I’m a T2D, eat low carbohydrate high protein. I do not inject and have 1 tablet, Empagliflozin. It is not possible to eat a ‘normal’ good food diet as lot is high carb.

You're assuming that the crap that most people eat is "normal food"?

      It has become ‘normal’

@@bulkbiker I’m not sure who this video is for. I have T2D on Empagliflozin and control what I eat to keep my numbers as low as possible but recently been warned against keno acidosis, a serious problem combined with the type of drug I have. If you need good advice and information, join the diabetes groups.

She says we need to eat essential foods but there are no "essential carbohydrates" so they do not need to be consumed.

She seems to be saying that oil and salt are causal of diabetes?

🤦‍♀️ The pancreas is damaged, the islets of Langerhans. Sugars, carbohydrates turn into sugars in the body. Over the years we have been eating far to many carbs, refined carbs. I’ve found even wholemeal/wheat bread is still high carb, just processes slower. I limit quantity. Lot of our food is over processed and over pesticide sprayed. Soil is lacking in good nutrients, full of pesticide and other chemicals. Pure unadulterated food is what we need - LOW CARBS.

Reduce portions of carbohydrate.. but it's oil and salt that are the problems.. ?

We need some salt. There is a theory a lot of health problems are caused through not eating enough salt 🤷🏼‍♀️

@@bulkbiker My son has good science degrees and has had to look at his diet. He keeps telling me we do need salt, which I’m sure we do. Just too m,cut conflicting advice. Diabetes is different for each person, you have to see what affects you and what doesn’t. All sorts of things affect the levels, stress, lack of sleep, exercise, when you eat your main meal 😵‍💫 I have a lot of stress. My T2D appeared out of nowhere, wham, blue light job. I have found out that I have a Celtic genetic disorder, Haemochromatosis, Body overloads iron in the organs. Plus I reckon had nasty bought of covid. Apparently some vaccinations may have been a problem to. The HBa1C is the blood test they look at, mine was 134!!! WAY way high and why 🤷🏼‍♀️
