But in the different interviews he seems to think hip hop and rap are the same thing. To me that is like saying a brick is a building.
He talks about hearing the sugar hill gang and thought that was the first media successful rap song. You are right Gil Scott Heron is so unsung. It makes me sick when BLACK folks get it wrong and perpetuate white media lies.
I guess they think all the black folks who were young in the 70s and 80s are dead or have amnesia.
When i first heard SHG rappers delight I thought it was so more crazy Blow Fly antics.
