The truth has been spoken.
Better stay at home and prepare your own food.
@Future house cleaner
That's the point!
Eating a $5.00 McDonald's salad.
Big time conflicted!
"I have $20 for a blowjob."
"Hah! A blowjob is $200! Twenty gets you a kiss!" 💋
"Okay. How bout a long, low kiss?"

+Buff Dudes Dude, you should consider doing an audition for Thor if Chris Hemsworth ever retires
+Altaïr Ibn- La'Ahad lol agreed
+Altaïr Ibn- La'Ahad Or at least a stunt double loll
Olvi Langstrumpf IKR ?!
" but eating healthy food is expensive! "
" *well, so are the medical bills for diabetes* "
It isn't. I lost 100 pounds and I tell ya, yes, it's more expensive but you gotta remember that you'll a lot less so in the end, you save money. That's my case
@@aleky98 did you even read and understand the comment
@@aleky98 wtf?
Some of us "all-or-nothing" personality types can't do anything in moderation. If I eat only healthy foods with lots of veggies I can stay on track with my nutrition... but if I have any treats around the house, like chips or cookies, at some point I will eat them and not be able to stop. So I just don't buy those things. My will power holds up fine for a trip to the grocery store, but if I know I have treats around in my fridge, I will eventually break down and I will binge.
Try living with people who eat worse than you lololol
Yeah, that definitely complicates things. My girlfriend has to hide the snacks so I don't eat them all
@@thatshadyalchemist4488 my whole family😩
Treat yourself every now and then. Just dont overdue it. I went on a binge one weekend nearly gained all the weight I lost lol,
@@theeternalslayer I think the point he's trying to make is people like is can't just treat ourselves...it's an all or nothing attitude.
7:42 I love how he stumbles his words, calmly regains control and proceeds all in real time. A lot of people would have continued to deteriorate.
dudes, what about a vid with biggest bulking and cuting mistakes ? that'd great and really helpfull, stay BUFF!
That's a great idea Ayton.
Ayton Niño I agree, maybe Buff Dudes could make a video to help out skinny guys trying to build up mass
AletheAce It would be great to get their advice on this because there is so much conflicting (and bad!) information out there. One piece of advice I got from a protein company's website was so drink a bulk shake mixed with peanut butter just before bed.......to me that seems like it would equal belly fat. Better run that off then....oh wait better not...some other guy in some lame magazine says cardio should be avoided when bulking so you don't burn all your calories. Help us Buff dudes!
Actually, Athlean X made a great video where he proves that "you can't bulk and cut at the same time" is a fitness myth.
ManOfDeath567 No he says that you can build muscle and burn fat, I think this approach is better for athletes like me, I really couldn't get into bulking and cutting I have put an honest effort but didn't like it. I still see good results every month and Im not starving myself, I'm just not stuffing my face.
dont go to the grocery store hungry is high on my list of what not to do as well
dont go to the grocery store high is hungry on my list of what not to do as well
I'm glad Thor has taken time to descend from Asgard to inform and motivate people.
But seriously, nice vid.
One thing that worked for me was to cut one bad thing a month, replacing it with something else. First thing to go was waffles, then snack cakes, then soda, etc. When I started working out, I left my diet alone for a while and just focused my willpower on going to the gym on a schedule. Treat your willpower as a finite resource, and don't overtax it. That's what I did.
Ok
+JenoPaciano I am so glad I got to try this Weight loss green store tea. At first I was not sure if it would work, but actually am surprised that it did! The first day I got the tea, I made myself a cup. it has a very pleasant flavor. No strange after taste or aroma. Just a very nice tasting tea.
I try for one thing per month, that could be 12 bad habits a year. Caution though for any triggers because in the past I've come crashing back down after months of quitting stuff. Maybe it's just me though.
buck waffles!
that's cool dude. treating it as a finite resource :)
this is without a doubt my favorite fitness youtube.
eloquent speaker, with the right authority on the things theyre saying, not just some scrawny guy talking about getting buff, and a wide coverage,
thanks dudes!
I'm so glad you said ''Track your calories''
Because that's the #1 thing everyone should do to get an idea of nutritional value's
***** Really? I did not notice that.
...
DISSAPOINTEEEEED!
