands like Tonton et fils, Kiplay vintage, Champs de manoeuvre or La gentle factory. love Japanese brands but a lot of what you pay is actually import taxes I think because in Japan they are not as expensive as in europe (the Japanese retail price is usually on the tag). A MA1 bomber jacket by a brand like Buzz Rickson's or the Real mc Coy typically costs between 750 and 1000 euros. I own two and they're great but you have to sell a kidney to afford those (doesn't have to be your kidney though).
I am more into graphic stuff and have wanted to buy a piece from CAV EMPT for a very long time also like some pieces from Flaggstuff, Neighborhood and Undercover
Hi Harry, watching this made me think about a question: do you ever buy second hand online for this kind of brands? Because whenever I find myself scrolling on Vinted I always feel like prices are still too high and most of the stuff is just basic (or sometimes probably fake). Do you have any experience in this? Thanks Edit. You said this at the end of the video hahaha
Does anyone know Kaptial style clothing but for a taller person? (Shirts etc usual xl or xxl) saw that their fits mostly go up to L. Guess it makes sense but their stuff is so pretty🥲 Many thanks in advance
Could you rate these brands on a next video from 1 to 100? Usually what I'm dressed in. Stone Island Fred Perry Weekend Offender Lyle & Scott New Balance The North Face
Drôle de Monsieur might be one of my favourites atm for those odd statement pieces
Seems like a copy paste of ALD from the styling, lookbooks and even the name itself 😭😭
@@jbw6351 similar aesthetic. Both have similar inspirations, drole didn’t copy ald, they started around the same time if im not mistaken. Love ALD as well
@@jbw6351 except DdM is actually French, and has a name that makes sense in French. Gotta say too that ddm's customer service is shiiiiiiiiite.
@@jbw6351 couldn't disagree more...Whilst ALD is inspired by American culture (NYC), DDM explores different staples of European cultures...

Thanks for watching bro
What a humble and informative voice of the fashion world, you are. Thank you, Harry!
I’ve been here for a while and you’re quickly becoming one of my favourite creators right now. Thanks for the work you put into your content Harry!
Really appreciate that mate. Thank you

Glad you liked Orslow. Cool brand
I’ve never heard of Orslow until now, but I’m loving it !
Need a part 2. Such an important - needed video. Appreciate you 👕
Thanks for introducing me to Kapital brand. Those skeleton pieces are marvellous.
Another banger, Harry. Flawless editing. It’s not easy to make it look this easy lol
Ahh you are too kind. Thanks a lot

Thanks a lot for the support bro. It’s massively appreciated 🙏
Love all of these! That tee from Our Legacy looks class as well, I remember you talking about that a while ago!
Thanks a lot man. Yeah, I’ve had my eye on it for a long while. The fit is so good
caught me off guard with the outro Harry 🤣
😉
ami Paris really got me intrigued. Acne studio has my dreams trousers. One day I'll have some pieces from them
Engineered garments! I think you would really dig one of their flannels or camp shirts
Great video as always! Also waiting for that t-shirts video that made you sound very convincing with the subscribe-to-the-channel thing 😉
One brand I love that I’m surprised doesn’t get much (if any) love from online creators is Percival. Their shop just off Carnaby St is great.
Appreciate the content, Harry! 😄
Appreciate you watching mate
Maison Kitsune actually has a Cafe and also sells shirts inside.
Wearing tees is basically the ONLY option here in the north of Mexico 🥵 Really excited for that one!
Coming next week 🤟
love the content thank you so much it is the best advice i can find for my clothing here on YT
Thanks a lot mate. Really appreciate that
It's always a good day when Harry uploads. But id say diesel deserves a spot there.
Glad you enjoy the videos bro
I may be biased as an Australian by I think RM Williams for staple denim and footwear are hard to beat for timeless look and value
Great video again! Arte Antwerp is my favorite at the moment.
I always have 5 or 7 new tabs open when Harry has a new video out. You'll be speaking with my accountant soon 😂
😂
In a similar category Ampère Amsterdam is doing a lot of nice things the last couple of seasons.
Great vid as usual. Loving Glory days atm the quality is SUPERB especially at the price point all handmade pieces in the uk
Ahh yeah. I went past their store in Leeds. Looked really cool
Absolutely love both the Acne Studios pieces I have, would certainly purchase more if I was in a different tax bracket 😅
Falconeri (cashmere) and Trussardi (leather) are nice if you like Milano style. Both are a bit small in the sizes so I have to size up from a 48 to a 50.
Another great video Harry. Heard of a few brands here, might have to check them out properly. Have a good day.
Thank you very much. You too mate
I’ve found Oof and Andy a really good quality for the price point i have a few of their polo shirts and their dress shirts for me perfect for work as well as their sweaters off of Amazon
Very good advice. I am not young anymore, but i know all these brands as solid choices for young people
I appreciate all these tips
Love some oliver spencer pieces. British brand, classical and easy to wear.
Margaret Howell/MHL, nanamica/North Face Purple Label are my favorites. Universal Works is on my list too but they are not available in where I live. 😢
Nice list
Keeping the outro game strong😆❤️ Great video!
Thanks a lot mate 😉🙏😂
Whisper at the end tickled me. Graphic tees for summer video next?
I have a tee video coming next Sunday 🤟
@@HarryHas can’t wait, my summer fashion is still lacking. Hoping to fix that this summer
great video! waiting for most affordable ones as well ))

