Wanna see more 107 Facts about your favorite anime? We are making them on Cartoon Hangover, with the first one being My Hero Academia! What anime do you want us to cover? Let us know! ruclips.net/user/CartoonHangover
I have to admit, when I played Yu-Gi-Oh with my friends, I always dramatically drew a card like Yugi does and would announce attacks like him. I'm that much of a nerd. Thanks for watching!
Alyssa Levenberg maybe it's me, but we're you dealing with a slight cold when you recorded this? is it sad that while I never got into any of the games, I just like the characters, monsters, etc...
"Draw your last pathetic card, Yugi" "My grandpa's deck contains no pathetic cards, but it does contain the unstoppable Exoida" "Ah, It's not possible" "I've assembled all 5 special cards in my deck" "Exodia, no one's ever been able to summon him" "Exodia OBLITERATE!"
You forgot: "All 5 pieces of the puzzle!" And I'm pretty sure it is "call", not "summon". Everything else was perfectly exact, though!!! (To the 4Kids dub. In the Japanese anime it was not "Exodia: Obliterate", it was the name of the attack: "EXODO BLAST!!!")
Wait this us 20 years onld?? I'm younger then the show, no wonder no one at my school knows what I'm talking about... dang I gotta this out to my gen it's so much better then the remakes of this show!
I remember reading somewhere that the reason Kazuki thought Joey was the best was: despite not having a magical advantage (like Yugi) or a technological/financial advantage (like Kaiba) he still somehow constantly makes it to the finals and just barley loses.
I can give 3 reasons why this is the best 107 facts ever... 1) Yu-Gi-Oh! is the best series ever! 2) The Yu-Gi-Oh! card game is amazing! 3) *Yu-Gi-Oh!* I have always loved Yu-Gi-Oh! since I was a small child and still love it to this day. Most people don't appreciate the newer series just because they are new and bring new stuff to the table. I think its a good way to keep the franchise going for newer generations, but keeping the older fans on their toes and bringing a new spin to the series. I have seen every series subbed and dubbed, this includes being up to date on Vrains and what we have of Arc-V's dub (even though I have seen all of Arc-V subbed I still like watching the dubs just because I am that kind of fan.) I love Yu-Gi-Oh! so much and can't wait to see where Vrains takes us.
Being Yugioh, this automatically get a like from me............... now do a 107 facts for all the other series. 107 for GX, 107 for 5ds, 107 for Zexal, 107 for Arc-V and a 107 for Vrains.... as by the time to get to that one there should be 107 facts you can cover.
Okay, this is very strange....I randomly thought of Yu-Gi-Oh last night and I've barely remembered a thing about it after all of these years. And now you guys posted this.
and it is funny how Link summoning that was suposed to Fix the "brocken" Pendulum(which wasnt realy brocken, it could be fixed with a few little changes(like the introduced change of the pendulum zone to the trap and spell card zone)) did breack the game even more
Yah... I mean how did it go from the shadow realm and Egyptian card games to some of the cutest duel monsters I've ever seen? It's digimon fusion all over again.
It's funny how season 0 was in the horror genre yet all the rest of the series' had morals and lessons Yugioh - Camaraderie, friendship, etc. Yugi growing as a person evidenced in Yugi vs. Atem ex. Him and the pharaoh making each other better people teaching each other friendship and bravery, respectively. Gx - Seasons 3 and 4 Jaden was such an upbeat person but losing all his friends and stuff made him pretty much an emotional teen and his final duel with Yugi reminded him of the fun in dueling and reminded him to be true to himself. I'm too lazy to do 5Ds and Zexal though I know there are morals in there and I really want to get to arc-v Arc-v - Yuya's duel with Jack taught him to be himself and not copy his father, he did what only he could do entertaining people his way, etc.
I wish they had left it at zexal honestly, it's the best one out of the remakes I mean reboots. But I will always have the original intro song in my head and I love it
Both of my older brothers became interested in this card game when they were really young and they introduced me to it as well. The same goes for Pokémon. Though my brothers and I aren't into this card game and series anymore, it was a part of my childhood memories that I will never forget.
I'm a big fan of yu-gi-oh! I've watched the show millions of times before, collect the cards, and a bunch more! I'm glad we can now have a 107 facts for yu-gi-oh
Don't forget the new movie takes place 6 month after the manga; not the anime. Theres a load of reason why but the major plot reason leading up to movie is that seto never got to see the pharaoh due yugi and didn't get this final duel; this is his motivation to create his space bridge.
Saransh Khanna Crunchyroll only has up to episode 120 where Yugi and them get trapped in that virtual world by Noah I think the kid's name was. They don't have anything after that for the original Yugioh series
Justin Collins you can try to watch the show on kimcartoon that site might have all of the episodes. I'm not sure though you would have to check it out.