Gino Brouwers I have to burn 3,445 calories a day, and eat 3,000 calories a day, to keep my weight. So it won't drop.
Andiee Martinez then eat 2,000 calories a day...

Awesome video guys. Excellent communication from Hudson as usual
I love your guys videos!! So much good info on all your videos!! Thank you 👍🏽
I've been a "buff dude" for over 8 years. I have to say, this was a very well-made, concise video. I wish I had seen this back when I began. Great stuff.
Thank you Dan!
Thanks for the tips, Thor.
you guys are very kind for all these very good advices you post, thank you kindly
Very solid well presented video. Just subscribed.
Great video. The last tip gave me a fresh perspective and I think you focused on the root of many peoples' problem. I know it might be obvious for others but I never thought of just buying enough to keep a supply of good food available so that I don't HAVE to run somewhere and get it (either supermarket or take out). It's easy to not think that far ahead and overlook a simple and practical solution. Thanks guys.
Robert Rivera Some things can be made in mass and can be frozen:. beans, soups, marinara sauce, chicken. I grill 4 family packs of split chicken breasts at a time, put them in individual bags and freeze them. It's the same thing as buying precooked chicken in the freezer section for 1/4 of the cost.
"No Fad diets!" and then you look over to the right as see all the suggested videos from Freelee the Banana girl and Mike Chang. Oh youtube.
bigjew899 I'm inclined to agree, oddly enough. Everyone hates the shit out of Mike Chang, but I find Freelee way more insufferable.
bigjew899 Just like Uncle Grim, I agree, oddly enough.. Hate Mike Chang and how false and misleading he is, but freelee is on a whole other level of ignorant
mike chang gets so much hate comparing to freelee is because he has been longer here ... they're both full of shit , but mike is much more famous and that resulting him influencing beginners with his bullshit ... i myself when i first started i was subscribed to mike's channel i thought he realy knew what he was talking about , what can i say i was a beginner trying to add some size at that point , but when i started doing some real research on fitness and diet in general , man it opened my eyes , most of what mike chang says is complete bullshit or obvious knowledg like him saying : if you wanna big legs do squats ... you dont say ! and dont even get me started on his miracle working supplement !
darkman619x
Yeah I understand that, but in the end he's just trying to make money. Freelee on the other hand is trying to make money AND make people feel bad for not supporting her. Look, InfiniteElgintensity makes fun of both, right? I imagine Mike Chang would probably laugh along while Freelee goes out of her way to actually be offended by it. This has actually been proven too, as Freelee's manbitch Durian Ryder has sqwaked at Elgin several times over social media.
*****
Well the main reason why Chang is so disliked is because his videos tell the viewer that supplements suck...except HIS. It's hypocrisy at its finest. But like I said, he's just trying to make money and not trying to make people feel bad for not doing things his way like Freelee.
You guys are straight to the point and are really helpful.
Great tips buff dudes. Keep the good stuff flowing!
Number 9 reminded me of Gatorade. The bottles say something like 85 calories, but then it says two servings. Who would only have half of a gatorade??! Maybe they changed it by now, but I always thought that was ridiculous.
Well if its one of those big gatorades then 2 servings sounds right. If its one of those bite sized ones though then yeah thats a bit much
I used to mix my gatorade with water
Don't you have a standard serving for everything in the USA? In Europe each packaged food has info about 100g, so it's easier to compare foods.
I'd prefer to avoid anything from coca cola
You look like Thor
Jk s Haha i was gonna say thanks chris hemsworth
the other dude looks like wolverine
+Muhammad Zulazhar Damn right
+JoshNC5 IKR!!! That's what I was thinking! XD
He is Thor.
Great tips, thanks BUFF DUDES!
love the info youre putting out guys, and explaining the details so that everyone can understand it well is great. love this channel so much
From a woman's perspective, I enjoy watching your videos. Helpful, motivational, and you guys are amusing. Great job buff dudes ☆
Lol 7:45 . great video though. Learned a lot. thanks buff dudes!
Ha, yeah goofed on that part. :( Glad you liked the vid!
Im a big fan of your videos. Keep up with the excelent work you´re doing!!
You guys are great, I recommend you to everyone. Keep up the good work and keep the videos coming.