Amomento is really on my watch list lately
when u said old timers would know i instantly shouted acne studios!!!!!!

Kapital and orslow…I got a feeling Harry might get into the raw denim😂
😉
Someone: I want to level up from budget brands.
Harry: Have you tried being mid?
Beams Japan (their own label) and United Tokyo, and gonna add Edwin for budget friendly Japan denim as well
Acne Studio, Our legacy and Ami Paris
Now this was a detailed review. Nicely done.
Appreciate it mate. Thanks
Mango man. Great stuff at great prices.
that's fast fashion

and when you're old enough/have some money, move the hell out of the midwest. nothing for you there except (mostly) small-minded people.
I'd love to hear what you think of Maniere de Voire
Be mindful of denim weight when buying Orslow. They make some really thin jeans which is great for the summer but you’d be freezing in the winter.

Thank you very much mate. Appreciate it
I usually spring for Todd Snyder or LL bean when I want to step up a price level
I loved APC when I first started buying it. However, the pieces I bought didn't wear well. Thanks Harry!
That’s a shame
Can we get a vid w the missus, Harry?
May be try some sssstein , graphpaper and yoke
Will check em out. Cheers
Aime Leon Dore for tops and Acne studios for pants 🤝
Closed and dondup are also comparable brands, really good quality
Universal Works, Frizmworks (i only appreciate brands with “works” in the title lol), Barbour (only jackets), Folk, Noah
Every pair of pants I wear these days is from OrSlow. Can't go wrong with them.
I really like story mfg, idle/ido and Fried Rice NYC, I think you can guess where I'm getting my inspo from haha
It’s possible to have a video like this but with brands in latam? (I’m from Chile)

Great video as always❤ Can we get a tote/backpack video for Summer?
Thanks a lot mate. I don’t really use them enough to make a whole video on them but I’ll include them in some videos for sure
Harry, what are your thoughts about the brand Filippa K?
One of my favorite brands is AURALEE. I love their relaxed fit clothing with nice qualities 😊
They do some nice bits

A weekly fashion related dad joke at end of the video would be funny 😅😅😅

I had a conversation about Kapital the other day with a guy at a second hand clothing store in Stockholm, interesting.
Great video Harry!!

Do you rate Aime Leon Dore and about blank ?
would also mention sefr and sunflower
Both great brands
I'm watching this in an M&S bra and neon green crocs

The Brits are awesome!! Carry on! Carry on!!
LOVE this type of video. Ami, APC and Maison Kitsune have been my favorites for the last year so this was fun to see other similar ranged brands
Pleased to hear
What brand is the left man in the thumbnail? I didn’t see it pop up in the video ?
It’s the last brand in the video
Considering the price ranges of the brands you showed us I wonder why you didn’t mention ALD, maybe because of the quality that’s sometimes poor?
I love their look books but I just don’t find myself shopping there these days.
I'd put Nanushka in this list
Maison Kitsune used to be so cool for me, guess I outgrew it
I absolutely don't have the money to spend on this kind of brand, but damn orslow looked amazing
They are great. One of those brands where you will have the piece for a very long time
when you do the T-shirt vid please review TRUSS (Japan) available from Marrkt

Stone Island
Fred Perry
Weekend Offender
Lyle & Scott
New Balance
The North Face

Love the vid ❤
Thanks a lot
Acne and Kapital are a cut above other brand for me
Orazio Luciano....

Thanks for the great videos!
I’ll check them out. Thanks mate
Where does "AllSaints" fit in? I don't think it's at the the accessible level of Uniqlo...
Some bits are great and some not so great. I’d say they are at the beginning of mid range
I think diesel should be on this list
Diesel is not mid tier luxury🤣🤣
How about Kenzo?
Not had anything from them as haven’t really ever seen anything I wanted
