The biggest change in my life has been an electric shaver. I am bald, and it was such a chore to shave my head everyday. Now I can shave my face and head in three minutes as part of a standard shower with no cleanup. It's a game changer.

I’m curious too. My beard destroys razors and the electric shavers I’ve tried too fast. I’ve gone to double edge and they seem to be the best for me but went back to just having a beard and a buzz cut every three weeks. I use a razor for details only. It would be nice to have another option.

I used to use Braun, but Braun stopped to deliver a really close shave maybe 15 years ago.
Panasonic did deliver. But blades and foils for my Panasonic are getting harder to buy, and more experience, year by year.
I'm a bit special. My skin can tolerate a beard only for a limited time. I'm 56 years old now, and "beard" is now a week, max, before I need to shave.
Naturally, my skin hates shaving. Shaving every day is...well, not as bad as not shaving for ten days, but it's not really fun either. Luckily, shaving once or twice a week looks reasonably good on me. As long as I wear t-shirts, formal shirts are a different story.
What I liked about the latest Braun I tried was that my skin had no problems with the shaving process. It was just that I couldn't wear a formal shirt with a necktie without getting mad. The shave just wasn't close enough.
Probably less of an issue today; at 56 years of age, people now often respect me without a necktie.

I'd recommend against plastic water bottles and instead go for glass or stainless steel. Even BPA-free bottles basically replaced BPA with other, less studied chemicals that will end up leaching into the water and end up in your body. Add to that all the recent news on microplastics found in our bodies and in the environment, I think the best idea is just to avoid plastic whenever there are practical alternatives available.

Instead of purchasing longer charging cables, I recommend using an extension board. Charging cables carry DC current, which is more susceptible to loss than AC, leading to slower charging. To mitigate this, the cable would need to be thicker and have lower resistance. Furthermore, replacing an extension board is much more cost-effective than replacing a charger. An added benefit is if the extension board includes surge protection.

Speaking about saving money - just one point about the sponsor of this video. In some countries, in mcluding where I live, you can get very good in-person (or via zoom) therapy services for less than BetterHelp charges. Therapy takes time, so an extra $10 per session ends up making a big difference if you do it for years.
No hate on them, maybe for US standards their prices are competitive, but I'm sure in many countries you'll be better off just visiting a therapist in person.

Can I just say, Philips is the way to go for electric toothbrushes. I've had two Braun ones in the past and both failed after a few years. The Philips is still going strong after 6 and is much better quality in the first place. The cleaning is better and it needs charging way less often. I also use the pickers, but I feel bad every time I do because it's so much disposable plastic.

I was recently researching this as I retired my Oral-B some months ago just prior to a vacation. I'm not sure how many years I had it; probably close to 10. I wound up getting the Sonicare 4100 this time around to try something new, though both seem to be well-loved by their respective camps.
I didn't love it from the start.... which was my fault. It has a 'sensitive' setting, which apparently is its default setting. Fortunately it was either the second or third time using it I hit the power button during brushing and the normal setting kicked in. That sucker vibrates your skull. Which is really the main difference: Oral-B for more spinning with a round head; Sonicare for a vibrating, somewhat traditional albeit smaller oval head.

Best and easiest place to get matching wood hangers on the cheap is usually Ikea. Not $50, but you never know if you catch a good deal, a travel steamer. A good portable/travel clothing steamer goes a long way. If you take a few neutral colored polos, tees, and a white or light blue OCBD shirt, and avoid sweating, you can expand your travel wardrobe for a good week. My spring and summer travel tops breakdown, (1) navy polo shirt, (3) tees - black, white, sky blue - works against my skin tone, (1) light blue OCBD shirt.

The Uniqlo Supima is a terrible t-shirt. In the UK the quality has plummeted and they’ve doubled in price in recent years. Despite washing on a very gentle wash the cotton becomes rough feeling after a couple of washes. After 5 or 6 washes the fibres start to twist and the neck and hem are completely misaligned, to be unwearable. A very expensive duster. Their heattech are my go to in the winter. They wash without any problems whatsoever. Zara basics slim fit are far superior for me. £12.99 compared to £19.99 for the Uniqlo. I would put a hair dryer as my biggest upgrade. I used to towel dry and my fine hair just looks flat and pretty much become a fringe after 5 minutes (they're just limply draping my forehead). Blow drying your hair just give it more volume and make it so much easier to style how you want it. Of course it would depend on your hair style though!

