- The driver of an SUV with two children passengers reported to be inside was leading California Highway Patrol officers on a high-speed chase through Los Angeles County on Wednesday morning, authorities said.

From the SUV rear left of the SUV a fat kid exits the back left passenger side, then the right passenger side a female in a gray sweater exits with a baby in a car seat. Pay attention before you defend people who put kids in danger. Man up and take the ass whipping when you have kids in the car. If you want to run solo that's on you.

They weren't in the car; they ran up to the car to get the kids the moment he pulled up in front of the building. But yeah, I'm surprised neither of them ended up in cuffs next to the douchebag. Running out to meet him to get the kids so he could take off and drive crazier to get away is aiding and abetting. Getting up in the cops' faces while they're trying to arrest the dude is definitely obstruction. I wouldn't be surprised if the things they were yelling at the cops fell under the category of assault, too.

This doesn't just happen in L.A. I've seen a high speed police chase in rural Missouri. Somebody was shooting up the small town, too. By the time I saw the chase I was watching it from my porch about a mile up the hill from the road. Heard about it on the police scanner and wanted to have a good view.

The suspect ran up the street and around the corner behind the building, but while the police car drove up to follow him, he doubled back and wound up getting caught by the myriad of police officers. You have to look carefully to see that he has doubled back, right at the bottom of the shot.