When someone says eating healthy is too expensive, I encourage them to track everything they eat during the week and price it all out. Junk food, eating out, and alcohol add up, and add up super quick. It's all about tracking where your money goes. It isn't that eating healthy is more expensive, because it's not, it's that people don't want to spend their money on healthy foods.
7 Rolly Things & Games Yup 👌
Thanks for the video. This is Just what I needed.
Glad we could help Juan!
just discovered this channel, whatched 4 videos.. and i subscribed straight away! much love!! buff dudessss
love this video! just started working out and also trying to eat healthy. this video was totally what i needed. thanks!
I think for most of us number 10 is the most important thing. And also, go to the grocery store after you've had your dinner. Not before.
+Maximilian Wicén Sure, because when you're hungry you buy all sorts of useless stuff.
+Maximilian Wicén Going to the store when hungry leads to buying something you can cook fast...or a candy bar. "oh I'll just have this candy bar before I cook my food" It's such a common mistake.
Plague Doc Which is what I wrote.
Maximilian Wicén I was simply going more in to detail.
Maximilian Wicén I usually do my shopping after lunch.
Artificial refined sugar is terrible... Same for high fructose corn syrup... But natural sugar from fruits, vegetables, and starches are good.
But only because they are encased in fiber and therefore slow digesting
There's still fructose in fruits. Drinking apple juice is as bad as coke because there's no fiber.
Great entertaining video presenting the science in an comprehensible way.
"Going to a fast food for a salad is like going to a prostitute for a hug".Haahahahahaha!
Number 10 has beena goldmine for me. From kfc or nandos lunch to premaid healthy meals
Great video, you dudes are the most down to earth legends on the tube
This is very helpful and informative. Much appreciate it guys.
i dont think eating healthy is expensive, i cook for more than 1 day and save money more than eating unhealthy
123requiem1 thats why you work and work hard for the stuff you buy. Its also cheaper than getting sick from all the cancers and diabetes you can get from eating unhealthy food.
I've never understood. I spend $60-$80 AUD a week for me, my partner AND my Rottweiler. I have no idea what people buy when they consider to be healthy? I'm vegan so in order to maintain I need certain things and I feel in no way limited. Plus, I have bought meat before as my partner ate meat for the first five years of our relationship so I know very well what an omnivores shopping list is like... I save so much damn money comparatively.
lazer arrow Cooking from scratch is cheap! Split pea soup costs me about 50¢ a serving. Buy veggies in season and when on sale, find when meats go on sale at your local grocer. Tonight's dinner was grilled chicken over a mixed greens and barley salad. Cost: $1.50/person.
Can you guys explain about training to each body type? Ectomorph, endomorph & mesomorph, in my gym they usually say is not good at all train every day, because i'm a "ectomorph" and with that i will burn muscle, instead gain muscle.
Two days is the max who i should train sequentially?
Another doubt, i can't train chest and shoulders together? (i mean in the same day)
Sorry my english guys.... I hope you guys understand
That makes no sense, whoever is giving you that advice, you should stop taking advice from. You can train 4-5 days a week no problem. Dont go EVERY day, you arent getting payed for it. 4-5 days a week and training each body part TWICE a week is what's good. Also you dont burn muscle if you train more as an ectomorph lol. As an ectomorph your only problem is gaining size which means you need to train hard and eating a bit more like 300-400 more calories than your maintenance calories.
U can go to the gym us much as u want but eventually it will catch up to you. When u start to feel tired and maybe hit a plateau, u can take a week off or a deload week, when you train with a low percentage of your max effort. The most important thing is that you're getting better and stronger in the gym, then the aesthetics will follow naturally.
Eat more food... Train hard like everyone else
Not rocket science
Diavolo222 When you say "train hard", you mean more weight and less repetition?
(Man "i eat a lot", at least 3h)
André Luiz train hard means going to the gym and not half-assing it. Also no you should do between 8-12 repetitions for 3-4 sets for most exercises, I'm sure you can find plenty of info on workouts on the net. Hell, this channel is full of it.
Best videos out there. Helpful for normal people with normal workouts and normal eating habits. Keep it up!
