Morning legends. Hope you enjoy the show! Just a heads up , the set isn’t fully finished yet, we ran out of time, but the nice finishing touches are on the way
Re. De Ligt, it's the medical staff's fault only. He had dried blood FFS. The medics told him to come off, and Pinnock scores from where De Ligt would've been.
By not finished i hope you mean the crates will be taken away and there is a nice set similar to the old one behind that. Looks awful. Great content tho, such a shame.
Not to be overly negative, but what was wrong with the old set that prompted the change? I liked the casual setting and different environment to other podcats
Whoever did this set clearly has no clue what they're doing. Its cold feeling, Its not open, you've literally put a wall between us and them. what is this!
I do not like the new set. Looks like you are in a crate, sounds like you are in a crate. Something odd about the proportions or perspective, light look like an afterthought Sorry just some feedback.
Hopefully new set will look good after the redecoration, but even with decoration, won't it just looks like everything's been covered up ? Feels like a 'wall' between them and us.
To be honest, after Fozzy's feet a few weeks ago it's quite nice to not have to see them for a while. But do agree. I like the sofa look more than the McDonald's corner in a cabin look.
When stones heads the ball silva is away from the keeper. He can’t be offside until the touch from stones so everything he done before stones heads it is irrelevent?
Silva is a sneaky weasel Ben, he's always at this nonsense and rarely if ever picks up a card. He's constantly in the referees face, or making clipping tackle or pulls back when players are on the counter. I don't know how referees haven't copped onto him
Ben is almost right, there is a foul on the Keeper but the offence is “Impeding the progress of an opponent without contact” The late City goal has nothing to do with Offsides (Law 11) It is a Law 12.2 offence (Indirect Free Kick). Does Silva Impede the progress of an opponent without contact? Was the Keeper’s path obstructed, blocked and slowed down while the ball was NOT within playing distance of either player? Yes, therefore foul on the Keeper, Indirect Free Kick
The ref subjectively should have given Saliba a red card. Given that he didn't, VAR should not have intervened as there was no clear and obvious error. The outcome is not frustrating as that's what you'd expect for the foul, but the process to get there and inconsistency between other incidents is. I want to watch games be won on merit. When results are constantly decided by controversial refereeing decisions, watching it becomes so dull.
The problem I have is, if this was a wolves player that done that to Ederson in the last minute that goal would have 100% been disallowed no questions asked!
@@xgoldenxviper9830completely different. They were all onside and didnt go out of their way to bounce the keeper. Also wasnt the last minute of the game.
Wish people would stop saying city are boring. It's not there fault every team plays all 10 players in there own box. It's that what can make it boring 🤷♂️
The problem with football is that it doesnt know if it wants to be a contact game or not. Contact is allowed in certain situations and others not. But there are no set rules for it. And corners are a mess.
Is it thought? Football is simply a contact sport to get the ball. Is that the case when player standing in an offside position sticking to goalkeeper instead?
@ironclad-m3q can't be offsides from a corner though, and silva is down and away from the keeper when stones touches it. So it's either a foul, which would be crazy soft or a goal because there certainly isn't offsides
The set is just as bad as that first take from Fozzy! Arsenal get praised every week for the same thing Bernardo Silva did, it’s just a well worked set piece. He got out at the perfect time. City shouldn’t be punished because Wolves didn’t put a defender on Bernardo, never a foul, never should’ve been disallowed.
If the Arsenal goal vs Man City where they screened Ederson from the ball is allowed then this goal is absolutely allowed. In the last Arsenal vs Man City match they genuinely obstructed Ederson but gave the goal anyways
You can see goalkeeper towering silva, he should of asked for defenders to watch him like every game. Im a mutual as don’t support either team but it was a goal straight away for me.
Watch, White with his leg placed inbetween Ederson's '5 hole', then turns his body bring the keeper down... Everbody applauding the Corner Tactics of Arsenal et al, has now brought us to this!
Foster keeps saying the red card is subjective... hes making it subjective by saying White will get back. Letter of the law says hes last man = red card, forget about the other players
Interesting perspetive on the Silva-Sa situation, but doesn't what you've said mean every arsneal goal from a corner should've been disallowed? The Arsenal players that circle the keeper and nudge into them, have no intention or care about the ball and so wouldn't this mean their tactic is also foul play? Initially as well, when Silva nudges Sa, this is done from an onisde position at first and so it can't be considered offside, but if you saying its a foul, then so is all the Arsenal corner goals.
From a Fulham fan - villa were another level above us on Saturday, miles ahead of us quality-wise and expect them to be top 5. We are massively missing Lukic and AP needs to stay off pens leave it to R7 🤣
And there’s still never been a 0-0 result since the new Tottenham stadium opened 5 and 1/2 years ago Fozzy which is crazy, guaranteed goals when u go there to watch a game
If you give that as a foul on Jose Sa then Arsenal shouldn’t be allowed to cross in a single corner. Every team nowadays nudges keepers at every corner and it is never ever given as a foul
Bernardo is onside till stones header and he is out of Sa’s vision when the header comes in and arsenal do it every corner and when does ben white go for the ball
@@cruelmolecan't be offsides from a corner and by the time stones touches it, silva is down and away from the keeper. It's either a foul and no goal, which is a soft call, or its a goal because there is no offsides that you can call on that play
The thing is , Chelsea dont really have many options available to buy a GK thats good enough for them.. Compared to Liverpool who currently have 3 keepers that would start for 99% of clubs Chelsea are really struggling.
Ben mate, I like you but we can’t be asking for fouls for minor physical contact that’s disrupts someone or prevents them from getting “set” as they want. If we do that, there will be 100s of fouls per game. With the Saliba red, if we start thinking about “this could happen, that could happen…” where does it stop? Evanilson could pull a hammy as he sprints so doesn’t get a goalscoring opportunity, he could slip and fall over, trip over his own feet but Ben White could also do any of those in trying to make up 30 yards 😂
The comments ripping on the set certainly do not disappoint 😅. For sure though, something needs to change about this set, maybe it’s the barrier or the red and beige, but soemthing is wrong.
why does everyone congratulate Villa and not talk about the ref killing the game with the Anderson red. Yes Villa were the better side as expected but Fulham were in that game until the red. Tbh even after the red they showed teeth. That Anderson challenge wouldnt be a yellow in another game, happens to Adama nearly every game.
Got to say, not a massive fan of the set, looks very cardboard like and a potential game show set. Much prefer the cosy living room vibe. But it doesn’t take away from the video you guys are still class.