Contigo water bottle is durable. Seeing my father-in-law using it daily and the hook broke and pushed on until the some mechanism finally gave up due to age, after like 5+ years.
However, I don't like that one can't throughly clean evey inch of the botyle as you can't dismantle all parts for brushing. I came across the laboratory analysis on water bottle and mould growth by CNA Insider titled 'Is you reusable water bottle a hotbed for harmful bacteria & mould? "
The other recommendation you have is good.

I was always skeptible of "premium" boxers until I mistakenly bought a $13 pair that were on sale for $8. Since then I've been converted. But as you said, just because a pair of boxers exceeds $10 doesn't mean they're great for everyone. 32Degrees Mesh Boxers is my favorite budget premium brand. Separate is another one I've recently become fond of.
Contigo is a superb budget brand for water bottles AND travel coffee mugs. I also love how easy they are to clean/wash.
I like the idea of a mini pocket knife on a keychain, but having been stopped by over zealous TSA agents, I quickly abandoned this as I've had to part ways with these many knives on more than one occasion even after showing that the blade was much less than 2-inches.

    A few thoughts:
    1) Would not recommend BetterHelp. I understand the convenience and cost, but their business practices have not been kosher. Psychology Today has a huge network of psychotherapists for literally every need, and though you may pay more, it's worth it. Speaking as the brother of a psychotherapist and someone who's been in therapy for many years.
    2) I understand what you're saying about Contigo--but my toddler was able to destroy my Contigo, and so far my Hydroflasks are standing strong. So I'll stick with Hydroflask.
    3) People, please don't put supima cotton tees in the dryer. You'll shorten their lifespan exponentially. I find the Airism shirts are better from Uniqlo, anyway.
    4) 100% on good socks and underwear. Unless you're doing extremely physically demanding labour, paying a bit more upfront for comfort, sweat-wicking, durability is so much better. Not to mention most of the good brands of each have dependable warranties.

get a women's razor like gillete venus razor
its super smooth, no knicks and cuts unlike disposable razor, and it shaves cleaner than an electric shaver especially with uneven hair growth. Only thing I would say over circular or rounded parts of the area you're shaving you might not get it all in one shave sometimes, but hey it gets the job done clean & safe.

Pleased to say I’ve got a few of these. Best one is probably a night light. We bought a box of 2 off Amazon, they are circular and have that circle light effect. We mainly bought them because we have an en suite bathroom and it means we don’t have to find our phones in the middle of the night, or switch on the big light if we visit the bathroom!
Just a caution with long chargers. They are usually unofficial as I don’t think Apple sell any longer than 2m (not in the UK market anyway) which would be fine but we bought a pack of 3 that were something like 3m or 4m. Loved them for a while but one stopped working completely and another almost caught fire as my wife was using it! Needless to say we binned the remaining one 🤔🤨
I use an electric shaver but mostly just for the bits I’ve missed after wet shaving. I finish off with the electric. I hate shaving anyway so tend to try and string it out as long as possible but I only have to yawn and I grow stubble.

I only use stainless lined drinking vessels if I'm taking it outside of my house. It's just safer. I hope that didn't seem pretentious because plastic is a terrible way to store liquids that you intend to put inside your body. Contigo even makes good ones that are stainless on the inside.

Now that I'm 38 turning 39, married and just had a baby my interest in fashion has diminished a little. When I was single, I was into fashion, dressing, looking and smelling good because I wanted to impress women and my future wife. These days, I basically just buy clothes at Uniqlo and they are so plain. For a hobby, I began reading collecting books, especially antiquarian books, Books from the 1800's, 1700's even 1600's. Hunting and buying these books gives me serotonin because Im just at awe I own things that's more than a hundred years old. I also took up fishing and golfing as a hobby. These are the things I'm obsessed with these days. I still take care of myself, I still put the effort to dress well BUT I'm not obsessed with fashion that much anymore like I was when I was still single. This begs me to ask the question: Is being obsessed with fashion a single thing? Because you want to look good to impress potential partners. I mean, If we think about it, if there was no women, would men even out up the effort to look good?
