the black ones were nicer, these look good too, but the black looks a little meaner.
I reckon gold centers and leave the shiny lip would make it pop
the classic bbs chrome/gold center just look so good on most black porsches :)

Brush gold with chrome lip would give it an even look. The rims won't offset the paint.

Not too fond of the silver centers but the chrome and lip look great. Gold/bronze or black centers would look good or you could go all out with red centers :P

The ride height is spot on, I wouldn't change.
Black centers will make you happy. The touch of polish on the lip will be just enough. And making the centers black is easy enough for a instructional video too ;)
They look great as they are and 400 times better than the old balck wheels.

IT LOOKS SO SEXY. If you're liking the black on black, check into powdercoating just the faces of the wheels. I'm sure everyone likes the shine of the lips.
Chrome lips look really good on that era of porsches, black centre/chrome lip or gold centre/chrome lip, either look good on this.
I must say, you guys have one of the top automotive channels out. Now, Roadkill is awesome but in a different way. Keep up the good works fellas

The wheels look AMAZING!!! Fitment came out just right. I think they look great aluminum. Black on black is too murdered out for my taste.
Maybe u could power coat the centre of the rim black it would look nice

The wheels look great, but I would buy deeper dishes and get rid of the spacers. Deeper dishes would look sick... maybe also powdercoat the dishes black.

They look great Pete! No way I'd run a spacer with Rotis and clean offsets like that...nice and tight to the hubs with less hardware is my ideal. I think a nice powdercoat grey Center with polished hardware and Center caps might look a little more gnarly, but there's not a damn thing wrong with em!

I had guessed BBS and was pretty close. Love the look man, don't let anyone knock your choice. I have BBS wheels that look really similar on my black miata, reminds me of my own track build.

Oh my sweet Flying Spaghetti Monster! This mix of black tender lines of vintage Porshe and silver milled rims is absolutely perfect! Can you please instead of powdercoating them black get youself a white suit and mad shades?

me personally love it, but i would do 17x11 in back with lower offset so it'll have a deeper dish to it. keep up your guyses awesome work. learned alot from this channel.
I thought long and hard about it but then it gets into a too much dish in the back and not enough up front so it looks a bit awkward.

I love the mature choices you guys make everyone else always goes for the thinnest Tire with the largest wheel yours is a sensible setup for grip and super thin tires just don't look right on classics

Wheel fitment looks spot on man. Math for wheels can sometimes be tricky, but I feel like you nailed it. Got lucky with that rear fitment for sure. Great tire choice as well. I think with the rear tire slightly stretched it will pull your side wall down a touch. Coilovers will really bring the setup together. Are you going to be willing to cut/trim/roll fenders if needed? Keep up the work man, car is looking good 👍👍
275 is as wide as I really wanted to go without raising the tire profile so there is a bit more stretch then I want. Im hoping to not have to cut or trim any of the body but I can foresee some rubbing when I go lower.

Looks great! Definitely better than the old black ones. It's always nice to retain some sidewall on a classic car. Too much of a low profile tire is as bad as having massive truck tires. If ever you do go for a different set and still want something classic, I would look into the RUF style wheels if they're not overpriced.

i was skeptical at first, but they looked really nice once they were on the car. It accentuates the car really well, and i do agree powder coating them would make it twice as sexy.

I think it looks pretty good as is now. Its a similar silver color to my rs speedline replica wheels on my 993 , but if you're not fully in love with them then bbs gold/bronze might do the trick. I think black centers wouldn't look very good. The spokes would disappear when looking at the car from some distance, however, satin black spokes with black gloss lips would look killer over red brake calipers. just a thought. Have you gotten used to the power yet ;)?

I definitely like the Rotiforms on the car a lot better than the black stock rims.
I am not one for black on black. Sorry.
If I may, a little less spacer would seem to be better for fitment especially at a lower ride height.

plasti dip your rims with a rattle can to test drive the style then go for the powder coat. the add advantage is you can do a weekly neon colour change if you fancy such . plaus with the way it is applied no tape prep is needed just peel away the over spray
i like the look, I just suggest like gold, off-white, or something like a gun-metal. not black, the wheels should stand out a little.

I'd go for black spokes and a chrome or brushed lip, similar to the design of the fuch wheels originally on the car.
Looks good to me! I think black would hide the detail of the mesh design, but gold with the black bodywork would give a real classic look. Very jealous!

chrome lips setting right maybe powder coat center caps may bring out the look your seeking... but I think it looks pretty good I'd drive it with a coke and a smile lol