I'm an English teacher at a high school in Japan and I have a student who is obsessed with Yu-gi-oh and draws characters and his own manga for it any chance he gets. He started out the school year very shy, but when I told him I liked the kuriboh he drew on his name card, I basically became one of his favorite teachers for just knowing about Yu-gi-oh. Now he's been practicing English by watching the Yu-gi-oh movies in English, so I'm just happy he can be motivated to learn through this show.
His name isn't yami. Yami is used to describe someone with the spirit of a millennium item possessing them. Like Yami Yugi, or Yami Marik. The pharaohs real name is Atem
I did not have many friends that wanted to play "Yu-Gi-Oh!" in my youth, but I loved the subbed Japanese version along with collecting cards. The game is beyond me at this point but this definitely brought back the memories of a simpler and more fun time in my life and in the game. Thank you for that!
Saul Muratalla Fact 109 the anime studio who did and producen the yugioh anime was studio gallop,a studio who were known............................... Nothing, just known For work on the in-between animation for ghibli movies like castle in the sky and kiki's delivery service
in buddyfight X they had Gao possess a person named gaito with giant hair and they said that their hair was heavy xD poking fun at the usually giant and hilariously shaped anime hair
I love duel monsters! At first, I didn't know what the gameplay was since I was still young but luckily I met another yugioh fan who taught me to play the game around 5th grade. I met plenty of friends who loved yugioh, but also met at least one who had cheated me out of a trade for weak monsters I couldn't use and spell cards I would never use while he got one of the strongest monsters I had. But I still enjoy playing a game and my blood gets pumping when I find a new challenger.
Number 27: Wha- Oh. OH. OH MY GOSH! I DON'T BELIEVE IT! The man who designed Yami/Yugi has trouble drawing his hair too! *It's not just me!* [happy sobs]
In my school, we don't have many people who actually play or even heard of yu-gi-oh. the ones of us who do play yu-gi-oh had started a tournament and I have been nicknamed "Queen of Games" because they said that I almost always get out of a bad situation and win like yugi did in the animie.
I've only just gotten into Yu-Gi-Oh, about 3 or 4 months ago. And I really regret not getting into it sooner because I love it so much! And there's so much to it that I need to learn!
Yu-Gi-Oh is one of the reasons why my dad would spend time with me Saturday mornings. It's because he always had to work the night shift and I never got to see him. But thanks to Yu-Gi-Oh, my dad and I share a strong bond over it. I now have the entire series, own over 5,000 cards, and have participated in tournaments. Plus, I bought all the video games for it as well. Yu-Gi-Oh will always hold a special place in my heart. ❤️❤️❤️
Was fangirling so bad when I saw this on my list of videos to watch because this and the Original Pokemon are the reason I watch anime today. Great memories of getring up earily on a Saturday this, GX, and 5Ds on 4Kids back when we didn't have cable.
And here's also another fact about Yu-GI-Oh,As confirmed by Satoshi Kuwabara(one of the producers of the anime),The "Number" monsters from Yu-GI-Oh Zexal are not chosen randomly but are decided "carefully with attention to details, so that fans can enjoy it in various places", which often results in puns and second meanings for each "Number".Those cards were created to be enjoyed by fans all over the world.
Fun fact: 4Kids never reported Yugioh the Abridged Series on copyright strikes. They were secretly huge fans of the series. The executives meet LittleKuriboh at a convention and were happy to meet him, but the executives at Konami were furious and hated him.
Miho-chan only appeared once in the manga as a single shot love interest for Honda-kun. It was the chapter that brought Yuugi and Honda together as friends. The message puzzle was meant for her, not Jounouchi. I love season 0 and manga so much.
ATTENTION Fredarator! My Hair should've made this list but RUclips had to make me cut part of it out for my profile photo. Also, My hair loves this Video! Keep up the Excellent work! Also, My Hair is a Subscriber to this channel.
Nice except no mention of the shadow realm not existing in the Japanese version and being an English censor creation, causing big story shifts. Also Noah Kaiba is their step brother, not cousin lol Also the description says "Darkwing Duck is property of The Walt Disney Company" talk about a little known crossover!
I am so happy to see this done but the huge fangirl in me wants to say that Noah was Gozubaro's real son (in the anime) so he would have been the adopted brother to Seto and Mokuba not their cousin. But once again I am so happy to see this done and actually learned some things!
The "largest trading card game tournament" record was lamost broken by magic the gathering in 2015, with Gp Las Vegas 2. However, at the least minute they had to split the 1 tournament into 2 because their system for determining matchups couldn't handle that many. They had a 3864-person and a 3687-person, and if the 2 had run togethor it would have been a 7,551-person tournament

