- The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) said charges are imminent for two teenagers who were on board a boat when they were caught on camera dumping garbage into the ocean in South Florida.
The parents are Chris and Lisa Ruth. They own FirstLight Home Care. The trash dumper is Michael Kirby a Junior at Boca Raton H.S.

Given the viral video, news and social media, public outrage, if the two rich kids are only given a slap on the wrist and fined, the prosecutor will confirm that there are two sets of “punishment” for the filthy rich and everyone else.

Yes, they were at Boca Bash in the inlet- went out to dump the beer bottles and cans- then went back into the inlet to the Boca Bash to party more!
Rich daddy gives the 450k intrepid to junior to impress the kids at the bash and realizes he has raised an idiot!
Spent more money on fuel for the dump run rather than just hiding it and disposing of it properly.
If this falls under federal and international waters dumpling laws, mommy and daddy may not be able to bail them out. Joking aside, polluting our oceans is a serious matter and yours was blatant. Kids - actions have consequences.

Being charged is one thing. Having it stick is another. Since the parents are Rich and well connected, chances are the Felony will be reduced to a Misdemeanor and the fine significantly reduced.
When I first saw the news of those teens dumping trash into the ocean it took me about an hour just to calm down and it's obvious I wasn't the only one so sometimes you just gotta make an example of the guilty party.
All their lawyer has to do is use the rich kid affluenza defense. Remember the drunk driving 16 year old from Texas who killed 4 people and was only sentenced to probation and community service
