  • Diego Rivera’s, “The History of Mexico: An Epic of the Mexican,” is one of his masterpieces. The fresco mural tells more than 2,000 years of Mexican History, but there’s an emphasis on the last 700 years of Mexican History. The mural discusses more than 230 historical figures and historical events within 554 meters at the north stairwell at the National Palace in Mexico City - Palacio Nacional.

Thanks so much for watching him and for your very kind words. I spent a lot of time researching and working on these films, so I'm glad people can get a lot out of them. Thanks again.

Hey.... thanks so much, I really appreciate it. Some of my students say the same thing, and it's great affirmation, because I do work so damn hard to make my lectures and these videos as visually stunning, historically accurate, and engaging as I can make them with my limited film making skills, but I've learned a lot along the way.
I'm a full-time professor and I don't have a whole Lotta time to make these videos, but I really really really enjoy making them, and I feel like there's a void of historically accurate videos online, so I want to fill that gap.
There's a lot of videos that I still want to do, but I also take suggestions, any topics you really want to learn about?

@@ProfessorEstradaPhD to Me, for Me. 😌 It's the best and most beautiful culture. ❤️🤍💚 Being raised in the US in California in Hawaiian Gardens I feel like, I know; there was a reflection of what it was, the why? That wasn't able to be told to us. Watching your lectures helps me feel grounded in my place in the world. It reinforces my "IS-ness". Its important for brown kids to know that they come from a lineage of mighty kings and queens, gifted artists, mathematicians, poets, astronomers, frightening warriors, Lovers, Mothers, Fathers, students, teachers and Gods. It feels like a missing puzzle piece to me. THANK YOU.