Give the Fulham penalty taker a bit of a break. He's against the best keeper for penalties in the world. He probably sends most keepers the wrong way with that pen.
Nothing soft about Fozzies point, i am in total agreement, if Sa did what Watto said they'll have got a penalty for a foul, at the end of the day City were always going to get something..
Saying Ben white is one of the fastest players you’ll play against 😂 one of the worst football opinions going, he was on the opposite side of the pitch , no chance of getting back . Definitely a red card
If you guys are really talking about it being the letter of the law, then surelt Chelsea should have had a red card against Liverpool for a foul on Jota.
Utd did do it De Ligt got medical treatment by the medical staff 5 mins before so they had the opportunity to wrap a bandage around his head and chose not too. So they got what they deserved with them having to hook him again because the wound opened up again. No excuses medical Utd team at fault for that goal.
Ben sry but u r getting soft🤣Its difficult for me to say as liverpool fan but its a goal! Bernardo Silva wasnt offside in the moment of Stone's header and that quick moment with him and Sá wasnt enough to award it as a foul. These tackles happen every single game like u guys said and this was very slight touch by Bernardo Silva. If something it is Sá's mistake he let that little hobbit stay on him for that long. If that was Alison in goal he would have smashed his way through Bernardo Silva
Morning legends. Hope you enjoy the show!
Just a heads up , the set isn’t fully finished yet, we ran out of time, but the nice finishing touches are on the way
Gotta listen to Watto - get some soft furnishing in to bring the comfy vibes back
Looks like a game show in someone’s shed tbh

Fozzy went from having a nice living room feeling, to now feeling like they are sitting in a backroom at the local IKEA.
New set is a quiet corner in McDonald's?? 😅
Haha. That's a good one!
There's no such thing in that place!
Really, who designed it?😭😭
Budget cuts mean they need to upload via Maccies WiFi
Incredible 😂
That set looks absolutely disgusting guys
Not to be overly negative, but what was wrong with the old set that prompted the change? I liked the casual setting and different environment to other podcats
With Goldbridge gone the viewers asked Ben to get a bigger panel in, instead he got bigger panelling!
Why’s Goldbridge gone? I’m guessing a difference in schedules?
Whoever did this set clearly has no clue what they're doing. Its cold feeling, Its not open, you've literally put a wall between us and them. what is this!
Right?!?! Where are the sofas and coffee table. The kits in the back. Why make a podcast look like a news room?
I do not like the new set. Looks like you are in a crate, sounds like you are in a crate. Something odd about the proportions or perspective, light look like an afterthought Sorry just some feedback.
Its also very dark, in the corner, theres a literal wall between us and them. such a bad choice for them to do this
Are we sat in court lads? 😂

No chance you lads are comfy in that wooden box, get the sofa's back boys
Love the show lads, any reason why your changing to a 70s game show set?
Ohhh no, the old set was more cozy. He was the one that you would move on from this one
Nah this new set is dead. Go back to the old set up with the sofas. Stay unique.
When stones heads the ball silva is away from the keeper. He can’t be offside until the touch from stones so everything he done before stones heads it is irrelevent?
Precisely…..a lot of talk about nothing 🤦♂️
A well argued point..but rubber laws bend on a whim..integrity is everything..

And if they say he interfered with the keeper, they forget there were 2 arsenal defenders preventing ederson to dive for their goal
The new set looks shit mate. The workmanship looks good, so not knocking your brother but it feels cold and bland. Last one was much better.
Yeah I agree it looks decently made but the colour and wall between the viewers and them is just not right.
The old set is 100% better more colour better vibe