This is a great nutritional video in general regardless if you're going for buff or just plain healthier eating! Loved how simply everything is explained and all the tips are fairly basic but often forgotten. Great informative video.
Close your eyes, imagine him saying "why dont you take a seat, right over there"
Thank me later
YOU FORGOT TO SAY "girls only"!!😂😫
+Hisham Mustafa Why girls only?
8, 12, 15 beers?! Holy smokes, Batman!
Buff dudes might be my new favorite fitness channel! You guys are awesome!
You guys covered everything being said in my Sports Nutrition class. Good info!
Buff Dudes, & Buff Dudettes.
Have a cheat day once a week can help to lose weight. I did it and it work for me. I just go back to my normal eating healthy habit and working out. It doses work. It's a good reward too for all the work you did all week.
shock the system
Cheat day or cheat meal?
Cheat day. The whole day of just eating what ever you want. Once a week can really work. Try it.
You're very right! I did that and I lose five pounds a week!!
Ivan Nešković It depends, if you're maximazing your diet and eating really low carbs then you must have a cheat day, but otherwise i suggest 2-3 cheat meals a week.. and use those cheat meals after a really hard workout like legs.. but plan the cheat meal before hand so you dont overuse it
Thank you so much... Loved the video.. Very informative..
great video dudes! please do more videos!
I have a simple rule when buying food. Don't buy anything that has more then 5 ingredients. And don't buy stuff where you can't pronounce the ingredients.
You're a fucking idiot. You probably only eat "organic" food too.
Not sure how either of those two things makes me an idiot but no i dont only eat organic food. I prefer it if my veggies are from the farmer in our village but this day and age you simply cant get everything you want to eat next door. Also i'm in germany, how am i gonna get my hands on a Mango here? The only way i can is to get one from the super market which propably has GMO written all over it and i don't care. You know why? Most things you eat are GMO, most of the time, that is to say, unless they poisoned it, they are harmless. But still a GMO Mango is still just a Mango and doesn't have stuff added to it for which you need to be a chemist to know what they are. fps_dan
My pronunciation is very good
You mean i can buy peppah and solt
@@robinpowell1185 😂😂 what is that spelling.
No the worst is whenever some idiot asks me to spot him on bench, and ends up trying to show off by just throwing as many plates as he can on, and now I have to set a new deadlift record to make sure this guy doesn't fucking die.
Hmmm, where have I heard that?....Could it be brosciencelife's video "Yo can I get a spot".
piss off
Another excellent informative video!
So glad y'all doing great on the vids . gj and I enjoy the content abd info
My favorite "eating healthy is expensive!" Yeah, and how much do people spend a week on beer, cigarettes, sodium saturated throw-in-the-microwave frozen meals, and Mc-e-D's?
Yeah its still more expensive to eat healthy
2000cals of junk is like 2 dollars
Just cuz the unhealthy people eat 5 times as much to even out the costs
Regular cheese is 5.99 low fat cheese is 7.99 and its 50gs smaller
NEVER enter a shop when hungry!!
Awesome video guys!
I'd love to see a video along the lines of "how to read/understand the nutritional facts food products".
What to avoid and what to look for
Great video! Really helpful as all your videos! But What about how many times we can eat daily?
"But eating healthy food is expensive..well so are the medical bills from diabetes"
7:43
I'm guessing they forgot to cut that part out lol
Yes they are humans :)
Ha, yeah just realized that...oops.
Buff Dudes I thought it was funny, but you recovered well
Solid, no nonsense, easy to understand for all, great video!
Subscribed. Been watching a few videos, the advice you guys give is very practical. Definitely heeding your advice. thanks dudes
Liquids calories is where I fall off. Dr.pepper and Mountain Dew are my kryptonite. I drank a 2 liter of mountain dew yesterday and felt the guilt with every sip. D': Anyways, great vid. You guys and Elliot Hulse are what inspires me to get healthier. Keep it up, dudes!
I used to drink a lot of pop as well. I bought a 1L water bottle and fill it up with ice water whenever I can. I barely drink anything else anymore.
You gotta quit the soda man. That shit is terrible for you (and your teeth). Try squeezing a slice of lime into tonic water with ice. It gives you that refreshing fizz with a citrus pop and zero calories. Hot herbal tea with honey is great in the winter. You won't love it at first, but it will grow on you and eventually, you won't even crave soda anymore. Worked for me.
never heard of zero?
