Well, @legome_theog, the kid who did the lego animation actually was asked to do the animated sequence in the new Accross the Spiderverse after the producers saw his work on the trailer.

Just one tiny problem with the terrain generator. No instructions whatsoever. I have no idea how to add it to my scene and how to start using it.

The SDF modelling looks intriguing. It's a little bit like Metaballs in Blender.
If it's the method I found, it's called "Signed Distance Functions", sometimes also called fields.
I wonder if there's a way of adding this into Blender's geometry nodes if it's not there already.

You can do some sdf modeling in geometry nodes. Erindale explains it in their advanced geo nodes course, but I believe they also have some RUclips videos on it.

SDF Modelling is fantastic. Once you start thinking with volumes instead of meshes, it's a joy, epecially with organic and curved shapes. 🧱

One really great thing about sdf and metaball modeling is you end up with a totally clean mesh for 3D printing! I spent so much time learning how to deal with bevels and booleans using the 3D Print Toolbox and manual adjustment. Ugh. 🧱 ps been doing cgboost the tutorials you mentioned, they are a real pleasure and very helpful