Man I used to love this show. What a great childhood
Most of the sequels aren't bad either. I love GX more than the original tbh.
GX and 5d was my childhood lol
YES! SAME HERE!! Duel Monsters, GX, and 5Ds were my childhood!!!!
Still like this one, GX, and part of 5Ds
I found the anime quite dark for me. I hated the first movie as I had nightmares after watching it.
"Draw your last pathetic card, Yugi"
"My grandpa's deck contains no pathetic cards, but it does contain the unstoppable Exoida"
"Ah, It's not possible"
"I've assembled all 5 special cards in my deck"
"Exodia, no one's ever been able to summon him"

I remember reading somewhere that the reason Kazuki thought Joey was the best was: despite not having a magical advantage (like Yugi) or a technological/financial advantage (like Kaiba) he still somehow constantly makes it to the finals and just barley loses.

Little_ NightFury17 i think about yugioh everyday
Okay
KaibaCorp same
Yugi: Get your game on!
Jaden: Let's rev it up!
Yusei: It's time to DU-DU-DU-DEUL!
Me: wut...

I can't imagine this at all lol.
I still play yugioh from time to time though honestly the game has changed far too drastic for my liking. Pendulum broke the game honestly
The Fallen - Agree
and it is funny how Link summoning that was suposed to Fix the "brocken" Pendulum(which wasnt realy brocken, it could be fixed with a few little changes(like the introduced change of the pendulum zone to the trap and spell card zone)) did breack the game even more
Agreed. I think it takes some fun out of it.
the counters, synchro,pendulum,xyz thing.. ;(
Yah... I mean how did it go from the shadow realm and Egyptian card games to some of the cutest duel monsters I've ever seen? It's digimon fusion all over again.
It's funny how season 0 was in the horror genre yet all the rest of the series' had morals and lessons
Yugioh - Camaraderie, friendship, etc.
I'm too lazy to do 5Ds and Zexal though I know there are morals in there and I really want to get to arc-v
Arc-v - Yuya's duel with Jack taught him to be himself and not copy his father, he did what only he could do entertaining people his way, etc.
Season 0 had stuff like that and if it had continued I'm sure we would have had more development.
I wish they had left it at zexal honestly, it's the best one out of the remakes
I mean reboots. But I will always have the original intro song in my head and I love it

17:50 Noah was their adoptive step-brother, not their cousin
Ah, it was like a weird half brother thing. WHY DIDN'T I CORRECT IT!
Melooffee step brother to be exact (Kaiba and mokuba are adopted)
Thank you, I couldn't find the word in English (there is none in my language for that)
She also said Gozaburo was their grandfather instead of their adopted Stepfather
Don't forget the new movie takes place 6 month after the manga; not the anime. Theres a load of reason why but the major plot reason leading up to movie is that seto never got to see the pharaoh due yugi and didn't get this final duel; this is his motivation to create his space bridge.
I love how Takahashi describes Marik as "a rude guy who barges into peoples' minds".
I wish they showed re-runs of this. Also the intro was amazing
Just watch it on Crunchyroll
Justin Collins Nick did show reruns of seasons 2,3,&4 a few years ago
Saransh Khanna Crunchyroll only has up to episode 120 where Yugi and them get trapped in that virtual world by Noah I think the kid's name was. They don't have anything after that for the original Yugioh series
Justin Collins you can try to watch the show on kimcartoon that site might have all of the episodes. I'm not sure though you would have to check it out.
Thanks for all suggestions 👍

