As always, an awesome interview. There's a decent amount of great stuff in here, but interviewers keep asking him the same questions. I can think of 3-4 other interviews that share a lot of the same content found here. Audience members usually come with a fresh approach, though, and I appreciate that. Ahmir's got so much to share!

What is the name of the band Quest talks about collabing with in his book. I have the audio book and I forgot which part of the book he talked about it.Pretty sure he wrote he wanted to work with them because of the odd harmonies the 2 girl singers in the group would sing. Help me out if you can. lmk

Why painful to watch? If anything I found it painful to listen to because of the constant scratching of Ahmir's beard on the badly placed mic. ;-)