Martin Samcrown What?
Mudkip drpepper zero, mountain dew zero..
Eating healthy is the toughest part for me especially cause of my budget 😞
+Jorge Gallardo try eating forced meals while living with ur parents....
+AidosTheMan your so right man
^ .. there is nothing what so ever better than your parents food. idc what it is. your parents are a blessing.
Great tips BUFF Dudes!
Been watching a lot of your videos and I am starting to apply what i see in them. From all of the youtube channels i have seen about fitness, this has been the best.
You're doing it all wrong... If you are going for the Buzzfeed click-bait title, you have to have every letter in uppercase
"Number 7 will leave you in tears and make you question everything you've ever loved!"
Ha! Can't hate you for doing a marketing technique which obviously works. Keep up the crazy video frequency you've been doing lately!
ha, thanks Ethan. :-) Actually a parody video on clickbait titles might be pretty funny...
I think the eating healthy thing being more expensive is bullshit. Because if you break down the amount of money you'll spend on eating one day on healthy food vs how much you'll spend on eating at mcdonalds for one meal alone it will be cheaper for the healthy food. Granted me only having been doing all this stuff since the beginning of the year and not being able to afford like all organic stuff like I should be. I'm just buying pounds of chicken and unsalted veggies from walmart. Honestly 40 dollars of actual food that is good for me to keep my metabolism going compared to how much i'll spend on fast food is crazy. Like 60 dollars of meat and another 20 dollars of canned non salted veggies and a 20lb bag of rice has lasted me almost a month. The bag of rice with the pro portions I use on it will last me damn near 6 months.
Depends where you live, some places are cheaper. Also some people eat more calories to so that equals more food. It ain't to bad thou
Great info thanks buff
dudes
One of the best Fitness Channels on RUclips. With every Video I'll get one step closer to be a Buff Dude!
After experiencing half a year now I started lifting freeweights... I have to say squats and deadlift are pure freedom.
One of my food tips: Take care of digest-friendly food and food that is good for your stomach (not too much salt or acid, not every meal should be heavy) also you have to eatveggies and fruits even if you dont think that it will improve your gains in the moment!
Watched this while eating 2 sandwitches with doritos at midnight.
What is the difference between buff and bulk?
google bulk
VrigeHD Wow, thanks... fuckin useless
MrShitConnection well... You're just being lazy
Bodybuilders usually 'bulk' in the winter months and 'cut' in the summer months. Basically, bulking is when you eat a lot of food and gain a large amount of muscle in a relatively short period of time, however, often you'll also get a bit more fat on you. A buff physique is basically what you get after you've bulked enough and then gone through a cut (a time where you watch what you eat more closely and lose the fat you accumulated while bulking); in other words, a lean, muscular physique.
Hope this helped.
He was refering to "Dirty Bulking" which is the eat-whatever-you-get-your-eyes-on kind of approach where bodybuilders get really fat and rock a big ol' belly THEN spend 4 months or so cutting, versus "Clean Bulking" where you have a small caloric surplus to build muscle slowly but surely and stay lean year-round, thats what he calls Buff.
Been contemplating a lifestyle change an lifting was my exercise of choice. Found you Buff Dudes on RUclips an couldn't stop watching. I subscribed an am anxious to being my total body & mind transformation!! Thx dudes!!
Incredible video, straight to the point and no BS. You have my like sirs
are you secretly brad pitt
GMO is not unhealhty or bad, when will people get this?
It's in the media a lot and has become a catch all for GMOs. They are not bad or unhealthy, but fuck Monsanto and their bullshit practices of basically destroying farmers independence. Oh and I don't want fly larvae DNA in my tomatoes.
karma's a bitch Why do you care if they add in one extra gene to make it a lot better. It doesn't matter, because we have like 98% of our DNA similiar to other living organisms. And it does not destroy farmers independence, vice versa, it makes the shit they grow a lot more reliable so they can get more money. Do you know what GMO is? Do you even science, bro? Get your facts straight.