His name isn't yami. Yami is used to describe someone with the spirit of a millennium item possessing them. Like Yami Yugi, or Yami Marik. The pharaohs real name is Atem

Yami Bakura needs to return if they make a new movie
I don't think I've found a stronger friendship in any other anime.
I'm kinda disappointed that you didn't use ZexaL's number fonts since there are only 107 number cards.
İsmail Kerem Kabil that would have been really clever
I agree!!
they haven't watched it I think I mean that would be nice for zexal but not for the original :v
İsmail Kerem Kabil I've been colkecting numbers for 2 years. Only got 11 so far :/
I bought the "Duel Art" book at Momocon and it really made me appreciate this series because how good their designs are.

No one knows
Lemme think about that
you know when you play the game long enough that seeing someone holding unsleeved cards gives you anxiety hoping they aren't any valuable cards
Finally !! Been asking for this for so long. You guys are awesome.
I love duel monsters! At first, I didn't know what the gameplay was since I was still young but luckily I met another yugioh fan who taught me to play the game around 5th grade. here's a question: what if 4kids had named Joey something like Bill or Bob?
I'm glad he's still invested in his creation even 20 years later. Good for him!
I love Yugioh:D
It's a miracle that Yami Yugi can win that much, with his deck it's no wonder that he is king of games

Drinking game for everytime she says Yu-Gi-Oh
Oh my childhood, man, I remember watching yugioh when I was 4, now I'm going to turn 19 in April. Jesus, time really does fly.
Let's all agree, Dark Magician is the best Yu-gi-oh card and that fact won't be changed.
Fun fact: 4Kids never reported Yugioh the Abridged Series on copyright strikes. They were secretly huge fans of the series. The executives meet LittleKuriboh at a convention and were happy to meet him, but the executives at Konami were furious and hated him.
That doesn’t surprise me, 4kids have a sense of humor
CHILDREN CARD GAMES ON MOTERCICYLE
Silver Moon101Undertale tell that to yusei!
this takes me back. I remember how much I loved playing this game especially with my friends when I was in the 2nd grade.
hey I made TONS of friends when I was a kid because of yu-gi-oh!
Rip to the creator for saving another's life he passed away
Nice except no mention of the shadow realm not existing in the Japanese version and being an English censor creation, causing big story shifts. Also Noah Kaiba is their step brother, not cousin lol
Also the description says "Darkwing Duck is property of The Walt Disney Company" talk about a little known crossover!
I am so happy to see this done but the huge fangirl in me wants to say that Noah was Gozubaro's real son (in the anime) so he would have been the adopted brother to Seto and Mokuba not their cousin. But once again I am so happy to see this done and actually learned some things!
Never clicked a video so fast in my life
MrAwesome 'N Mario360 xD
25 years of Yugioh
107 facts about the Yu-Gi-Oh! spinoffs please
I remember when I was a kid, I would get grounded so many times for binge watching this show! 🤣
I feel like the first three series are the best the original GX and 5D
Zayne Jaber ikr!!
Zayne Jaber nah zexal is
Zayne Jaber GX's only good character development was judai
Zayne Jaber 5D's main protag was a perfect mary sue with no actual development and at the end was to dependant on stardust dragon
Edgy Memer hey thats just my personal opinion
When I was a kid, whenever I would play with my friends we would sometimes flinch like they do in the show whenever our life points went down.
So no one is gonna talk about when Jaiden dualed Yugi in GX?
The "largest trading card game tournament" record was lamost broken by magic the gathering in 2015, with Gp Las Vegas 2. However, at the least minute they had to split the 1 tournament into 2 because their system for determining matchups couldn't handle that many. They had a 3864-person and a 3687-person, and if the 2 had run togethor it would have been a 7,551-person tournament