Rasmus Brevik Taking genes from an animal and putting it into a plant is some weird shit. I don't care if they cross breed different plants, but fucking with the DNA when they don't know the long term implications of it is not for me. It might be healthy it might not be healthy I don't really know. I just pay more for non gmo because don't want to take that gamble.
karma's a bitch You know that animals and plants DNA is ridiculously similar? And yeah, that's some weird fking shit, but it's fking science. Sooner or later we all will die but I don't think GMO is going to kill us sooner. Okey then, pay for your non-GMO pussyshit. GMO isn't for weak virgins like you
Consider this, your body has a harder time digesting microwaved food due to the way it was heated, it's not natural and your body doesn't recognize it. Same with supplements you piss down the drain compared to eating whole foods.
You should stop pretending that you know better than everyone and look at studies and then look at who is funding the studies and make your best judgement. I don't care that you eat GMO, but to me it's worth the extra price and I believe you are ignorant. Do some research on high fructose corn syrup
Best video ever... thanks for your advice!😍
You guys are giving us so much knowledge and you are funny!!
So avoid beer and drink hard liquor instead?
no! hard liquor has more calories than beer!
+Cor Blimey not true mixed drinks has more calories but not straight liquor
1ml of beer has 2.8 kcal
1ml of whiskey/vodka/gin has 3.8 kcal
Source: www.drinkaware.co.uk/alcohol-facts/alcoholic-drinks-units/spirits/
www.drinkaware.co.uk/alcohol-facts/health-effects-of-alcohol/calories/calories-in-alcohol/
ml for ml beer is lower in calories, but in the amount the regular person consumes in a single sitting often means drinking beers will cause you to take on more calories.
....but you ain't going to be drinking 0,5L glasses of vodka or straight gin like beer, are you?
yeah bro vodka straight or with diet coke is key
wanna lose weight?
1.cut 500-600 calories
2.get 1,2-1,4 gr of protein per lb of bodyweight
3.get 20-30 grams of fiber a day
4.exercise
(5.intermittent fasting for many reasons but is optional)
there you go
how do any of you eat 260 grams of protein per day
wtf
100g chicken breast is not 100g protein, it's ~30g protein
1,2-1,4 isn’t nessecary. 0,8-1 gr is plenty. As long as you’re getting it from enough sources to make sure you’re also getting enough amino acids
Luv this! Sharing.
such great tips, thank you xx
Did he just call soda "pop"? *unsubscribes*
Mario Montilla Boi it's pop
agreed coke is pop
Artificial fats are bad, but the fat from meat is good for you. You do need fat to survive
lol
dr FeelGood cough heart disease cough
Yes. In moderation is key. A pound of bacon for breakfast is bad for you. One slice with your oatmeal is healthy.
Subbed. I've just started going to the gym and eating right. I think the key with food is making realisitc changes and making sure it is balanced. You guys seem on the level offering good advice. Thanks!
You're awesome! I love your channel
How is this not common knowledge?
Because some people are either too lazy to do the research, don't care enough to do the research, or don't think to do the research. Clicking this video would be a good place to start for those actually doing the research👍🏾.
It was more of a rhetorical question, but thanks for the explanation ;)
+euler Oh😟! Sorry! I come across a lot of commenters that genuinely don't understand how people are so ignorant about things that seem like common knowledge, and I sometimes like to provide a little perspective😌.
Hehe, no worries! Keep enlighten them!
euler if common knowledge was common them they wouldn't be taught anything. it should be called uncommon knowledge
Why does this shit need to be so complicated :(
It's really not
It's easy, just eat at a small calorie surplus for gaining muscle and small calorie deficit for burning fat. Don't eat super unhealthy but don't feel the need to eat super "clean" either.
welshdragon2008 Where's the contradiction?
welshdragon2008 hes talking about balance and moderation.
One of the best information loaded stuff on YT. Keep Rocking
Starting tomorrow I'm going to make changes and live a healthier lifestyle. You guys seem to give honest and straightforward advice. Subscribed.
How did I not discover this series earlier? Thanks for putting this series together!
This has to be one of your best videos, funny and informative.
Thank you so much buff dudes!!!
You guys have the most sensible information, love what you're doing! Keep it up!
Thanks for all the obvious tips that some people just can't accept. It's nice to hear someone come out and say it.
